I called Super Friends Movers on Monday to ask for an estimate for moving an expensive and quite heavy Mahogany Audio Musical Equipment Rack/Stand. Jacub was polite and responsive to my request. He said he could have a team out Friday at 5pm. And asked "how would that meet my needs?" and I said it would be fine but if he could get a team out earlier that would be appreciated. He then contacted me twice during the week attempting to match a time he could supply a team when we would be available. They scheduled a time and came out promptly introduced themselves as Preston and Kyle, evaluated the route and piece of furniture needing being moved and began moving the Audio Stand carefully, with the utmost care as I had requested. When Preston and Kyle were finished they asked if there was anything else we needed. We asked them if they could also remove all the packing material that had come with the furniture we had moved. They happily removed the packing boxes, paper, cardboard without charging a cent more. Excellent people, price and service! Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.

I was moving from an apartment to a house about fifteen miles away. I had most of my stuff ready to go and by doing some of the moving myself, I was able to cut down on the cost. These guys were friendly, helpful, flexible (at the last minute we agreed that they'd pick up a few things from another place). Not only were they competent and strong-- they were willing to help us assemble things. We hired them again the following month-- and they were amazing, but that is for another review. They were careful with my things and not to damage the hardwood floor in the house. If you're a stickler for punctuality, you might mention that. In my experience, they tend to run a bit behind schedule, but they do keep you posted-- and it also may be partly due to the fact that not all moves are predictable in terms of time. They're awesome!

We used the Portland guys. They were amazing. They gave us a great quote and were super punctual, but then we threw in a couple of wrinkles, including two extra stops. They responded as if it would be their pleasure and made sure everything ended up where it was supposed to be. They were fast, careful, and punctual. Use these guys!

Based on reviews from Angie's List, I hired this company to handle my move on 1/19/13. It was quite a chore since I'd been living in my former home for over 23 years and was clueless about the whole thing. Based on what I was able to tell them about the size of my place and number of years I'd been there, they recommended the sizes and volume of packing materials and they were right on target. They also delivered the packet stuff to my place as scheduled. On the day of the move and in the middle of it, I made a last minute request to see if they'd be willing to take all my old furniture, tube TV, and boxes of books to donation centers (Salvation Army had problems with their truck and didn?t show). Not only did they agree to do that, they gave me a very reasonable (actually very low) rate for the whole removal, even though they had to make a separate trip to go back to my old place to do that...most accommodating and courteous, and thoroughly professional the whole time! Gabe and Bernard (plus 1 other gentleman whose name escaped me at this time) made my move bearable. I'll definitely hire them again in a heartbeat for my next move...hopefully not for a loooong time though!

Our move went extremely well. They were super fast and efficient - even our dog liked them (and he's really picky)! They even took our old couch to the dump for us, which was worth the expense in and of itself. We would definitely use them again for future moves.

Super Friends packed and moved our home. Jakub was quick and consistent in his communication, Craig was thorough in his questions to provide bid, and Scott and his packing and moving crews were stellar. Super Friends were professional all the way and went above and beyond in ways that I would not have thought to expect - as an example, I had to attend a business meeting as they were moving my items from our hold home to new. When I arrived, they had arranged boxes in each appropriate room, left walk-ways for easy access, and arranged both indoor and outdoor furniture logically. Most critically, from my request for estimate through final follow up email from them, each individual involved was courteous, forthright, friendly and consummately professional. I recommend them and will use them again. Kudos and many thanks to the entire team!

Beautifully! They were on time, friendly, efficient and handled our goods with care. Placing the material in the storage area was especially challenging, but they did it. We used them before and certainly will again.

I am so happy I hired Super Friends to complete our move to a new house! We were scheduled for an afternoon move as they had another job booked that morning. Gabe called an update on arrival mid-morning, and then again when they were on their way. I was very impressed with the care taken with our furniture - the piano, china cabinet hide a bed and all other fragile items were meticulously wrapped and carefully moved. The crew was equally careful when moving the items into the house as well, and all the boxes made their way to the appropriate rooms of the house as marked. Super Freinds made our move as painless as it could have possibly been!

Absolutely only positives for Super Friends moving. Good initial contact with appropriate follow ups and contact up to actual move date. Quick response to online questions. Came with emough vans (2) to do job, but when it turned out the second wasn't needed, sent back without charge. Good competent efficient crew. Totally polite and responsive to concerns. Suggested cash discount at time of payment and allowed time to furnish cash. Furniture disassembly and reassembly accomplished quickly and without problems. No breakage. Very very good.

The guys were a little late but they called and that was fine. They also wanted to make sure they were bringing enough boxes, and I'm glad they called because their original thoughts wouldn't have been enough! (We still could've used more of the small size.) They were very courteous and professional -- we had an enjoyable time packing and chatting (which I needed to keep me calm) and they followed all my instructions perfectly regarding what went where of the existing packed boxes. At the new house, they put down furniture pads to keep the carpets clean as they moved my belongings in. They even helped remove my tv from its wall mount and helped me figure out how to turn on the pilot light for my new gas fireplace! While I don't ever want to have to move again, I'd use their services if I did and I'd recommend them in a second to others. The price was also less than I had estimated, helping my budget tremendously!

December 29, 2012 We had Super Friends Moving move our furniture to our new home today, and were delighted with their service. We had some initial problems communicating with the person at Super Friends Moving who handled scheduling for the move. He said he was emailing us, but I didn?t get the emails ? maybe because of my spam filter. It was difficult to get through to Super Friends Moving on the phone. The 5 men who did the move were great. They worked consistently, and seemed to have a great deal of expertise in technical aspects of moving. I was really impressed that throughout the day, I never heard anything drop, or any object that was being moved bump into a doorway. They also were cheery and friendly. Also, they were very easy to negotiate with. Over the course of the day we needed to clarify several things (e.g. where a chair should go in the new house, which items should be left at the old house), and we changed our minds a few times, asking the workers to reverse something they had just done. All of them handled all this very well. If they were irritated by anything we said, they certainly didn?t show it. I have no expertise in the economics of moving, but I felt that the amount they charged for moving us was fair. Overall, I would rate the quality of the move as an ?A?. I will definitely retain Super Friends Moving if I need to move sometime in the future.

The process from their arrival to unloading my furniture was seamless. The guys at the move were friendly and knew what they were doing and they were fast about doing it. Nothing but good things to say. Everything arrived to the new house exactly as it had left. Would highly recommend to anyone.

A team of 3 people came on time, as scheduled and ready to work. We did a quick walkthrough. They were very professional and observant. They worked very effeciently as a team. I would definitly call them again.

After consulting Angie's List, I found Super Friends Moving in Portland, OR. They were able to respond to my call for help quickly at a reasonable price. I was impressed by how adroitly and professionally two skinny young men handled a bulky 300 lb. vanity safely moving it up a twisty flight of stairs. This takes smarts as well as strength. They were conscientiousness, friendly and very strong. Who knew movers could have all these qualities? I will be calling them back knowing that I will be in good hands.

The movers arrived on time, and were fast, responsive and effective. They got the job done quickly, and didn't leave any marks on walls or furniture. And the treadmill works great!

Super friends workers were prompt, courteous, hard working, enthusiastic, strong, amazingly upbeat, efficient and careful. I was so impressed with them I would use them in the future and would highly recommend them You will not be disappointed. They are absolutely wonderful in every way.

Showed up on time, did a good job for a short move. Generally good job of protecting surrounding areas etc, though a BBQ was less than carefully pushed across wood floors leaving finish marks.

When Steve and Joe got there, they checked the sleeper sofa and the landing and felt confident they would be able to get the job done. It was truly a MIRACLE! It wasn't easy for them, but they got this massively heavy couch up a flight of stairs, around all the corners and into the guest room perfectly! Really couldn't believe they could manage. Not a scratch! They also got the kind of monstrous treadmill into the den and made that look easy too. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat ! Diane

I have moved many times before both locally and across country and have always had bad experiences. Super Friends Moving were amazing. I had to keep switching the move date and they did not complain. They sent Craig to my apartment ahead of time to drop off packing supplies that I had ordered on their website and he did a walk through my place giving me advice on how to pack and to let me know if i needed to get a parking permit for the street or not (did not) and to make sure their online estimate was correct. then I had to order more supplies and the owner, Jake, brought them by and he too went through my apartment with more packing advice. Both men were very, very friendly and sensitive to how stressful moving can be. Jake upon seeing how much stuff we had also added a fourth guy for free to my move despite that I had reschedule on them 3 times. That wound up keeping the time estimate correct - 5 hours. The four movers, Kyle, Steven, Jarred and the team leader Preston, arrived on time,having called ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. They were all very friendly and very, very careful with my stuff. They moved fast but safe. They were never annoyed if I had questions and when I kept adding boxes to the pile. They had to walk up a very, very steep driveway and did not complain once, unlike the movers we had when we moved in. They took extra care with my husbands musical equipment like I asked them to and packed it last like I asked. They told us how long it would take them to drive over, including their break time and they were correct with that. They then very carefully and cheerfully unpacked putting everything on the floor (3 floor house) that we wanted. We had put colored stickers on the boxes to indicate what floor. In retrospect that was a bad idea and we should have just written the floor in big letters. We had two colors for each floor and the guys learned the codes and when they forget they asked us rather than just putting a box where they wanted. It was a pain for them I'm sure but they never complained. Then when they were done, Preston made sure I checked each floor and all the furniture - oh they put the beds back together correctly and put all the shelves back on the bookshelves and put my entertainment center back together. no other movers have ever done that, he wanted to make sure everything was where it should be before they left. He realized there were so many boxes in the living room that we couldn't really get to the ones in back so he had the guys clear a path and reorganize them - so the kitchen ones went to the left and the rest to the right. It was hot but again no complaining which I have never experienced before with movers. They also never stopped moving. They just took the half hour lunch break. I've always had stuff broken and scratched on moves before and nothing this time. Everything was in perfect condition. I would recommend Super Friends Moving very highly, especially Preston, Kyle, Steven and Jarred. They also never asked us to help, which other companies have done. They also took back any supplies I didn't wind up using and took it off the bill. And Preston went over the charges very carefully which I appreciated since I was tired that day. They are great. Along with Craig and Jake and the woman in their office - don't remember her name but she too was very helpful and friendly.
