Washingtons Best Decks and Siding

I did not end up using the deal due to the fact that the deal was for an inspection for a complete new roof and not repairs. The company would have sub contracted with another for my repairs. The guy was up front and prefessional when I spoke him and let me know I did not need this deal.

The roof we had before was about 17 years old and was starting to really show some wear and tear. We decided to have modernized exteriors based on their excellent reviews. We were starting to get a little worried about some possible leaks that were bound to happen so we decided to use their services for our roof replacement. we decided to go with a 50 year roof for the looks. There were definitely some soft spots up there and some plywood that definitely needed to be replaced and the crew did excellent. they made us feel very comfortable. the crew was also on time and very professional. know I realize why they charge more than other contractors

They did a fine and thorough job. They gave me suggestions and said the roof was in good shape. They were on time.

We were given a lot of more expensive options from Modernized but decided to do a mid-grade roof. We couldnt justify spending the extra money on a fancy roof because there is so much else that needs to done to this house. The roof came off and went back on really fast once it started. No nails in the yard or driveway when they were done. The price was in line with other bids we received. Modernized Exteriors did everything they said they would and the price didnt change on us.

At first we called in to these guys because we were referred by a friend who had used them for siding last summer. We although were unaware that they didn't really do repair work they had a 500 sq ft minimum on any siding job right now. After speaking with Cameron on the phone for a few minutes and diagnosing our problems we decided that honestly we needed to do more than repair to this siding. We went with a James Hardie siding product and boy did it make a difference. We had them measure the whole house to see what it would cost to do but honestly this product is fairly expensive and I know that Modernized Exteriors is not the cheapest company out there from what I hear from my friends. The bottom line is we have heard great things and decided to work half the house of new siding into our budget. For the whole house was roughly $39000 although half the house was $17000 and that is something that we could do. They held up to the high expectations that we had for them and the install was done with precision.

We had a fairly large roof so decided to not go for the top of the line shingle and go with a 30 year. What really stood out for us about this company and the reason that we chose them for the work was the warranties that they were able to offer. They came out and told us that they use a specific underlayment and ridgevent that specially pair with the shingle that we chose. We definitely didn't want to cut small steps on one of the largest investments that we will make and so this really stood out to us.

I just needed one door done and it was an awkward size that two other companies didn't want to bid on. Cameron was my estimator and he told me that the door would be expensive but it was possible. I signed the paperwork and they had my door done in a just under a month. The construction only took a day. Nice guys to work with.

We are getting ready to move out of our home and rent it although we knew we needed to make some upgrades on the home before it was able to rent. On the exterior we definitely needed windows and siding. Modernized Exteriors came out and was able to get us a price on both while they were out there. It was extremely helpful seeing the cost of both jobs broken out in the invoice on his ipad. Both prices seemed extremely fair. Because the project was two big projects (22 windows and 3 doors and all new siding) he was able to offer me a volume discount if we went with them that day. We knew we were going to do it anyways so we went ahead and took advantage of the deal. Every step of the way was great. The crews came out and replaced all my windows and doors in my home, then replaced all my siding on my home to give it a complete facelift. My house looks great and I really appreciated the great suggestions on colors and styles that Cameron gave me. From start to finish the job was done in 9 days and these guys were amazing. I have no concerns about their technical competence as I've worked with many subcontractors. These guys are OK, just not sophisticated with PUD processes. I wished they could have done the job for me, it was a great deal and I have no reservations about their skills

Modernized Exteriors offered a excellent service. We paid a little over $22,000 for a cedar deck @ about 488 sq feet which is much bigger than the previous deck we had. The permit process took about 2.5 weeks and the deck building took about 8 days to build. After the deck was built we had soo much extra room we couldn't wait to go to Costco and buy some deck furniture. To put it in perspective price wise they were the second highest out of our 3 bids. We feel glad we didn't settle for the lowest bid and we feel like we would rather pay a little more to get it done by the professionals.

The short version: high quality work at a fair price. Cameron helped me decide what I needed without trying to up sell anything. 6+ months later I am happy with his work. He is in the business long term and he cares about his relationships with his clients. This is exactly the type of contractor I look for.

I am writing this review because I just really appreciated the attention that this company gave me. I have been renting and I am a first time home buyer and this was the largest amount of money I have spent on a project so I was a little nervous to start. Cameron came out and made me extremely comfortable. He measured up the windows gave me multiple options and was sensitive to my budget. All budget aside we ended up going with the premium series windows. we have really enjoyed them so far and we feel like it has made a big difference in our house being nice and cool so far this summer.

This is the second time I've dealt with a large project. The first one was terrible. I knew the right questions to ask this time. This experience was soooo much better. I give this company very high marks. I wish I would have used them for my roof.

I have weekdays off from work and was able to have various top rated roofers come over and give me estimates. Modernized Exteriors came with two positive reviews from friends who had used the. Not only did they do a great job on my roof, they were helpful and friendly after the job was done, coming out to address a small issue(free of charge).

Replaced rusty old metal sliding glass door with White vinyl door. We had already done the windows in our home but left the door out due to cost. The guys from Modernized Exteriors came out did it efficiently and cleanly. We love the new door! The Door was $2,300 and came with a lifetime warranty so we never have to worry about it again!

We bought the premium windows and had them redo the trim on 2 windows. Overall we are happy with the experience. The warranty is very comforting on an investment of this size.

Everything that was asked of these folks was delivered with excellence! Top notch job! The home looks better than we could have imagined. cant say enough nice things about everyone I met from this company so I will just keep this review short and sweet!

We hired this company to come out and do the windows and 2 sliding glass doors on our home. What we enjoyed most and the reason we picked them to do the project was because they were just offering some white vinyl window like the other two companies. They came for the estimate sat us down and asked us what we would like for our new window system. We ended up going with a green color for the exterior and a wood grain for the interior. It definitely changed the cost but at the price we were going to have to pay anyways we didn't want to have to settle for a white basic looking window. We spent about $19,000 and got 12 windows and two doors replaced. We have already had 2 neighbors come tell us what a great job we did! Thank you Modernized Exteriors.

The decking process was actually pretty neat. Cameron from Modernized Exteriors first came out and dreamed us up the best possible option for the small space that we had available seeing as we live in Seattle therefore don't have much backyard space to waste. We ended up going with a Trex Decking system in somewhat of a "L" shape to maximize the total area. The deck turned out beautiful. couldn't imagine referring any other builder to any other family or friends. Modernized Exteriors is absolutely a excellent company to do business with.

If anyone needed to get siding done it was us. I had been putting this project off for 5 years because I was scared of the cost to do my Kirkland home with all new siding. I knew this was going to be a very large project and we ended up spending 45000 for 43 squares of siding all new trim and new gutters. The company was right in the middle of our three bids price wise but they really knew how to treat us and were just excellent in communication. I really liked the fact that we could text message them if we just had a question about something and they were able to get right back to us. I would definitely recommend Modernized Exteriors!

We didn't even know where to start with our decking project. we needed ideas and wanted to make sure that this deck was going to turn out perfect! Not only did they dream up our dream deck but built it just like we wanted it! The first thing that impressed me about these guys is that they refused to do any job above 3 ft off the ground without a permit. It really put my husband and I at ease knowing that if Modernized Exteriors was going to do the deck they would be doing it right or not doing it at all. The whole process went just as they explained I guess. we had to wait about 4 weeks before the permits were in hand and we signed off on the architect drawings. The cherry on top was the lighting that we had installed! it looks absolutely amazing. the process from start to finish took 5 weeks because I know they were very busy. The important thing is that once they started the job they were there everyday until it was done. Two Thumbs UP!!!

First they came out and gave me an estimate! Really nice guys. We decided to pay a couple bucks extra and get the window trim and the fascia included in our cost. We thought going with the trim was a no brainer! We had 2,600 sq ft on siding and after the add ons we were looking at a discounted rate of $29,000. The crew that showed up on install day was on time and very nice. The project took 8 days and we ran into a lot less rot than we had originally expected we would find in some areas. When the job was complete we were more than satisfied. Thanks again!

was just as we expected after reading the reviews on here. the process was fairly seamless and the communication was excellent. We were informed as to when the windows were ordered as well as had our installation date over a week in advance so we could prepare! We had the windows done in our last home by a company that was our lowest bid and everything was wrong and they price gouged us for more than even our highest bid. needless to say we were very careful in the contractor we chose this time. Cameron and his crews handled every issue that was out here during the job and I didn't even have to worry about it. At the end of the job for our walk around I was expecting them to ask me for more money and the price never changed! I couldn't believe it. Finally I have found a contractor I can Trust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
