They were very knowledgable explaining what could be done and what should not be done to the tree. The crew was very good at cleaning up and the tree looks good.

We had part of a large pine tree fall in a December windstorm and do some serious damage to our neighbors property and two other trees it sat next two. Jean-Luc and Vitalitree came out and assessed what was left standing and gave us a fair market bid to remove the dangerous trees within days, without adding expedite or overtime fees. We appreciated his sense of urgency to take down the behemoths that were looming over our house so our family could sleep soundly through the following high wind events the last couple of months. Their work was timely, professional, and courteous to our (and our neighbors') landscape. In addition, Jean-Luc provided us with an itemized quote that included options to reduce the cost if they left wood behind or left the trunks as wildlife snags. This helped us afford the unplanned expense, and also provided us with an option to help birds and other wildlife by not completely removing habitat.

From scheduling with Julianna, getting a bid and having the work done by Jake and his crew, the work was done beautifully and they couldn’t have been nicer. I would absolutely hire them again without question.

They arrived on time and completed the work as requested. Very easy to work with from start to finish. They did a good job to minimize debris and cleaned up pretty well after they were finished. The price was very competitive and it was great to have one company do all the work.

Jean-Luc was very professional and provided a free estimate. He was on time for the estimate and explained exactly what he would do. He came out promptly on the day scheduled and completed the work. Also took all the branches with them. I couldn't even tell they were there until I looked at the trees. I would definitely hire him again.

Vitalitree was an amazing experience. They explained and answered questions during the on-site bid. I didn't have to be at the house while the work was being done. They took out 3 trees for me and while up in one removed dead wood as well! I opted to get the two stumps ground down and they ground down a third as well on top of it. Very happy with the service! Will definitely use them again in the future.

Jean-Luc came out quickly and gave an estimate to trim our pear trees along the street. The tree branches were overhanging the power line and phone line to the house, so we wanted to keep any branches from hitting them. He was able to get us a trimming the next week and the two guys were nice and explained everything. Very straight-forward, no nonsense. Thank you!

The job went very well. The dead white pine tree developed multiple new "tops" when the original was blown a few years ago during a storm. They did a very good job of cutting all the new "tops" in a controlled manner. As the dead tree was sitting at the center of 3 nearby houses, they have to be very careful not to do any damage to my neighbors' properties as well. They also replace multiple dead arborvitaes and planted new ones in place of the white pine tree. At the end of the day, they got complimented by my neighbors as well for how good the new arborvitaes are planted as well.

Jake and his crew did an amazing job! Delivered best priced estimate, showed up right on time, completed awesome quality work in less time than anticipated, cleaned up after and were super nice! Can't say enough great things. Would use again in heartbeat!

The owner Jean-Luc is not in the business of just cutting down trees. He provided his professional opinion on what trees were still healthy and could be kept. We had a tree that had a bug infestation (we didn't know) and he recommended taking it down because it could damage the health of existing trees around and create a larger problem. We appreciated his approach toward overall health of the trees and environment.

Assessment was done by Jean-Luc to determine the best way to prune the evergreen trees taking into consideration needs of individual trees for protection of the trunk etc. and how the branches grow and extend. Because of the arborist's knowledge of the specific variety of trees we were dealing with, I thought the job was done in the best possible way. All cleanup was done neatly and completely with a chipper and I even got to keep the chips.

Great! Jake responded quickly to our request for a bid and the scheduling of the job. The price was very competitive with other bids. The crew was conscientious, fast, and cleaned up after they were done. The price we paid included having Vitalitree cut the thicker wood into 16-18" lengths for firewood and leave it for us (unstacked). We will definitely call them again for tree work.

Arborist Jake Kreitzer was assisted by a crane operator and 2 ground assistants. Work started on time as scheduled. Tree brought down by section with crane assist. On the ground, sections then cut into 1-man and 2-man chunks, run through chipper. Total job time 6 hours. Per our request, trunk brought down in large sections, for harvest and re-use by Urban Hardwoods. Vitalitree service was on-time and mat all expectations.

Jean-Luc came out to give an estimate. He was very friendly and professional, taking time to explain the work and also to answer all my questions, many of which were about general tree health/maintenance and not necessarily related to the work we wanted done. The estimate was very nicely broken out by line item, and the price was reasonable for the work that was being done. Other estimates we received were either not as detailed (one was simply a number scribbled on a piece of paper) or not competitive price-wise. The work was scheduled for a Friday and we weren't required to be there for it to be done. When I returned home from work at the end of the day, everything looked great, the work was done as we had discussed the previous week, and the yard was immaculate - no branches or other miscellaneous refuse laying in the yard from the day's activity. Even though it was a small job, Vitalitree was prompt and friendly when responding to email. Would definitely recommend and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Vitalitree was able to send Jake out the day after I called to request an estimate. (Many other arborists couldn't book estimates for over a week.) They emailed me a bid promptly, breaking it out for each item so I could pick and choose as needed. Jake and Ryan showed up as scheduled and did the work quickly and competently, cleaning up after themselves well. They had a chipper with them and fed the waste right into it. We had a tricky situation where a laurel hedge that provides a screen between our neighbors deck and ours had to be trimmed. Due to the way the laurel had grown, they were able to preserve some of the green between us while removing the material necessary to prevent rodents from gaining access to our roof. I appreciated having friendly, skilled, bonded, and insured professionals doing this work. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again!

They did a really good job and he really knew his stuff. They were very careful taking the tree down. It was in a very back corner of the yard and about 60ft tall. He correctly diagnosed the issues with the tree as well. Jean-Luc and his crew did an exceptional job.

The service went great--I did not need to be onsite for them to work. I simply came home from work and had much more sunlight making it into my front yard. There was no mess other than some cedar-shavings around where the pine tree was removed.

They were prompt in coming out for an estimate and fitted me into their schedule when I requested an early date. The work was done in the time they discussed and the clean up was very good. All very professional. I would use them again?.and will probably have to , the rate the trees are growing now.

They were awesome. They were great. They explained things to us, showed what was going on, what the prices would be like and what the criteria were for trimming and removing trees.

These guys did great work. Drew gave me an accurate estimate, and he and the crew showed up on time and were friendly, considerate and efficient. Their prices were very good I think for the amount of work and the difficulty factor (some very tall trees on a big slope.) I thought they had good knowledge of trees - they understood how to trim a tree and still make it look good and stay healthy, how to remove trees without disturbing the stability of the ground etc.) The crew also understood that I had difficult neighbors and was careful not to do anything which would upset them. They did a great job cleaning up as if they had never been there. They sent someone out the next week to grind out a stump (my mistake, I had forgotten to request the work) and that really made me happy because they sure weren't obligated to do it.. My only (small) complaint was my initial email didn't get a response but when I called and left a message I did get a call back within a couple of days. I was very pleased with the results and I will definitely use them again.

Found Vitalitree and emailed them to schedule an estimate. Jean-Luc emailed back very soon after my initial email. We set up a time for noon on Monday and he got here a little early which worked for me. He identified what my tree actually was in the front yard and also suggested removing a few branches on the cedar which I agreed with. He also identified a bush we had on our property and suggested when in the year it would be good to cut it back. Jean-Luc was super nice and very easy to work with. They showed up on time to prune the trees and it all looks great.

Jean-Luc was very easy to work with. He was able to come give an estimate quickly and do the work shortly after. The cost was reasonable, the work was great, and he cleaned up so well you can't tell work was just done.

We called a couple of times before hearing back from the owner Jean Luc. He was a little hard to get a hold of but makes sense if he's up in the trees and cutting something down. When he did call back he was very professional and made an effort to come out to give us an estimate as soon as he could, which was in a week. When he came out, he took the time to explain why it was good to take out some trees and what trees we should keep an eye on in the futures. I learned that Douglas fir trees have very shallow roots and not the best kind of trees to have close to your home as they can fall over if the ground gets really saturated from heavy rains. He also gave us options to the price down. It was overall a great experience. I'm glad we kept trying to reach him.
