Tanks By Dallas is a family owned heating oil tank decommissioning company that has been in business since 1996. Tanks By Dallas is a small business in the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area. Tanks By Dallas also has a non-profit sister company called H.E.A.T, Home Energy Assistance Team, that provides unused home heating oil collected from tank decommissions to local families in need that use oil as their primary heat source.

Great. The guys were very helpful.
Description of Work: They measured my underground oil tank and vacuumed out some water. This helped me make my decision about whether to retire my oil tank and switch to another heating source or not.

Description of Work: They drained and filled two heating oil tanks. Both guys were professional and friendly. They worked quickly and only left minimal signs they were ever there (a small amount of sand on the ground). I thought they did a good job.

We had a planned appointment for the decommissioning but had to move up the fuel removal. Temperatures were extremely high for the time of year and the drums began to leak. Tanks by Dallas rescheduled as quickly as possible and arrived promptly. They were able to work around other contractors who were on the property at the same time. This made the fuel removal much more difficult for them, but they did a very good job. They returned when scheduled for the removal of the drums and lines.
Description of Work: Emptied oil drums and donated oil to local home energy assistance program. Removed drums and fuel lines.

Dallas was careful, competent and calm as he conducted an extensive search of my property to locate any suspected old oil tank. He dug test holes to confirm that there was no underground tank in the yard. His explanation of the process and the good news that no tank was found were much appreciated. Dallas was on time, calm and his work was very competent. The resulting report arrived on the same day the work was done. Had there been a tank on the property, I would have not hesitated to hire his company to decommission it. Many thanks for the great service!
Description of Work: Dallas Gigrich conducted a careful grid style search using a Shaunstedt and Magetrometer for the detection of underground metal to locate any abandoned oil tank on my residential property. (I bought the house two years ago and just wanted to double check that no tank was buried in the yard.)
