I have hired Jason approximately 25 times over the years. He has done everything from small repair jobs to large commercial projects that several weeks to complete. My most recent project with Jason was a 8000 square foot metal job for a very particular owner. The owner and I were very impressed with his craftsmanship and attention to detail. I would recommend him to any person looking for a new roof. I have hired many roofing contractors over the years but Jason is the best roofer and hardest worker in Skagit County.

Jason responded to my online request and made arrangements to come to the house and do a bid. He arrived on time and provided a thorough bid and was helpful in explaining everything. My only hesitation to hiring him was that he wasn't dressed professionally, which made me question his overall level of organization and commitment to detail.

From start to finish this was a positive experience. Jason was very responsive and was able to provide an estimate to me within a week. He is very professional and was able to get me on the schedule within 5 days. The roofing was finished in 2 days and the yard and house were spotless ! I also challenged him to straighten out my slightly sagging ridge line (old house) and he did a fantastic job ! - Responsive - Professional - Reliable - Quality workmanship - Competitive price I highly recommend Jason Thompson roofing !

I am very impressed with his work. Jason performs excellent work. She is in an area that is prominent for earth quakes. I requested the roof be attached to the house to prevent some damages. However, he was unable to do so, and reinforced it with plywood. He is professional, prompt, and efficient. He is extremely honest and reasonably priced. He has a skilled crew that are also very professional. I would recommend their services.

Called Jason based on good reviews on Angie's list. He and another worker arrived on schedule and surveyed the site. They brought sample shingles and made a recommendation based on my stated needs and requirements. I went with their recommendation and chose my color. Jason estimated the job would take a day and a half but they arrived at 7:15am and the three of them whipped out the job in only one day. I was amazed. They work hard and fast. Very good cleanup. I think I found only one shingle nail on the ground. Actual cost of job (including tax) was $5349 but I was so impressed I made it an even $5500. Jason was great to work with and I would definitely recommend Jason Thompson Roofing and would hire them again for any future roofing needs I might have.

I left a message with Jason on March 14th to schedule an estimate. He called me back 2 days later and said he could probably come out the following Monday, March 21st. I agreed and asked him to call my husband on Monday as my husband wanted to be there in order to ask questions and discuss the estimate with him. He said he would. On the 21st, my husband got called in to work, so when he was contacted by Jason he told him to call me and I would meet him at our house. After a few hours, he hadn't called me yet, so I called him and left a message. We finally got a call back to reschedule our estimate on April 1st, nearly two weeks later. By that point we'd already chosen a different roofer to do the work. Jason seemed very professional in his manner, but he wasn't very responsive and seemed to have issues calling back in a timely manner.

Jason is simply terrific person and did a superb job. We'd contract with him again in a heartbeat! His professionalism was at the highest level. From bidding on the job to the final cleanup after the work was done, everything was to our satisfaction. If he did plumbing, electrical and house painting we'd hire him for all our jobs every time! We feel fortunate to have found him! He did everything he said he'd do and more. This might sound a little gushy but he's the real deal.

Jason Thompson Roofing is a professional group. Jason completed each task as promised, both in a timely manner and executed well. Each member of his team is a careful, skilled worker who is mindful of the home and landscaping. I am very pleased with the beautiful new roof. The light color also reflects the sun's heat away from the house which has helped keep indoor temperatures down throughout this heat wave. I didn't realize how dreadful the former roof was until Jason and his team had the new one in place. Jason's skill as a roofer is clearly evident in a job well done.

Jason came out personally to do the estimate. His bid was competitive with the others, but unlike the others he pointed out that the deck was soft down near the eaves and he would probably have to replace the bottom two feet of decking. In retrospect, this could have been used by an unscrupulous bidder to add to the final costs of the job. Like, "Hey, we just did the tear-off and found all this rotten decking we have to replace. That's going to cost X dollars more." He also estimated that it would be a 3-4 day job. Jason came out with his crew, Dad included, tore off two layers and had the job done in two days. When he presented the final bill to my wife, it came in so far under bid that she felt compelled to give him a $200 tip with the specific instructions to take the boys out for pizza and beers. The clean-up was as great as can be expected. I have found a very few nails in the garden beds, but nothing that would be considered unreasonable. I recommended Jason to my brother, who had a nightmare tear-off scenario, and he had the same excellent experience. Jason is just a hard working, down to earth and very friendly guy who seems to understand the concept of giving people value for their dollar. He works in Skagit, Whactom and Snohomish Counties. He deserves your business based on Karma alone. --LK

A tree fell on my house and punched three holes through the roof. I called two local contractors to come and give me an estimate to fix the damage. The first one never showed up, the second one came out and told me he would be out in a week and then never showed up. A friend reminded me about Jason Thompson. I called him and he came out right away. He assessed the damage, gave me a price and came back within a couple of hours to take care of the repair. Excellent service, excellent work and a very fair price. The second contractor, who never showed up to do the work, called three weeks later to set a date! I told him the repair had been completed by another contractor.
