Current metal windows were removed out of frame, cutbacks on the casing and new vinyl windows installed. no issues throughout this whole process and we could not be more pleased with the way the owners carry this company. We felt we got a excellent price with excellent customer service.

We opted to have both projects done by one contractor to make it easier on everyone. Old windows were removed from home and installed and after that the siding was installed. We really liked how Modernized Exteriors has partnered with the factory to ensure that the job gets done right every time. It really was a very large weight lifted off our shoulders. On time and respectable installers and they were actually a pleasure to have around as long as you don't mind a little noise! lol. We will refer Modernized Exteriors to our family and friends.

M.E. did a great job. they came out to my house and offered me plenty of different options so I could choose the roof that best fit my budget. They did a great job of showing me how they were different from other companies and how they could guarantee that I would be completely satisfied with my new roofing system. Everything that was explained to me happened and we couldn't be more happy about the whole process. I know a couple of my neighbors are talking to them now about doing their roofs as well. - Joni

Frankly, our roof was in really rough shape. We had heard about Modernized Exteriors because they did a big window job down the street from us and we saw their sign and there workers out there workin away. We had them look at our roof. They took a peak at the roof and definitely found some real soft spots. We were pretty convinced that the roof was well overdue being replaced and we weren't shocked thatwe had to replace 8 sheets of plywood. The nice thing was at the end even though we had to replace much more plywood than we had expected Modernized Exteriors didn't even ask for an extra penny. They are a great group of guys and we hope that some more neighbors will use them around the neighborhood. The type of roof was 50 yr GAFF roof with new white gutters! -Kerry Scott

We took advantage of an Angie's List BIG DEAL and were very happy with the experience. This provider contacted us within 24 hours and set up an appointment to estimate the project. They were punctual, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process. They were a little higher in price than another quote, but the workmanship on the floor of the deck is excellent. In this case, we truly got what we paid for. We highly recommend this provider.

On time and courteous!.... they suggested to go with the thicker shingle because the shape of my roof was really going to look much better with it. We really enjoyed camerons easy going attitude and non pushy sales approach. We also ended up taking advantage of their efficiency discount I think it was called but we took advantage of the 10% off and just figured it would cover our tax. The crews were very efficient and we are soo happy that our roof is done! it looks amazing!

Company requires both homeowners to be present. They should state so beforehand as some spouses travel and have extended and or midnight shifts. Secondly, there are no computerized drawings or any professional designs, just an estimate and if you want they will sketch an outline on a piece of paper for you. What it states in the ad is not completely accurate. I can get Lowes or Home Depot to provide that service free of charge.

Really nice company. The roof was a major change from wood shake. Pulled the vinyl siding and got hardies cement boards. New energy efficient windows. Added a trex deck to our backyard. I love love love love the way everything turned out. The permit process had the deck on hold for a few weeks, other than that everything was very seamless.

We ended up ordering some top of the line windows for our home and they installed them and did interior trim. They did great. Price was in the middle of our bids.

The First day the siding was torn off and and the team started getting ready to waterproof the house. Cameron came out during the project and made sure all the materials got there and the teams were set to start putting the siding on the home. Once the siding went on ant all the window trim was sealed up everything looked sooooo different. The james hardie siding came pre painted from the factory so we we all set to enjoy it when the crew was done... we are very excited with the new look of our home and definitely glad that we have a 15 year warranty on the finish!

Provider replaced 10 metal windows and put in White Vinyl windows. The install was all done in one day. Drop Cloths were put on the inside and outside of every window. crew was efficient and friendly

We purchased a lifetime siding project from this company and we are really glad that we did. We only did half the house so we opted to go for the pre primed siding and painted it ourselves. Our Home took about 2 days to complete and we cant wait to paint it!

It was long overdue time for us to replace our roof. We had Modernized Exteriors come out and give us a roofing inspection and they found a couple places where there definitely was soft spots where there had been dry rot on the plywood underneath. Cameron was the person that came out and it was nice that he was also one of the owners. To save on cost we opted to use the 30 year roofing shingle but we were still able to get a lifetime warranty. Cameron told us about how they do their roofing and we really liked every step that they took to make sure we got our roof done right! $22,500 is the price that we paid before tax. Our roof looks wonderful. Thank you for the job well done!

Replaced my roof with a 50 year lifetime GAF roofing system. The crew did everything that they promised. The project from day one of meeting with the owners was 3 weeks. The roof was finished in 3.5 days. The first day the roof was all torn off and all debris was thrown into the dumpster. the second day they were out here they put on our water tight underlayment to make sure that there was no leaks. after that they did the shingles and our home really started changing! The gutter crew was out the next day and made sure that everything was perfect before they left. Before leaving the guys walked around and made sure the jobsite was cleaner than when they showed up. They touched on everything we were looking for in a contractor and we are glad we went with this company!

Resided with hardie siding on two sides of my home. Front and back since these are the two sides that really got all the sun and were very faded. The work that was done was excellent. The guys over at Modern exteriors were very pro active and it seemed pretty apparent that they have been doing this a long time despite the fact that they were a little younger than we expected. We were in shock when really everything went off without a hitch. They were nice professional and very helpful. We reffered there name to a friend down the street that is looking to get there windows done as well and we gave them a glowing recommendation. I hope they get the job!

Here is a quick run through of the details, First Modernized exteriors came out to our house to give us a consultation on what type of siding we should use. They had mentioned that they are a dealer for James Hardie siding and told us that in most cases, it ends up being a really great option for most homeowners. What I especially enjoyed was that the company sat us down and showed us pictures a really helpful report from remodeling magazine regarding the cost of most projects vs. what kind of resale value we could expect to see in our home. We took their recommendation on the type of siding and went with James Hardie and we are glad we did. The install took five days and we were extremely impressed with how easy the installers made it look. The whole process took about from the signing to the contracts to the signing of the completion certificate took about 5 weeks which is what was expected because I know this is a extremely busy time for contractors.

After doing much research on different grades of siding. We came to the conclusion that the best product for our home was James Hardie. We knew that the pre primed product was cheaper but we thought it was the best way to go to just get it factory painted since we would have to spend money to paint it anyway. The final product was just as we had expected it. we paid approximately $27,000 and our home I believe had about 2200 sq ft of siding. Not sure how that chalks up with other prices but we felt that we got a excellent deal!

We are a new member to Angie's list because Modernized Exteriors referred us here to read reviews. Being a new member to Angie's List I can tell you reading all the great reviews on here was extremely helpful in making a decision on this project. We had a very large project so of course we were on guard at first thinking about who we were going to choose as our General Contractor. The two gentleman that originally came out were young confident and very capable. They took there time and they made sure that we were comfortable with every decision that was made. This was the main reason that we chose modernized exteriors. 1) Windows were installed 3 weeks after signing of the contract 2) the next day the siding crew was out here tearing off all the old siding placing a weather barrier on the home and finally putting the new siding on ( this process took a week) 3) we had originally contracted for just the siding and the windows and when we saw how smooth everything was going we were confident in having them do our roofing project with a 50 yr roof. 4) 6 days later (because we didn't sign contracts till the siding was done) Modernized Exteriors moved there schedule so we could get our roof done just 6 days after that! we had a excellent experience and it feels good to write a review on here so that everyone can read it. The installers were great. We did go for the premium series window and use there factory install program. Modernized Exteriors worked right with the factory to get all my windows installed within 3 weeks. 9 windows and 1 sliding glass door were installed in a day and a half and the installers took there time and didn't cut corners.

Our goal for the spring time was to move the placement of our deck and build a wrap larger deck that actually wrapped around the house. We know we didn't want to go with cedar again because of the maintenance and it would probably just rot out again. Nick was our project manager and he let me know that they were a dealer for trex. He showed us this really cool trex kit with color and decking samples and samples of the railings as well. We loved the trex and for a extra $4000 we added lighting to the stairs and in each post cap. The lighting really got us excited. We did the whole project with them. Replaced the siding on the back of the house and redid the deck. What I liked most about the company right away was that they refused to do the job without a permit. That really gave me a lot of confidence that they were the right choice. The deck and siding took a total of 10 days because it was a large project. as far as the installers they were on time and did a top notch job!

When I first called the number for Modernized Exteriors it was on a Sunday so I figured I would get a voicemail and to my surprise Cameron answered and said that all the calls get forwarded to his cell phone so they don't miss anything. Needless to say communication was excellent throughout the entire project. I was first looking for a repair on my siding but he told me that they don't do repairs. He had talked to be about meeting his minimum and doing half the house this year and half the house next year to space out the cost as this project was not cheap. We had two sides of our home resided with a hardy board siding and we did 5 windows and the price was $19,000. The job was done in the promised 4 week time period and we were very happy with the whole process.
