He really knows what he is doing. He also climbs the trees without spikes. He is in hiking boots, so he does not leave penetrations in the tree trunks like many other tree trimmers. I like the way he does that.
Description of Work: He trimmed our large trees twice.

He was on time and worked quickly, finishing an hour before the 5 1/2 hours he estimated the job would take him to complete. He is a very pleasant young man and I had a lot of trust in his professional opinion about the job and what we were dealing with. No one else wanted to do the job for less than $3,000 and that was more than I could afford. I wish every person I've contracted with in the past could have been as efficient and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: Scott cut down a 90 foot Douglas Fir which was right in front of my house and was covered by ivy 2/3rds of the way up the trunk. Ivy prevents a spur climber from climbing the tree and allows only an arborist climbing with ropes or a tree company using a bucket. The only company with a bucket this tall gave me an estimate of $3,000 to take down the tree. Scott climbed the tree with ropes and cut the tree down in 16 inch lengths, which also included the main branches. He stacked all these rounds and swept the driveway. He then hauled all the rest of the branches away. Even though the tree was very close to the house, he cut the tree down without any damage to structures, or walkways.
