Everyone was great! From the firsts interaction with Don - when he gently reminded me that my move was coming up sooner than I imagined - to the end when the truck pulled away from the curb. Some details - I had 1.5 trucks worth moving my three bedroom household in Bellevue on a local move to Seattle. The quote came in at about 70% of the price I paid 6 years earlier moving to Bellevue - so I feel it was a great value. The team of movers were very respectful and took good care of all my belongings and the house. The had a few challenges 9we moved a golf cart!) and the destination in Seattle had some steep stairs to get the hid-abed down! I was very happy and recommend them. This is the third move that I have made using a moving company - and they are by far the best.

The experience was great on the Seattle end, but it was not as great on the San Francisco end. They contracted the work out so the work on the San Francisco end was not City Moving guys. City Moving was great. They were very helpful and responsive.

I was relocated from NY to Seattle in 2007 for a job and my company arranged the movers. They hired City Moving Systems and while I'm not sure how much they cost, the move was completely hassle free and well managed. Not only was I moving my apartment but I also shipped a car. They held both the car and apartment contents for about a week after getting to Seattle as I wasn't yet settled in and when they delivered everything there were no complaints from me. I received every box and everything was in good shape. I recently contacted them for an estimate for my next move (to SF) and from what I can tell based on other estimates, they are on the higher end of the cost scale. However, the gentleman who came to provide the estimate was meticulous, left no stone unturned and I know if I use them, there will be no "additional" costs when they get to San Francisco...in fact it's possible my actual cost may come in less.

To provide some context of our move, we have a typical 2200 square foot two-story suburban home with nothing that falls way outside the norm. The team of four individuals arrived at the appointed time, surveyed the work to be done, and got right to it. About two hours into the first day, the job supervisor stopped by to ensure that we were satisfied with how everything was going and to ask the crew the same thing. It was reassuring to know that someone outside of the on site crew was available to be contacted in the event that something went awry. They finished up on the first day at about 4:00 and said that they'd return at about 8:30 AM on the next day. Again the team arrived right on time and got directly to work. They completed their work at about 2:30 on day two, cleaned up their debris, and politely went on their way. We are now in Connecticut and have unpacked approximately 75 percent of our items and have experienced zero damage or breakage. I credit this to the quality of work done by the City Moving packing crew as well as the loaders and driver who were employed by a different organization. We were completely satisfied with City Moving Systems and would use them again for a future move.
