The guys were running a little behind but kept in touch with me so it was no problem. It turned out that 3 guys showed up but I was only charged for two. They moved everything I asked from West Seattle to Shoreline and even helped set up my living room a bit. All of this came out under the estimate at $225. It was good enough that I decided to up my planned tip because they were so fast and friendly. Great experience.

We needed to move the equivalent of a pickup's load of furniture and household goods from two locations (a residence and a storage unit one mile away) in Oregon to a third floor condo in the San Francisco Bay area. The condo building does not have an elevator. We contacted three movers found on Angie's List. My husband sent an email to Super Friends Moving through their website. Jakob, one of the owners, quickly responded with a long email that described their services in detail. He also explained that Super Friends was in the process of opening a Portland office and that he would do the estimate personally. We arranged a time for him to come to do the estimate. He called ahead to alert us to his actual arrival. He viewed the belongings at both locations and then sent an estimate and contract within a few days. We received two other bids: one was quite a bit higher and the paperwork was sparse; the other started at a base price that was lower but add-ons raised the estimate higher than Super Friends' price. Super Friends price of $2000 was based on two pick-up locations in Oregon, two and a half flights of stairs at the Calif. end, and our requirement of specific loading and delivery dates. Jakob said they could use a small truck that they use for regular contracted shipments between Seattle and San Francisco. If they got a second load, they would lower the price for us. They did not get a second load, so we paid the $2000 estimated price. Clint, the driver, arrived early on the pickup day, loaded everything quickly and efficiently by himself. We arranged to meet him at the Bay Area location in two days. He gave us his cell number and the places where he would spend the two nights in between. He arrived early at the condo and moved everything in by himself. He brought a helper to watch our goods on the street while he was carrying things in. He re-assembled furniture for us. He also offered to pick up and deliver anything else we needed in the Bay Area during the two days he would be there before returning to Seattle (a service we did not need to use but really appreciated). Jakob and Clint were both very nice and were easy to work with.

Excellent. I cannot say enough nice things about all the guys who came to help us. They were professional, polite, and very hard working. Jakub is the leader, is intelligent, patient, and responsive.

We received an estimate promptly. They arranged for a temporary no-parking zone for their truck at our request for an extra fee. The movers showed up as scheduled and worked hard and efficiently. They were friendly and I felt that we got a good value for our money.

They were friendly, punctual and efficient. There was no damage to the furniture or the house(despite some tight spaces). Would definitely use them again. Their charge is $80/hour for 2 workers.

We were very pleased, from beginning to end, with the services provided by Super Friends on two occasions (March and April 2012). All conversations with the various members of the company were courteous and friendly. We had to move a lot of furniture, much of it antiques, from a condo to our house, where we stored it temporarily. The movers were very careful with the pieces, and yet they moved very quickly and efficiently as a team. On the second occasion, we were happy to hire them again, this time to move the temporarily stored pieces into the newly painted and carpeted rooms of the house. We also moved a number of pieces around within the house. We had a different team from the first move, and they were just as careful and efficient as the first team, so again, we were very pleased. We would certainly hire them again, and have already recommended them to friends. We felt they provided good services for a good value.

This was the best decision I've ever made when it's come to moving. Their pricing was reasonable and their responsiveness excellent. I cannot recommend these guys enough. They were on time, and handled our things with respect and care. They finished early and under-budget and were wonderful "excellent gentlemen" all around.

They arrived slightly early of our scheduled time and got right to work. They had us identify the items to be loaded up and then went to work. They wrapped each item and protected them with blankets. They were careful with each item and carefully maneuvered tight spots so as not to mark doorways or walls. They asked if we wanted to including more items as well as verified they got everything we intended. The two gentlemen were just as careful in moving the items into the new home, placing them where we asked and treating the furniture with care. We were very happy with their service, friendliness, and work ethic. We would use them again.

It went so well! We ended up having to reschedule the move and they were very accomodating - they brought plenty of boxes in advance and arrived just on time. They were really terrific - we hadn't taped up the boxes adequately, they helped do that on the fly, were very patient with the hassle of moving heavy furniture out of the way in the storage unit to take only what we wanted. They were very careful with everything - including helping wrap up pictures carefully. They moved the piano expertly and unloaded and moved stuff around in the new place until it was where we could easily access it. Even more - the bed frame had been put together backward (by us earlier, not by them) and Craig noticed, took it apart and fixed it! Plus, all three were very nice, very hard working, and responsible - I highly recommend them, they made our move so much better than ever before!

I contacted Super Friend by email early on Sunday morning. Didn't expect contact until Monday at the earliest. But Super Friend sent me an email Sunday by 10 saying they were working up a quote and would be back to me shortly. Wow! In the mean time a friend of mine volunteered to help me. I was embarrassed and emailed Super Friend and said the quote was not needed. He came right back without any irritation and said "Let us know if we can be of service in the future. Cheers" I don't know much more about their service but this contact will keep them on my list of go-to guys Thanks Super Friend.

It went great from start to finish.

The movers were scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m. At 9:05 they called and said they were running behind and would be there at 9:30. At 9:30, they called again and said they were having truck problems and needed to pick up a new truck and would be there by 10. They arrived at about 10:15 a.m. This is why I gave them a C on punctuality, because they were 1:15 minutes late. I can understand having problems; however, it would have been nice to know ahead of time if they were running behind, and having a moving time window is not ideal. I was trying to schedule the move around my work day and having to sit and wait at home for this long wasn't very helpful. The Pros: The movers were very friendly and careful with my stuff They did an excellent job wrapping up glass to protect it with blankets They at least called and notified me that they would be late...even if the call did come a bit late. The movers followed instructions very well, they took what they were told to take and put it where I wanted it when I arrived at the new home. I did have to remind them of one item that they almost forgot, but they probably would have remembered eventually had I not said anything. The Cons: First, the movers were extremely slow. Even walking when walking through the house and not carrying anything, each step was painfully slow. It's the exact thing I fear most when paying someone by the hour. They did everything they possibly could to make things take longer. For example, the bed was in 4 pieces - a headboard, 2 side rails, and a foot rail (basically just a 4x4). I'm in no way physically large or strong (5'8" @ 150 lbs) and I have no issues carrying the side rails by my self. One of the movers picked it up and started going down the hall with it, the other mover said "hey, wanna team carry it?" to which the first mover shrugged and said "yeah, sure" despite the fact that he could obviously move it himself, and there was another one still in the room that the 2nd mover could have taken care of in the same trip. Then, every trip they made to the truck, they spent about 4 or 5 minutes in the truck "packing it in". I appreciate the furniture being carefully placed so that it doesn't move, but it was a very short distance move and there's no need to spend that much time for each individual item in a 26' truck. They did a good job of wrapping glass, but even that they deliberately moved slowly on. They were wrapping 3 glass shelves (from my tv stand). Both of them started on a shelf with a blanket. The first mover used some tape to wrap it up, then instead of passing the tape to the 2nd mover, he kept it until he finished the 3rd piece of glass. Meanwhile, the 2nd mover was sitting on the ground watching him move ever so slowly. Individually, each little thing isn't a huge amount of time (a couple minutes here a couple of minutes there), but when added together, it ends up being a very long time billed at $100 /hour. Second, the reason I gave a poor rating on professionalism. After about 30 minutes of "work", one of the movers asked to use my restroom, which is perfectly acceptable. I said that was fine, and pointed him to it. He was in there for about 15 minutes. While he was there the other mover did practically nothing. He moved 1 or 2 very small items. When the first mover came out I could tell he was surprised that nothing was done, but he didn't say anything to him since I was standing the probably didn't want to give the impression that they weren't working. He left the bathroom door shut, so I took a hint and didn't open it for a while. Later, after the move, I went back to clean the house, and opened the door. He had clogged the toilet and neglected to tell me. I understand it's an awkward situation, but that's unacceptable behavior. He should have told me and asked if I had a plunger and remedied the situation rather than leaving it there. Also the fact that no work was done over a 15 minute timespan basically just means that I had to pay an extra $25 because he didn't take care of personal stuff before showing up. Third, when I asked if I could pay with a credit card, I was told they accept paypal payments. I said that was great and gave my email address. When I received the invoice, they had added a 4% surcharge for a "credit card convenience fee" that they had failed to mention to me. All in all, I was very unhappy with Super Friends Moving. They charged 45 minutes travel time between their place of business and my houses. The drive between the houses took about 20 minutes (going very slowly...they're really about 15 minutes away). That's 1:05 in driving time. The loading and unloading would have taken me and a friend probably 30-40 minutes on each end for a total of 1:20 loading/unloading. It took Super Friends almost 3 hours. And that was with me helping as well. I didn't carry the heavy furniture, but when I saw them start to load up something I could grab and save a trip on, I grabbed a load (kitchen chairs, couch cushions...that didn't really need to be taken separately). So while they did a decent job of not damaging anything and doing what was needed, it ended up costing $389 for a job that legitamitely should have been $250 (charged at their rates). I will not be using their service again because of the lack of professionalism and urgency by the movers, and I recommend you look elsewhere, despite the many positive reviews on here (which is why I chose to use them to start with).

Because of a little mix up, Gabe and his team were a half hour late. But it didn't take long for me to overlook that. Those guys really hit the ground running. After reviewing the 3 storage rooms, one of which was in a different area of the facility, they made a plan and started running. No, really, these guys really moved their tails for us. Because we were able to do some pre-move set up for them, they were able to fill both trucks in record time. After a 30 mile drive to our new house, the unload went without a hitch. We did not have anything broken or damaged. They were professional and courteous throughout the entire move. When we sell the house we are moving out of, we will definitely be calling Super Friends for the move.

This wasa great experience from talking to Craig on the phone to working with Scott and Josh. I will use this company again with any other moves that I make. They were able to complete this move in less than two hours and with the $50.00 off coupon deal the cost was great!

Superfriends Moving was outstanding to work with. The crew showed up on time and other than a lunch break, worked constantly, efficiently, and quickly. Would highly reccommend this company. Very affordable. Spent less than $1000 to have 3 guys and a truck all day including a generous tip for the workers. Will use them again if we need movers.

Heard back right away! They were extremely helpful & accommodating! They found the a box with similar sizing to what I requested that I could have had within a day! It was for shipping an item and they even quoted me to pack it all up! I didn't end up needing the box, but would definitely contact them again in the future! Superb communication!

They say moving is one of the most stressful events in one's life. SuperFriends understands this and takes it to heart to make it as smooth as possible. This was our 2nd move in a year and didn't know what to expect even though we were moving close by. Jakub's crew showed up on time and were ready to go. The crew worked fast and efficiently, while taking great care with our possessions and the traffic areas in the house. After filling the truck with the first load and ready to leave, the truck experienced an issue rendering it immovable. After trying to resolve for 30 mins, the crew quickly came up with an alternative plan. They sent another truck and transferred everything essentially having to load two times. Realizing we were paying by the hour, Jakub and his crew pre-emptively offered to stop the clock during the this period which was reasonable. The fact they brought it up without our asking illustrated they had our interests in mind. Due to the issues with the first truck, the first load wasn't unpacked until later that evening. With another load to go, we all decided to finish the next day. Jakub and crew showed up the next morning and we completed the move by the end of the day. If we ever have to move again, I would consider Jakub and his crew at SuperFriends again.

They were great. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the services. I will use them again in the future.

Scott and his crew were prompt, courteous, friendly, and conscientious. It was not the easiest move- a long trek down the dock from houseboat to truck in parking lot- but they accompllished it speedily and with good humor. His crew of college students were polite and respectful- they were a pleasure to deal with. I was unloaded into my new home with 'record-breaking' speed. I had not moved in 22 years and was dreading the experience but Scott and his team were the best- and also did it on very short notice.

We had a very tight moving schedule between Christmas and New Years and needed a company to unload us on New Years eve eve. I spoke with Scott at Super Friends and he was very professional and super helpful. He scheduled the crew and gave me his cell number so I could confirm our arrival while we were in transit. On the morning of the 30th, 3 men showed up on time and ready to work hard. They were pleasant, polite and professional. They handled our possessions with care and placed everything just where we wanted it even when we changed our minds. We enjoyed the experience and highly recommend Super Friends!

They were great. 4 large, polite, professional gentlemen arrived and absolutely worked their butts off all day. Got us moved on time, with no problems. Highly recommended.

They were great. We didn't have that much stuff because we had moved some of it already. But they moved all the heavy things and not one scratch on the items. They were friendly and the best part was that they did not cuss and have crude language. We would definitely use them again or recommend them as movers.

The two people were very hard workers; they were running up and down the stairs to get loads. They brought everything that they needed with us and they billed us the price that they quoted us. We were happy with them.

The guys were punctual, hard working, and professional. I would use again and recommend them.
