Description of Work: Very friendly and professional but ideas we had would most likely not pass city inspection.

Description of Work: I purchased the coupon and tried to schedule an appointment when sent the scheduling information. They said that my husband had to be present for the appointment. As a lawyer and realtor for over 15 years, I always obtain the bids on home improvements and my husband does not want to be bothered. I don't need my husband's permission to spend money. They refused to set an appointment unless both of us were present so no appointment could be set.

Description of Work: They came and gave me a bid on a deck and sunroom. We explored numerous options for the job. They were very professional and their cost was competitive. Although I did not use them because my job seemed to be a bit outside their usual scope, I would not hesitate to contact them for other jobs.

Description of Work: They are very personable salesmen. The bid was almost twice as much as bids we had already received and if we had known they would be that far off I would never have bought this "daily deal". We will never use them at their prices but I must say if we would have hired them I'm comfortable saying they would do a great job. There is a happy medium to the saying you get what you pay for.

Description of Work: Showed up @ 2hrs earlier than the appt. and acted like I misunderstood; I work from home and wouldn't have scheduled it during work hrs. which is when they arrived. Then,I tried on 2 occasions to have the estimate sent - the first time the call was never returned, the second time, I was told the email must have been lost(really??)and he'd send one. It's going on 4 wks - I'll look elsewhere.

Description of Work: The job was bid and I accepted the bid and paid a 50% deposit. Later, it was revealed that the job was more extensive than we had thought, including structural work, not just roofing. I requested the deposit be returned. The deposit was returned, in good order and withing a very reasonable span of time. I will invite Modernized Exteriors to bid on the complete job once the scope of the work has been completely determined.

Description of Work: Angie's List "Inspection Deal" only for $49. They arrived when scheduled and inspected my roof as agreed. No issues found. Personable fellows. I was satisfied with my deal and service performed.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal and then decided to review the products that the company uses. There were so many bad reviews on the product (not the company) that I decided I did not want to move forward. The company was very responsive about wanting to talk to me. The provider and I did not have any contact. Just an email from them asking for a phone number.

Description of Work: Replaced window and added insulation. |M.E. worked around my crazy schedule and my limited budget. The job went smoothly. Will use M.E in the future for my next project.
