Could not have gone better. The finish on the door was excellent. The color was exactly what I wanted. The carpentry was outstanding. I would hire again in a heartbeat. I had no idea that it would look so good.

Everything is great except the little squeak when the door closes but I was told that's the product.

We've been Washington Door Service customers for a number of years. Lloyd and Matt are consistently exceptional and we're grateful. Lloyd quickly responded, removed the door, and planned to speak with Lowe's about replacing it in the event that the door manufacturer was unhelpful. In their shop, Lloyd and Matt further inspected the door's retractable chain mechanism, figured out what caused the malfunction, and repaired it. A day later, Lloyd re-installed the door.

I would highly recommend them. I wouldn't say they are cheap but they are reasonable. They did a great job. They came when they said they would. They are always backlogged because they are good.

We had a front entry door installed. We purchased the door, door locks and new molding. We were originally going to have a storm door installed as well. We got a good bid from Lloyd. His son Matt came out to do the work. The door jam ended up needing some extra materials and labor. As it turns out, the storm door was not going to work without building up the floor portion so we opted out of having that done. Because of the extra labor for the door jamb, I fully expected to pay for the original bid on the job even though we did not have the storm door installed. The next morning I received a revised bill for the job. They lowered the cost from $1000 to $700. I was very pleasantly surprised. And the job was so professionally done. From start to finish, Lloyd and his son were professional, courteous and very fair. I would recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of door work. Thank you so much!

Really like working with Llyod. He has a positive attitude. He got my vision for this major remodel and helped me pick out the doors, materials, and styles. Very low stress. The result is awesome (see front door below). The work went fast and on schedule. There were a few snags - wrong size door delivered and then door opened the wrong way - but everything was fixed in short order.

Even thought they were super busy, Matt squeezed us in and repaired our door and threshold, installed new hardware which we purchased from a big-box store (he had given us tips beforehand so we knew what sizes of items to buy, etc.). Our door looks looks beautiful and works perfectly now. And, instead of spending $1,500 or more, we only spent about $400. Yes!

They were friendly and I felt like they did a good job. The quality was very good.

They came out and did a great job! Removed the door from the track and found the rollers were rusted in place. They replaced the rollers, cleaned the track, put the door back and adjusted it. Rolls like new! In addition they'll come back and replace the track for free when the part comes in. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and were very nice.

It was wonderful! They installed and fixes doors. Cleaned up so well wouldn't know they had been there.

Matt came by, inspected the door, made recommendations and we agreed on the job description. Received the estimate a few days later - agreed on a work date. Matt arrived on time and finished the job in a timely manner. During the removal/installation Matt explained everything he was doing and I was impressed by his thoroughness. The original installation of the door and frame had not been done very professionally (door opening not square, no insulation, no head flashing and minimum sealant used). Matt's attention to detail was excellent and he easily handled a few unexpected situations. The locking hardware was transferred from the old door and Matt replaced a defective component. Clean-up was meticulous and my new front door installation looks great. I am well pleased and would certainly recommend Washington Door Service to anyone who needed door work.

Lloyd did an amazing job of repairing, repainting, and reattaching the door. The finish is seamless and looks like new.

Had Washington door service come out to check the problem, Lloyd Evans Arrived , He was very knowledgeable, friendly and appeared very eager to solve the Situation. He put me on the schedule, bottom line, it took about 40 minutes but he did a beautiful job! My door now closes an opens better than it ever has and I've been here 40 years. I would highly recommend this company without hesitation!

Washington Door Service was fantastic! After calling over half a dozen contractors, Lloyd responded promptly, had a quote out to me in minutes and had me on the schedule for just two days later. Matt was probably one of the best service contractors I have ever worked with. Not only did he do the job that was bid, but he went above and beyond by fixing the frame and better securing it to the house. Was in and out in less than an hour. I won't bother calling anyone else for any door work in the future.

They showed up on time and took care of the problem. I had some other issues that they solved and took care of. It was an excellent experience with excellent service.

Service person was prompt, professional, efficient. He changed the rollers rather than tell us that we needed a whole new door. I love the quiet of the new rollers.

I am thrilled with the quality and professional service. Rarely do you find anyone who masters their craft in such magnitude. Plus friendliness and many smiles. This is someone extremely capable and who loves his work and is exceeding good at it. I am not a relative or friend!

I emailed on Thursday evening, and they were out Monday mid-day to make the adjustments. Work was done fast, cleanup was excellent, and my doors open and close perfectly. There was no charge for the adjustments because it was considered part of the warranty on the initial install.

On time, responsible and fantastic quality of work.

Matt fixed my pocket door and said "I haven't used my whole hour and your back door is off and needs to be fixed so I'm going to fix it with the extra time" and he did. He was great. I was delighted to find someone so talented and so honest.

Exceptionally well-done job. Estimate was quick and comparable with others I'd received. Doors were painted beautifully, and replacement of my existing doors (frame, sill, doors, and installation of a new deadbolt) went quickly. Very little touch-up painting was required on the existing molding they reinstalled. They even adjusted several other door handles in my home that were upside down so all were consistent, and fixed the front door handle that wasn't installed correctly. I could not possibly have been happier with the job.

Great. Lloyd had a cancellation and was able to come out right away. He arrived on time, took a look at the slider, and fixed it. He "fine tuned" the screen door and gave me a recommendation should I decided to replace it.
