Urban Build

This was my second time using Mike. Previously I'd used Mike to do some small work here and there (handyman type stuff). This time the work was much larger, involving ripping out a ceiling, vaulting it, with insulation, drywall, painting and a whole lot of other work done through the house. Mike is the best contractor I've worked with. He's prompt, reliable, and very competitive. He doesn't seem to have a huge presence on Angies List yet, but he's number 1 on Yelp. The work was scheduled to take 3 weeks, and that's how long it took. He even helped me out with a few small things for free, such as fixing up my gutter. He also advised me heavily - giving me suggestions of paint colors, and helped me work out the most cost effective thing to do (including advising against work if he didn't feel it should be done). The quality of the work is terrific - no problems with any of the work that I've ever asked him to do - nothing needing to be redone, no areas missed - he's very thorough. And, there weren't any surprises - he worked with me to come up with a good idea of what I wanted, and that's how it turned out.
