Our home was built in 1977 and over the last 6 years we have done 2 major remodels, adding a media room and office first, and next opening up our kitchen and completey redoing and making a pantry. This made our home modern and we love it. Working with David was a pleasure. You cannot tell that this home was not this way from the day it was built. Now we are adding a 4 car garage and updating more of our home and we are grateful to be working with David for a third time to complete our forever home. David is very attentive and listens to what you are saying, it is fun to work with him. We are excited to be starting our third project with him.

David helped us with creating a floor plan that fit everything on our list while keeping the SF down. He was quick with creating spatial solutions that I wouldn’t have thought of. He was amenable to reworking spaces to improve the home overall. He was very kind to work with and would highly recommend.

Since the first phone call to Frameworks, David was always a complete joy to work with. Very kind, very professional, and extremely punctual, returning all of our phone calls and emails immediately. He is extremely knowledgeable, having previously worked in the trades himself, and was able to answer all of our questions. His design was EXACTLY what we had wanted, like he could read our minds! We are unbelievably lucky to have been referred to him and just so blessed to have worked with him! He will be our first call when we are ready to do work on our other properties. We would HIGHLY, highly, highly recommend him to anyone needing an architect.

David was fantastic to work with and helped us with the planning process. We ended up not doing the project due to circumstances in our personal lives but would definitely hire him again and recommend to anyone that needs a good draftsman. He is kind, honest and cares about the quality of his work being done properly in accordance with the guidelines set for by the county, etc.

Dave was very responsive throughout the process. He came out first to look at the property and discuss what we wanted in the addition. Then he came out and surveyed the house and property. Both appointments he showed up on time or early. After that, he developed a floorplan and provided 3-D renderings. My wife and I asked for him to rearrange the bathroom based on wanting to add a toilet room and he did so promptly and without additional fee. He also gave us some options on adding architectural features, such as a tray ceiling and different windows. Updated plans and 3-D renderings were provided again. Again, no cost change. Finally we decided on the final configuration and he produced the drawings, along with a site plan and drainage plan, within two weeks as he originally had scheduled. He sent 5 copies of the design package promptly upon completion of the work. Overall, Dave was great to work with. I found him to be very responsive to the several emails I had, as well as informative when asking questions that were really beyond his scope. I actually found him through a contractor that I had been discussing the project with and I was happy for the recommendation.

Framework Drafting and Design was very responsive, provided great professional advise for design questions, provided their own ideas into the design, and was very easy to work with. They were very quick to respond during the review drawing stage, and really tailored the design to what we were looking for.

David created design plans to remodel our rambler home to a duplex home with attached 2 car garage. He spoke with the city and our site surveyor to draw up a plan that should meet all of the city's requirements and also preserve a portion of our lot for future short plat subdivision. The process took about 6-8 weeks and he was very responsive to our questions, request for design changes. Through out the design phase, we believe he was conscious of our budget for the remodel and steered us away from choices that would place us way outside our budget as well. He provided us with soft copies of the plan that was easy to share with contractors for obtaining bid proposals. We also had access to the 3d viewer into which drawing plans could be imported to view the floor plans in 3d. Dave was very approachable when some of the contractors had questions though there weren't many . Almost all contractors said the design was sufficient and had all the details necessary to provide a construction bid. Despite being mindful of the budget most contractors estimates came in much higher than our original budget. Regardless of that , the design that David drew for us represents what we want in our new home. We look forward to working with him through this construction phase as needed and again in the future when we contemplate building another home. David is very approachable,professional,explains the details when we ask questions however trivial and we would highly recommend him.
