Visions Landscape

Dear Angie's List, I would like to tell you about my wonderful landscaper, Matt Kearney, owner of Visions Landscaping. We have been working together for the past four plus years. I am always amazed at his knowledge of plants and his ideas for proper plant placement and care. His recommendations have made my front and back gardens an absolute oasis. I I have working with many different gardeners/landscapers in the past and have become frustrated with them because they never did what I wanted. They were only interested in doing my gardens their way. Matt is not like that. He makes wonderful suggestions and if I want something specific, he will either do it the way I want or tell me why that particular plant won't work in a particular place. He has transplanted several small trees and shrubs that weren't thriving because of the location in the yard. (Where another gardener put them without any thought). Those plants are now growing and blooming like I've never seen. I was ready to pull them out and throw them away. My automatic sprinkler system had not worked consistently for a number of years and the water feature/fountain needed a new pump. Matt took care of both problems. Now I'm not holding the hose watering the plants and the water feature is working again. (He cleaned it thoroughly while he had it apart and keeps it clean throughout the year.) Matt is very creative with design ideas for retaining walls and walkways as well. The parking strip in front of the house had been a seasonally muddy mess for quite some time. It's are hard place to water and it doesn't get much sunlight. Matt's idea was to place unique stepping stones surrounded by hardy, drought resistant plants that need virtually no care. It's much easier to get out of the car now that there's no mud. Matt takes care of my weekly or bi-weekly maintenance and keeps my gardens and yard looking like something out of Sunset Magazine. I would highly recommend Matt for any landscape or gardening project you might have.
