Description of Work: Purchased a coupon on Angie's List fo $49 Deck Design. Company was supposed to contact me (the site asked for three dates that I would be available for their representative to come by - all of which passed and no one ever contacted me). I called them to ask for an appointment time, was told their scheduler was out and that they would contact me the following Monday - never received a call. I am contacting Angie's List now to obtain a refund on the purchase price - and will not work with this company going forward.

Description of Work: They gave us a bid to replace the top surface of our deck with Trex; however, the bid was far higher than expected, so we won't be having the work done this year.

Description of Work: Replaced sliding glass door. They did ok but could be better. Took several months to "order in door". Sealant they used around door they said would dry clear and would not be noticeable bit it dried white and is very noticeable and splotchy.p on house around door. Could improve customer service and quality a bit.

Description of Work: They gave us an estimate for a new deck. We wanted a fairly basic deck and their cost was almost double the average rate for the same deck using the same materials. Felt like they didn't want our business unless we were willing to overpay significantly.

Description of Work: This was just the up front visit. We received a thorough overview about the design and construction of a new deck. | |Turns out it wasn't for us at this time, but the company rep was very nice and the ultimate professional.

Description of Work: They came out to tell me that they do not do a job as small as mine. it was a complete waste of time and money.

Description of Work: We had Cameron come out in June 2014 to give us a bid to replace our deck, receiving a bid of around $6500. We were not ready to have the work done at that time, but called him back in September to see if they were available. He informed us that they had restructured, and that the bid they gave us previously would not likely be current. We set up a time for a new bid, but they did not show. We spend winters in AZ, so did not pursue further until this June, at which time the current bid of $9600.00 was given; and we were informed that they were scheduling 3 months out. Received a message in early August that they were ready to come out. We left a message back and prepped the house for the demolition and rebuild. Texted to confirm that we were on for Monday, to hear that they had scheduled another, bigger project in front of us. Two weeks later, the work was completed, while we were out of town. It is gorgeous, and we are happy with the product.

Description of Work: Paid for a custom deck design, but when Cameron came by he said we should just go with a flat square like we currently have. He gave us a very bloated estimate and said to get that price we needed to sign that day. I'm not sure if the estimate was $20k because that was the minimum price for them to do the job, but we had someone else out and the estimate was $5k.

Description of Work: The provider did what anyone would do for a free estimate. They then provided an estimate that we more than 3 times any others, and granted the $500 off as advertised, which amounted to less than a 1.5% discount. No plans were created or provided. Invasive questions were asked that had nothing to do with the project, and the agent sought to worm other information. The whole experience was as oily feeling as one we had with a paver company a few years ago. There is no way I would ever use the services of this company.

Description of Work: They came to the house and gave us round numbers, and said something to the effect that a firm bid needed more of a commitment on our part. We went with someone else that was personally recommended, and gave us a free bid. So, we paid $49 for pretty much no service at all, which by the way is a complaint I have about many of these teaser offers on Angies List.

Description of Work: They sent email after purchase and then left voicemail. I called back after three tries of calling, I was able to reach Cameron. He stated that there was a minimum of $10, 000 and there was not available appointment at this time.
