Tree People

All work was done as expected on time, quickly, efficiently and professionally. The crew did a great job in avoiding several utility lines, cleanup and debris removal. Overall, it was a good job at a reasonable price. I plan to use this company again in the future to prune some large Maple trees.

5.0 star rating 8/31/2017 James cut down an 80 ft tall non-naive spruce that was an eyesore in our backyard. He was very careful to avoid any collateral damage to our rhodies and new apple tree. He is a pro and made short work of the tree with only one helper. He gave us the option to keep the rounds or haul them away. He did the chipping of the branches on site and was very efficient in all the work. Cleaned up everything afterward. Very competitive price. Great flexibility in scheduling and good communicator. What more could you ask?

We have a birch tree from one of our neighbor's yard that has been shading our garden for years. We worked with all of the adjacent houses to get agreement on how to prune it. We hired James and he was great! He was careful while working over all of the properties and did a thorough clean up after. Highly recommended,

I called Tree People when a large tree was leaning towards our house. James, the owner, responded quickly with a quote and he was able to come out and remove the tree much quicker than others I contacted. He and his crew were professional, courteous, competent and they did a great job of cleaning everything up. Tree People's prices are competitive. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs to remove a tree or a stump.

Tree People LLC were recommended to us by our neighbor. We were pleased to see this company also on Angie's list. James, the business owner, and his crew arrived at our house promptly on the day and time we scheduled. The Tree People methodically removed an overgrown bush (that had become a tall tree) growing too close to our foundation. The crew was efficient and friendly and careful of our property. As the tree was on the bulkhead in front of windows, James demonstrated his professional skills in maneuvering heavy tree limbs as he cut them one by one from the tree. The crew cleaned up and hauled away all debris to our satisfaction. The price was reasonable, and we would recommend their services without hesitation. Excellent job!

It went very well. James and his team were great.

hJames and his crew were great. Everything went great. We had a HUGE silver maple over hanging our neeighbors garage which was nearing the end of it's life. James' estimate came in lower than everyone else's, yet he knew what he was talking about. The night before the big tree was cut down they pruned our smaller maple and stage the chipper and equipment for the morning. The following day a three person crew came in a meticulously removed this large tree. Our neighbors garage never got hit with any branches as it was mostly done with rope work. The communication was excellent between James and his crew. A well oiled machine indeed. His crew was friendly and polite and we chatted it up during breaks. They took the time to section out my rounds so they are more manageable. They cut "slabs" and pieces for my woodworking projects at my request, which is something I'm sure other services wouldn't do. They definitely went above and beyond. They were straightforward, honest, and hard working. I would definitely hire them in the future and recommend them for any tree work. A+ Thanks James!

James is very professional and pleasant to work with. I first asked him for an estimate after watching him take down one of my neighbor's trees, as well as pruning their somewhat overgrown bushes. The estimate was reasonable and arrived on time. He showed up at the agreed upon time. He did an excellent job on all of the tasks, from trimming overgrown yews, to pruning fruit trees, a Japanese maple, a rhodie, a photinia, a cedar, and cutting back a large laurel hedge. He cleaned up very carefully, and hauled away the debris. I plan on hiring him again same time next year.
