They were professional and got the job done

They inspected all the vents, even showed me dust built up inside the air ducts. They worked hard and now my ducts are clean inside. My dryer vent duct is over 15 feet long. It was filled with so much lint.. a fire danger. They scrubbed it clean. I’m glad I finally got this done. Glad Angie’s List recommendation this company.

Scheduled the service, got a reminder call the night before, but then no show the next day, nor did I get a call until later in the evening. They claim there was a computer problem and at least refunded my money, but I would have appreciated at least a telephone call that they weren't coming. Wasted a whole day at home waiting for them.

Great, had to do it without his machine. Which meant we actually got a more thorough cleaning for the same price.

It cost me more than I was planning but now the vents are clean and won’t get that dirty again!

After the appointment was set David called to confirm and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. The vent hadn't been cleared in a long time and he did a very thorough job cleaning from the dryer to the vent on the back of the house. About a third of a garbage bag full of lint which surprised me. David was very pleasant, efficient, respectful and we had a nice chat as well.

He did a decent job and explained what he was doing and why.

I thought the cleaning includes air ducts, furnace and the pipe to house but it is not. To clean the pipe above furnace, there is additional charge of $150 which is double than I pay for all air ducts in my house. It’s kind of unexpected! And later on I found the service charge drop from $69 to $65 on promotion. It’s not a big difference but kind of disappointed when they were not honor the new price.

GREAT! David came and he was very helpful and professional. He even helped us pull out a couch that otherwise would not have needed to have been moved. I would highly recommend them and hire them again.

excellent service by David. Very professional and accommodating. Four large dogs and my wife recuperating from surgery. David patiently adjusted his work to allow for us to move from room to room. David took ample time to explain what he was doing, the condition of my system, and what my next steps should be. I would contract with Washington Air Ducts again and would certainly ask for David!

Workman communicated well. Called to adjust the arrival time, which was really appreciated. Did more work than I expected, and gave helpful suggestions for making additional improvements to my systems. Did not put any pressure on me to hire him to do any extra work, even though I had some that needs attention.

Excellent Like I said they actually kept the date we scheduled, showed up on time, didn't change the price and did an excellent job. Very thorough from start to clean up. I know the offer was for more services but $65 was so well worth just the dryer vent. Any offer for less than that from other companies just for dryer vent cleaning on Angies list has been horrible and never ended up costing less than $65. I will definitely be hiring them again.

It went well; the surprise waiting for us was not the fault of this company at all. They found that our vents had probably never been cleaned in the 30 years (we've only owned for 6 months). So, that 'light' cleaning charge quickly lead up into a full scale brush job which is, of course, going to cost more. You couldn't pay us enough to do the work that David did, so, was it worth it, certainly; am I fine with spending 10x more than I expected? never but, at least it's done now. And, to our surprise, it came with a 3 year warranty so, they'll keep the vents/ducts clear w/out charge and only charge a nominal fee (~$40) for extra cleaning, if required. The only downside was the fact that after the job, they didn't seem to notice that the vents downstairs (because they're connected to the ones upstairs) ended up shooting out dust all over our items downstairs (computer monitors, important papers, our kids play area, etc). Meaning, 30 years or 'gunk' ended up covering areas we work in daily. Had we known this was a possibility, maybe we could have covered up those things or moved them out of the way but, since we're admittedly ignorant to how this process works, we ended up with a bit of house cleaning after they left. That's just a FYI for first-timers looking to get their vents cleaned. Also, we just had our furnace serviced/cleaned, as well. After this vent cleaning, we needed to have the furnace cleaned again. This is an order of operations thing for those wondering. Get your vents cleaned first and then have your furnace serviced, otherwise, you'll end up paying to get the furnace cleaned 2x. We'll certainly use this company again and, regardless of price, the fact that they got the job done without any idea of what was waiting for them and didn't have to reschedule was a HUGE benefit. I was very nervous about them having to push back the date of work but, this means that large or small, David/WA Air were ready for nearly 'any' job the moment they arrived. This is critical for 2 working parents.

Normally do most maintenance work on my house myself but decided to have an outside company come in to do the duct cleaning. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Washington Duct Cleaners. David showed up right on time and after inspecting the system gave it a complete brush cleaning(at no extra charge). He is very professional and also personable and I was quite pleased with the service. Would highly recommend this company.

David contacted me for the appointment, confirmed the appointment 2 days before, and arrived well within the 2 hr. window I was given. He was very personable, professional, and kept my home clean despite the very dirty ductwork. I would definitely recommend his work and will use him again in the future.
