First of all, the people they have working for them are dirty and smoke and leave cigarettes butts on site. Secondly, he got the cheapest gas furnace for my pool they could find and charged me an inflated price. It doesn't even have temperature numbers on it. It looks like a fire danger gauge with red yellow and white. Since I trusted him, I never looked until they were done. I was shocked. Plus I asked them to do some re-wiring work and it was completely inferior

Response from YB TUBLESS
I would like to start our response by asking why this customer has waited nearly 5 years before making this complaint. This is the first time we have heard about this situation, and quite frankly we were surprised to see such information from a valued customer such as this, who was also a real estate professional. Secondly, I wonder why if we supposedly did such a bad job on the pool heater that a year later why we would be called back out to install a new furnace? I hope to address the issues mentioned by the customer to put any doubt aside about our work. Beginning with our technicians, yes they do become dirty over the course of their work in this industry. Between digging ditches for water lines to crawling in crawlspaces underneath homes and businesses, we encounter jobs regularly that cause a technicians clothes to become soiled over the course of a day. This is true in many service industries. We provide shoe coverings to minimize any dirt to be introduced into a customer’s home while working. Regarding the smoking, this particular customer has been a smoker, and may still be to this day, so it would be difficult to tell whose butts were whose, especially after 5 years. The gas heater was not cheap by any means; it was a Raypack gas heater, which is part of the Rheem Company. Raypack has been in business for over 63 years and has a reputation for high quality gas products in the pool and spa industry. Many pool and spa heaters still use dials and gauges to this day. Gauges are far more accurate at providing a reading on pool and spa equipment. All of our employees are licensed with the State of Washington and have appropriate classification for working in this industry. You can ask ANY employee for their Washington State License number for Labor and Industries, and they will be happy to provide it for you to verify their information on the L&I website (lni.wa.gov). In addition, you may view our contractor licensing for the company there as well. Just punch in our companies contractor numbers which are ECONOWC159BW for our Economy Wiring side, and YBTUB**081RU on our Y B Tubless side. When we came out in 2006 to replace a gas furnace. When we did this, we pulled a permit as is required for this type of work. A licensed inspector came out to verify our work and signed off the job as complete. We installed a Kelvinator brand furnace in this instance, which is another brand that is highly recognized in the Heating industry for quality and craftsmanship having been in business for 96 years. This brand has the lowest incidents of return visits for problems out of any other brand we install. We stand by our work and perform our services as per current electrical and mechanical codes. Neither of our contractor licenses have any warrants, summons, or complaints against them on the Labor and Industries website. Thank you for reading and we look forward to working with you soon. Sincerely, Economy Wiring Company Inc. & Y B Tubless Spas

THEY HELPED US FIT A NEW TUB INTO AN EXISTING HOT TUB OPENING. THEY WORKED WITH US TO HELP US RETROFIT OUR EXISTING GAS HEATER TO A NEW FIBERGLASS TUB. WE APPRECIATED WORKING WITH AN ORGANIZATION WHO WOULD LET US RETAIN OUR EXISTING INVESTMENT RATHER THAN INSISTING WE START FROM SCRATCH.
Description of Work: WE PURCHASED A NEW HOT TUB AND COVER, HAD THEM DELIVER THE TUB AND HELP REPAIR AN EXISTING GAS HEATER FOR THE TUB.
