I came on Angie's list because there was a squirrel in my attic. I wanted to find a provider that could remove it and also seal off the entry point. I was given the names of 3 providers. The first provider I called wanted to charge me $100 just for coming out and then said that if was indeed a squirrel that they would have to refer me to another company because they only dealt with other animals. That seemed like a waste of money so I called Terminix. I spoke with Pam on the phone. She was super courteous and booked me an appointment for the next day. She gave me a 5 hour window (from noon-5pm) which would have been inconvenient, but my Dad who is retired was able to wait for the technician. No one came and no one called. At 5:00pm I called back to find out what happened. Pam apologized, but said she had no explanation. She scheduled a second appointment for two days later. Again no one called and no one came. This time I only waited two hours before I called. It turns out the local inspectors were out of the country. I'm not sure how or why that wasn't communicated earlier. So the earliest they could come back would be the following week. This was a complete lack of respect for my time and came across as very unprofessional. In the end my local handyman was able to do the job, but it really stressed me out to be left waiting. Terminix lost a customer.
