Description of Work: I moved from a house of 1890 sq ft to a condo of 1400 sq feet, about a mile from the house. The estimator who came out was very nice (Craig?) and supportive. He did overestimate the number of boxes. He included packing up my kitchen and some of my clothing in case I didn't do it, but I preferred to have my hanging clothes in the closets and the kitchen set up before the move. A friend helped me measure the new place and set up a plan for putting the furniture, so I had that ready for the movers. The estimate had been much higher because of the possible packing up. I had also packed up all my books, etc. So basically, they just had to move all the items, and no big appliances were moved. I also had a friend move my computer and TV in advance. The 4 men who came were very supportive and appreciative of all the prep. The only charged me for the $60 travel cost and $180 an hour....and the total time was just 3.25 hr. I lowered the Punctuality score because they arrived 30 min late, but about 5 or ten min after the scheduled time of 9 a.m., they called to tell me they were stuck in traffic. (The truck came from South Seattle.) Otherwise they were fantastic. I'd highly recommend them. (I got the company's name from another person who had used them for packing and moving.)

Description of Work: We contacted Super Friends multiple times by email and phone to get a quote on moving a few pieces of furniture from Portland, Oregon to Seattle. Although we exchanged several emails with different individuals at the company giving them the particulars of what we needed, we never heard back from Super Friends about the cost of this move and when they were available. Maybe this job was too small for them to follow up with us, but if so, they should have been up front about that at the beginning of our inquiry.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Super Friends for your next move. Jake's team was amazing. They were on time, quick and professional. They were careful with my things and even helped me corral my terrified cat. For the price, this is about the best bargain going. So worth it.

Description of Work: They unloaded two ABF U-pack pods and carried our belongings up 2 flights of stairs to our condo. They were awesome! Punctual, communicative, and the price was right: 2 guys, 2 hour minimum, and they got it done in 2 hours for $190 (including the 10% cash discount).

Description of Work: Jakub and his team did a great job! He was willing to re-schedule the move not once, not twice, but three times when we weren't ready as originally planned. The team was professional, upbeat and very careful with our belongings. They took some items to a re-recycler, some to Goodwill and the remainder to our new home. the organized the packing so that it was quick and easy to unload at each of the three stops. They finished ahead of schedule and the job cost less than the estimate. Would definitely recommend Super Friends Movers to family, friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: I utilized Super Friends for a 2-part household move from a condo to a third level apartment. The company had the capacity to store my items overnight, which was a major plus. The guys were extremely careful with my furniture and appliances, which included a couch over 8 feet long and a large washer and dryer. Not only were they quick and efficient, but they were personable and professional the whole time. For my next move, I will utilize their services again.

Description of Work: They gave me a heads-up phone call before arriving. They seemed to like working together, which helped speed things along. Each seemed to know what to do without having to be constantly coached by the crew leader. They were so careful with everything. My stuff got moved and nothing went wrong! Can't ask for better than that. Their original time estimate was a bit on the high side (I knew because they moved my same stuff last time, with more stairs to traverse) but that was understandable given the items I had listed. When I pointed out the history, they looked it up and were happy to concur. There probably are cheaper services out there but I'd be afraid to take the risk when I can count on these guys.

Description of Work: Punctual, courteous, and professional. We were extremely happy with Matty and his crew. They were quick to ask questions, and it was obviously important to them that we were happy with the service. If we have to move again, we'd look to these guys first.

Description of Work: We called Super Friends to get information and general estimates regarding packing and moving services. The gentlemen we spoke with cut us off mid-sentence, indicated he had a call on the other line, and directed us to the web site. He also indicated he could not provide general pricing information over the phone. Other moving companies we've contacted have been willing to have a conversation with us about our situation, give us a little of their time before having someone come out to our home, and have given us general pricing guidelines / info.

Description of Work: 4000 sq ft home's contents into 2500 sq ft home. They helped us pack and triaged our furnishings into our new home, items to keep and items to ship elsewhere. Scott was a great leader and his crew were very professional. Moving alone is stressful, but worrying about damage to precious items raises the stress level even higher. As the day progress the stress level diminished because they handled our belonging as if they were their own. I have utilized other moving companies in the past but no one comes even close to the service and professionalism this group displayed. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: The two workmen showed up on time to remove a complete bedroom set and transport it to another location. They unloaded the set and placed it in the new location. They worked quickly, but at the same time were very careful of my possesions.

Description of Work: The first estimate was a bit more than we thought we wanted to pay although they were asked to do ALL the packing and moving. We asked what we would have to pack to bring the price down to $1,500. They made a list of things we could pack - a short list at that. My wife packed a bit more that was on the list. They came on Wednesday morning at 9:30 and were done at 1:30. Thursday, they came to move at 9:30 and we were moved in by 2:30. Not a hitch. Great crew. Worked well together and reduced the price below $1,300. We added a tip to get up to $1,400. I would recommend these folks to my best friends and have.

Description of Work: SFM performed move of entire household belongings from two 10x25 storage unit to 2-story home. 400 boxes, oversized master bedroom furniture, large couches and mirrors .... all moved with great care. Scott, Drew, and other crew did a stellar job!
