Wish i had checked reviews before i went with Vu. poor communicator - impossible to negotiate price, is very confusing - overcharges, gots angry at me and was scary for questioning price Overcharged by at least 30-50%. Run away, do not use his services, take heed from the warnings here

The work was terrible, but Vu promised to come back and fix them. Just like the other reviewers mentioned, he hasn't showed up since, no matter how many times you contact him or how many times he promise to come back. It's clear a scam he runs, so don't pay him the full charge until you are sure the work is done properly!!!

Gave estimate for initial clean up, $2100, did decent job cleaning but took 2 days to complete over a two week period. This arrangement included a 2x month maintenance starting two weeks after clean up. Never showed up. Complained about raining, son in hospital, etc. Called again and stated he would be out the next day. Another no show. As stated by someone else, use someone responsible and honest. Vu is neither of these, stay away from this guy.

I needed to hire a company to do the maintenance work on my yard. Vu came, gave me a high estimate for initial clean-up. My property was not in a bad condition, so I questioned him why he wanted to charge so much for the 1st clean-up, and he said that it was so much because they will be doing maintenance every 2 weeks for a very reasonable price to maintain everything the way they initially cleaned it. We agreed on the price, he did the initial work, I paid for it, and never saw him again for the follow-up maintenance. First few times he kept promising to come the following week, but later just started hanging up on me and absolutely refused to do the maintenance. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Before I could even explain to him what I wanted, he started indicating he wanted to weed whack this and weed whack that (no thanks and annoying). I explained that I wanted the lawns mowed every two weeks -- RELIABLY (my previous gardener was completely unreliable), and if that work was satisfactory, I described several more projects that I'd have him do. His price was good for the mowing, so I agreed, and he said he'd start the next day (good sign). However, the next day he was a NO SHOW. No call, no email, no nothin' (FAIL). I should have come to read the other reviews here first before wasting my time with him.

Stated that he would need to raise the overall bid to $2000, due to the large nature of the roots, gave him another $500 to hire more men for the work. Worked 1/2 a day with two other work-for-hire individuals. Left. Didn't return the next 4 days, giving excuses for each day. Son sick. Raining. Too much other work. Ended up hiring a great contractor to do the work. Completely unprofessional. A waste of time and energy. Do not hire.

He weeded the front, trimmed a few bushes, spread some grass seed, then quit at 2:30. He told me that he "sprayed" the back yard and it will be a week before he can finish. He never showed nor called. I called him and all he had were excuses why he couldn't come. This has gone on each week that he says he will come finish the job. Today he was "stuck in traffic" then when I called an hour later his "car broke down" He said he would still make it over today, May 7, 2014. I left for an appointment only to come home to find he was a no show again, call him and all he could tell me was that he would "call me Thursday or Friday" I finally hired a responsible landscaper and now my yard is finally done.

Arrived on time. Committed to a follow up visit - Did not show. Mowed too closely in some places. Asked for a tip?

The work was performed to my satisfaction in two days. A crew of 4 to 5 workers was involved.
