Super Friends Moving LLC

We contacted Super Friends early September for a move on 9/23. They responded very quick to our inquiry for a quote and sent someone out to give us an estimate. We confirmed with them the move date and they as well sent a confirmation. However, on the day of the move nobody showed up. When we tried to contact the owner, his phone went straight to voicemail. We then tried the office where we were told that they could not find us and that they would call the owner. After 30 minutes and no update whatsoever, we called the owner again, who hadn't bothered to respond to the voicemail message left on the previous call. Call went again straight to voicemail. When calling the office again, they now told us that they were trying to find people to do the move. Not they would do it later, but try to find the people. So we had to hunt them down for updates. Apparently the owner could be bothered to answer other people's calls, just not ours. Nice way of dealing with customers. When We still had nothing specific 1.5 hours into the whole ordeal we fired them and called another moving company who completed the job and got us out of a bad situation as we had to move on that day. Not so super these friends. If they would've bothered to be pro-active in their communication, let us know in a timely fashion what's going on, thinking from a customer perspective then it could've ended better for them. But not in this way.

They arrived in time, were easy to communicate with, were sensitive to newly painted walls, hardwood floors, and new carpet and vinyl flooring in basement. Not a single ding or mark. Would hire them again for any moving job, large or small.

When I first contacted Superfriends movers on the phone, I was given a friendly greeting and detailed steps as to how to get an estimate for my move. Once I submitted all of the proper information online (which was very easy), my estimate was returned to me within a few hours. Based on the glowing reviews on Angie's List and the company's ability to store my items if needed, I chose Superfriends. Jakub, the owner, was incredibly patient with me as my closing date with my new home was in flux. We had to be out of our home prior to the Labor Day weekend but weren't sure when we would get into our new place. Jakub was prompt to reply to my back and forth emails and secured our move in date on his very busy calendar. Our move out crew of 6 blew me away with how quickly and carefully they cleared out our 2600 sqft home (which included moving a piano and appliances). The entire crew was so professional and friendly (ensuring they shook my hand and introducing themselves when they arrived). My furniture was carefully wrapped and packed into the truck. When they were done, Gabe - the crew lead, totaled up my charges for that day and let me know that I would pay the entire balance after move in that was scheduled several days later. He sent me an email with that summary of our conversation before he left. Move in day was the Monday of the holiday weekend (friends and family were surprised we were able to get a reservation on the holiday). Jakub called to let me know that the crew could arrive earlier than originally estimate and asked if that was ok. Absolutely, I said! This crew of 4, lead by Brian, was equally as impressive. They too were speedy and careful with our belongings. These poor guys had to bring appliances and some heavy furniture down some narrow stairs and they manage it all with seeming ease. Our beds (including a bunk bed) and other furniture were all set up and placed where we wanted them. Not a single nicked wall was found. Overall, this was the best move I have had and Superfriends made what is a stressful time much easier. I would highly recommend these amazing professionals!

Super Friends Moving was great! I originally filled out the questionnaire online with my detailed info. I received a quote the next day with a detailed break down of all the charges. On the day of the move they called before start time to inform me of traffic and an ETA (which was great). When they got there, they did a walk through to know what they were dealing with. We both had questions for each other and they set my expectations perfectly. They brought 3 guys that were extremely nice and delicate with every box and all furniture. They took the time to wrap fragile furniture. Loading up the truck took them exactly what they told me it would take. I felt very comfortable with how they loaded the truck and the safety of my belongings. When they unloaded the truck, they made sure every box went into the correct room. If something was not labeled and put in the incorrect room, they did not hesitate to relocate it to the correct room. They not only put the furniture (couches) in the correct room, they made sure it was angled correctly and offered to put felt on the bottom to not damage the hardwood floors. They asked a few times if we needed help unpacking and went above and beyond to assist in any way. After everything was completely unloaded, they asked me to do a walk through of the house, check boxes, and make sure everything was ok. This was a great experience and I recommend them to ANYONE moving.

They did a great job. Nothing broken, professional and also generally likable people. There was a mix up on scheduling our move back in and my wife complained and they scrambled and got the guy who actually did the estimate to do the work. It was very appreciated. They seem to hire mostly college/grad students (who all seem to also be weight lifters...) but they do seem to train them pretty well. We did not use them for moving from one location to another - so can't vouch for them there. But our experience was totally positive. Would not hesitate to use them again. Also, if service provider is reading this - thank you for your help. We really appreciated your help and making it happen on the day of the move in.

I can't say enough to complement Super Friends Moving!! We needed to move out of a 2500 sq ft house & put most into storage & what we needed to live for a few months in a one bdrm apt while our new home is being built. The last year has been incredibly stressful as we prepared our home to put on the market. Our family lived in this home for almost 20yrs, so preparing to leave has been an emotional process. Of course we heard nothing but horror stories from friends re: movers. I was nervous & under lots of stress...... Craig from Super Friends came to do our in-home estimate. From the first moment he put me at ease with his& delightful sense of humor & easy manner. As we walked through our home, he made notes & asked for details on every aspect of our moving plans. It was clear he knew what he was doing & asked me periodically if I had questions or concerns. My stress level went down as he helped me know how to plan. Craig emailed us a detailed estimate that included details of how each part of the estimate was calculated & included a range of charges, depending on how long the packing & moving would take. The most difficult part for me was releasing our possessions for packing. Once again, as soon as the Super Friends packers arrived, their good humor & professionalism gave me confidence. They were incredibly careful & had all the special packing materials available to make the process efficient. They packed our whole house in 3hrs!!! I was shocked that it could go so fast. When they were done, they gave me directions re: marking things for storage so the moving day would be smooth. Moving day was smooth & efficient & it was clear that they knew how to insure our delicate items arrived safely, at the same time they moved with precision & ease. The movers communicated with us & each other throughout the move so we knew what to do & the move went smoothly & with a minimum of stress for us. Good humor made the process so pleasant & lowered the stress for me. The move was completed in 3hrs......even though we had to stop at our apt., storage & even dropped off a huge potted plant at our son's home! Amazing.......They really are Super Friends!! They are experts & we even came in at the low end of the estimate! We will be using their services again when we move into our new home...... it will be a pleasure!

Fabulous! Fast, easy, pleasant. Sorry guys, waited too long to remember the 3 guys' names, but I even enjoyed the experience. Professional, courteous, enjoyable to work with. They came on time, got right to work, continued to check on details, put everything where I asked, and absolutely no damage whatsoever. Cost came under quote!

We were very pleased with their whole operation. The crew of three arrived on time, took a look around to see what they would be moving and decide on a plan, then began to load. They were an experienced crew, used to working together, so they were efficient as well as careful with our belongings. Furniture was wrapped in shrink wrap, to keep it clean. They were cheerful, purposeful and careful throughout the move. The estimate was for six to eight hours and the move took six and a half. I recommend them without reservation.

Moving is a major headache especially because I work from home 24/7. I'm engineering consultant and work with clients in US and China. So, I end up working 24/7 trying to provide quickest and most accurate responses. Moving household goods isn't that that bad but with my business, it gets pretty complicated with all the equipment I have. I can't shut down my equipment not even for a day. Craig guy and I agreed to moving me on the Aug 19, 2013 approx. 2 wks in advance. I had 2 loading places before delivering to the final destination ... we agreed about 2 wks ago how it's going to get done. BUT he just totally forgot about me and had no plans to be here on the 19th. I called him early today and left message asking when the 2 trucks and the crews are coming the following day? Then about 8 PM, he calls and tells me that I am not on the schedule. I just lost it. I never used F word in my life as I have been a Christian since 19 years old. The F word came out of my mouth twice and my wife couldn't believe it ... well, I couldn't believe it myself either. I screamed and yelled and he tells me that I didn't sign the quote so I was never in the system. Wait ... I called him after seeing the quote. I told him that the quote is too complex and too long. I told him I would agree to whatever the payment is going to be and the move date is as what it was on the Quote: Aug 19, 2013 Monday. (I knew that I had to box everything myself to minimize the cost which we did for the past 2 wks.) I worked very hard to move my equipment myself and worried how long it would be down. In addition, I called him about 10 days ago asking for Garment Boxes. He said if he delivers them now, I will by buying them but if he brings it on the moving day of 19th, then I would be renting it for the day. So, I told him that it's no brainer that I would rent and asked him to deliver on the 19th. Craig Kalenze admits he didn't follow up but it's my fault that I didn't sign it. Okay ... let's think. He sent the quote in email. How do I sign it and send it back IF I don't have the printer or scanner ... or old people like me (66) who don't have computer? Phone call agreement isn't good enough??? They are disgraceful to Angie's reputation too. I contacted them because they have A rating. Well, I wish I can give them FFFFFFF minus minus minus. But Angie's list saved me because I called Adams Franks Moving and they called me back at 10PM and he will do it tomorrow so I am still hoping that my equipment won't be down for more than 2 hours. If Craig Kallenze walks into your house for quotation, ask him to leave and get another person. Or, make the appointment with him for next day so he won't forget. Horrible horrible experience ... I'm disappointed in him but more on me for totally losing my cool and using F word I really never used since 19 years of age ... that's how many years, Craig ... I'm 66 so how many years I didn't use F word? You are good with mental math. You brought your company down. Shame on you!

Best movers I've ever had. (And I've had quite a few.) Polite, professional, on time, pleasant, and super careful. Oh, yes, and fast. Anything we wanted moved around or repositioned, or assembled, they were happy to do for us. No damage, no loss. Plus, they gave us the lowest estimate of three and actually came in under that amount. I wish I could give them a rating above A+!

The move couldn't have gone smoother. We had a 4-man crew who were very efficient, very friendly and generally pleasant to work with. They got the whole job done in about 6 hours, including reassembling of our beds and a second trip to move the fridge from our new home back to our old home. Note that this was a "large item only" move since we had already moved a lot of the boxes/small stuff out and had fully prepared all of the beds/furniture to be moved - if you aren't as prepared I wouldn't expect it to go this quickly.

Scott and his crew of 3 were efficient, professional and easy to work with. No wasted time and they knew exactly what to do for each piece of furniture and exercise equipment. They got my Precor elliptical trainer and Pilates reformer upstairs..no problem. They set up beds and placed each piece of furniture where I wanted it. No marks on walls or floors. They take pride in doing a good job.

These guys were great from beginning to end. First class, prompt, and professional. They care about their work and it shows. They came to my home beforehand and did a survey. They arrived on time the day of the move and were prepared, packing up a 3200 square foot home in one business day. Our closing date changed after they left our home and they worked with us to accommodate our move in date. Not one thing was damaged or lost in the move. I have moved a lot over the years with the government and was forced to use the big companies who always lost or broke something. Give these guys a try and they will not disappoint you.

Adrian and (I think) Aaron where really great. They were fast, friendly and very professional. I can't believe how quickly they moved. I have moved a lot over the years and I would highly recommend Super Friends Moving, from first contact to finishing the job they exceeded our expectations.

We used these guys before the remodel to move our items to the garage and some furniture to a storage unit. All went well then. Now the remodel is over we used them again to move all items back. After the first move went a little longer than expected (hard to estimate online how much stuff we had) they sent 3 movers and a truck. It took a little over the 4 hours scheduled. They were pleasant to work with and handled everything very conscientiously.

Movers (Jesse and Zach) were great - professional, friendly, careful and quick. They came promptly at 1pm as scheduled and the whole move was completely done in less than 2 hours. I was moving from a 750sf house to a 500sf apartment, so I don't have a lot of stuff, but some of it is fragile, and I appreciate how carefully they handled everything. In fact, I noticed after the move that I had forgotten to pack the contents of an antique desk with a flip down front that doesn't latch. They transported it so carefully that the desk stayed closed and the contents stayed in. Customer service pre-move was great. I hope I won't be moving again soon, but if I do, I will definitely hire Super Friends again and will recommend them to others.

My move was scheduled for 9 a.m. on a Tuesday. The movers arrived on time; I showed them the moving "from" location in my condo complex and the moving "to" location. There were four men, all extremely nice and polite. They began work right away and carefully transported all of my furniture from one condo to another in the same complex. All of my furniture is very large and very, very heavy. I am not physically able to move any of the furniture myself, I just sat and directed them and they were all very kind and careful. I also had a small storage unit at my condo that needed moved to a new storage unit at the new location. There were a few things in storage that I didn't want to move, I wanted to take them to Goodwill. The movers were so kind to load those items separately onto a chart for me as they pulled them out of the storage unit one by one. When they arrived at the new location they were so helpful placing and rearranging the furniture to my liking. I was so tired by the end of the move I gave them the key to my new storage unit and asked them to just ?get the storage items into the storage so I could close the door and lock it?. Later that day when I went to the storage unit to lock the door I went in and I was astonished! They had placed all the items in the unit so neatly and carefully, I could not have done a better job or directed someone to place the items more neatly or conveniently. The four young men who moved me could have not been more polite or efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and I would not hesitate to recommend this company or use them again. They finished the job in 3 hours.

This is the second time we have used Super Friends Moving in the fast 2 years (we move a lot). The crew of 4 arrived exactly on time, walked the house with us, and were loading items within 15 minutes. We tend to be fairly organized movers and had almost everything packed in identical sized boxes which helped with the speed of the move. Regardless though, the entire crew was hustling non stop. I was particularly struck with how well they communicated with each other and how polite and extremely professional every member was. We have one couch that was downstairs that took another crew 45 minutes to get in the house. They got it out in under 5. The only moves I have ever completed where NO DAMAGE has occurred have been done by Super Friends Moving (well one branch on a tomato plant was lost LOL). They were extremely careful of all of our items, how they were packed, protecting the houses from damage, etc. The cost of the move came in exactly in the middle of their estimate range, so there were no surprises there. Finally, unlike most work crews I deal with (movers or otherwise) you could tell they were aware of and respectful of the fact they were dealing with other peoples personal space and items. I felt they were giving us the same level of respect and treatment they would show in their own homes with their own items.

Very happy with this company! Very courteous and professional staff. They took very good care of all of our belongs.

Adrian, Chris, Delrico and Sam were professional from start to finish. We had to move completely from one condo and half from another, and get it all to Seattle in one day. They did a great job and were pleasant and good humored even with a few challenges along the way. I kind of hope I don't need to move again too soon, but if I do I would use these guys again.

The team was on time, courteous, efficient and beyond caring with my 84-year mother - AND the actual cost came in below the estimate. What's not to love?! A great experience all around and I would recommend them in a heart-beat.

They arrived on time, worked quickly, and had minimal issue. I'm super fussy and noticed a couple of small dings on walls/furniture but all in all they did a good job.

I sent SFM a request for a quote on an upcoming move. While SFM was not available on my desired moved date (I chose a date for my move rather last minute--less than two weeks notice--and over a very busy holiday weekend, so this is really my fault... many other movers were booked full, too) they responded quickly to my quote request. In addition to providing their earliest opening (a few days after my desired date), they also provided not one, not two, but THREE additional companies I might want to consider contacting to arrange a move on my originally desired date. Such great customer service is rarely seen these days, and while I wasn't able to use SFM for my move, I couldn't let their superb customer service go unnoticed.

I filled out their online form to schedule an appointment. I received a confirmation email only a few hours afterwards for the day and time I had requested. I was given a 1 hour window in which to expect them, they called about halfway through and said they were running about an hour late since their previous move took longer than expected. They then showed up exactly at the new estimated time. I had about 50 boxes and then 2 bedrooms and a living room's worth of furniture. In just over 2 hours they had loaded all of my boxes onto their truck, and wrapped all my furniture in plastic and padding. When we got to the new place they determined the best place to park their trucks and started unloading everything. I had labelled the boxes with the rooms they should go in and they asked me where to put all the furniture. Unloading took just under 1:30. In short, nothing was broken, none of the furniture was scratched, and all of the movers were hard-working and friendly. In the confirmation email it was estimated the move would take 4-5 hours and it took 4.5. It's clear that Super Friends knows what they are doing and I will definitely use them again if I need to move.
