Paul, the owner, was terrific. I needed to replace a rotting wooden rear entry door with a new ThermaTru fiberglass door. I also wanted to add a storm door to the same entry. Paul came over and inspected the site and we ordered both doors in late December of 2021. The doors arrived several months later and Paul came out for the installation. He was great. He was clearly a meticulous and experienced professional who knew his stuff perfectly. After several hours he had completed the installation of both doors. They look and work great. Paul also cleaned up the interior and exterior areas where he worked and everything was immaculate after he left. Can't of better than Washington Door Service,

The guy was very very nice, and and very helpful, thought it was pricey but the service was very good, the door needed a slight adjustment and he came back a few days later and did the adjustment for us.

Great. Sean cam to give me an estimate and said that I didn't need to replace the door, but he could repair it. With a saving of over $1000.00. He was very efficient and the door is working great. Highly recommend this family business.

Amazing. They not only replaced the doors and windows exactly the way we wanted, they fixed a major structural issue in our house that only became clear halfway through the door install. They are just tops for quality and attention to detail. And for the front door, we thought we needed a new door (it squeaked terribly, and had zero weather proofing, very leaky and cold). They spent 2 hours and charged us so little to make the door fit in the frame, not squeak, not cold. Door wizards!! We were prepared to spend 6x for a new door compared to what they charged us based on a lot of shopping around, they are just 100% above-board. More details on the structural repairs: when we took out our old windows and set of French doors (8 full length panels, all told -- two double-doors, and 4 extra door sized windows. A lot of glass) the wall started to sway. They quickly realized that something was deeply wrong so they jacked up the wall (that used to supported only by the removed panels), figured out we had a MASSIVE dry rot issue (almost no "rot" left, it was just an empty cavity, and that wall of the house was dangling, not supported by the foundation). And then they fixed it for us, completely, Worked super late that night, so our house wasn't left open to the weather overnight. And the charge for the work was so small (materials, and I think they didn't charge us for all of the hours.) Overwhelmingly fair. We don't have any more doors to replace at this point but if YOU do, this is exactly the right company to hire. Beautiful results, attention to detail, and their prices are extremely fair and sometimes surprisingly low. Just a great experience.

The tech was very polite and professional. The company has a minimum service cover charge and the work I needed done was not that costly, but I needed it done none the less as my sliding door would not lock. To compensate, the tech checked every door in my house and made adjustments to several of them so they worked properly. I had issues I was unaware of until he pointed them out. The price is a little high, but the work was EXCELLENT.

Matt was very courteous and professional. He looked at the slider and told me he could easily solve my problem, but then informed me they had a minimum service charge of (if I remember correctly) $205.00. This was not relayed to me when I made the appointment. I was quite surprised and there was no way this small job was a $205.00 job. He said he would check all my doors and fix any issues he found while he was here. I reluctantly agreed since I really wanted my door fixed. He did find other issues, for instance, my front door. We had a new front door installed during a remodel a couple of years ago, and the door sweep was not adjusted properly, leaving about a 3/4 inch gap that we were unaware of. Matt closed that gap, and also chiseled out the lock mechanism in our door jamb, as it was not locking smoothly and easily. By the time Matt left, all our doors were working smoothly, just the way they were meant to and I was a happy customer.

It went very well. They were on time and very professional. There were flaws(scratches) in the glass of both doors, something the installers certainly couldn't anticipate, but we hope to have the glass replaced soon.

Washington Door replied immediately to my service request and sent a technician out right away. Matt did a great job. He fixed the problem with the sliding glass door, plus he put the screen door back on its track, answered all my questions about the doors in my new house, and even oiled the front door latch when he noticed it was sticking. Great job!

I emailed Washington Door Service about my sticky pocket door. They happened to be able to come out the same day. Matt and his partner were very thorough about showing me the problem and giving me the options. I decided to have them remove the door and wrap the frame. They did it quickly and it looks perfect. Definitely would recommend

Amazing! We thought our doors were completely unfixable after a different handyman had botched the job and chiseled away the wood of our french exterior doors when he had tried to replace the hinges. Matt laid out our options and what would work and did the all of the work in the same day. We requested to have our hardware repainted for the locks on our front and back doors, have new hinges put on all the doors, have new weather proofing put on the french doors, and to repair the damage and unbalanced work on the french doors that had been done. Matt also tightened up our locks and made them much smoother in our 100 year old home. It's amazing and we'll be in touch for any future door issues if we ever have any!

Professional and responsive company. Quick to come out for estimate and always answers calls and emails. Installation went well and looks great! The only snag was that I was scheduled for a day I had off and I had a text confirming the date but they had scheduled me for another day in error. Luckily things worked out rescheduling.
