Stop Bugging Me Pest Control

Found underground bees nest on Monday 6/29. Unfortunately it was after 6pm and Stop Bugging Me was closed for the day. I needed the nest treated ASAP because we were having people over in a few days. I purchased the $99 bee/wasp treatment that night on Angie's List and called first thing Tuesday 6/30. Was able to get appointment for 7/1! Technician came (we weren't home, it was outside) and bees haven't returned. Pros: -Did not have to be home for outside bee nest treatment. NOTE: We left a note & yard map of where the nest is for technician. He called to say that it was really helpful... do people not do this if they're not going to be home??? -Treatment is warranted through the rest of calendar year. This is a nice touch in case the first treatment didn't work (ours did) Cons: -Beware! Tax/fees of about $10 is NOT included in the Angie's List coupon for bee/wasp treatment. While not a dealbreaker, i'm sure they can find a way to include this online.

They were fantastic. They had great customer service. They based their service on each individual situation, there's not a set format. This company is really going to go places. They have an exceptional culture. All their employees love to work.

Gentleman showed up on time and went to work. Came back to the door when he was finished and I gave him a check for $9.40 which was the sales tax on the $99.00 I had already paid. Spraying helped, but still have a lot of ants around the patio area in back. When we have replaced the old shed in the back of the house we will look into having something more comprehensive done.

Technician showed up with very unprofessional and poor attitude. Did minimal work, showed zero enthusiasm, complained that crawling under my house got his gloves and pants wet. He found one small hornets nest and wanted to call it quits. We insisted there were other nests under the house in different areas so he reluctantly went back under the house for less than a minute and came out claiming there were no other nests. Very disappointed with service.

The serviceman was very courteous.

Used Angies list deal for $99 bee removal otherwise would have cost about double that which seems expensive for a golf ball sized nest. They were very prompt, took care of the nest quickly and were gone within 30 minutes.

I responded to a coupon special for wasp nests. I signed up for the service and was given the provider phone number to schedule an appointment. This was done very promptly. I was given a two-hour arrival time frame, and Kyle showed up very promptly and took care of the problem. This was a very big nest, and yellow jackets are particularly mean. Unfortunately, he was stung right away by one of the "guards." (I'm pretty sure that he'll wear some type of protective gear the next time he encounters these critters.) The yellow jackets continued to buzz around the next for a few hours afterwards, and we had to be careful to stay out of their way. The poison that was used was quite slow acting. Kyle had told me he would return to remove the nest from the eaves. I just needed to make a phone call for another appointment. In a few days, when there was no more yellow jacket activity, Kyle returned to remove and dispose of the paper nest. He was very professional and I'm very pleased with the service.

Stop Bugging me is absolutely fantastic!! I bought one of the big deals from the website and the provider responded in less than 24 hours and on a Sunday!! I literally couldn't believe it. He had me scheduled in less than 5 minutes and we only waited 2-3 days for service. The service tech came out and was awesome. He was quick and explained everything he did before he left. We were so happy we signed up for a bi-monthly service treatment plan.

The technician was prompt courteous, and professional. He took time to explain our options and answer our questions. Positive experience with this company and highly recommend them.

.The Assisitant manager came to spray t he exterior of the house. He arrives about 8 A. M. which we greatly appreciated. We have a lots of appointments to go to that morning. He was done spraying in half hour. he said, He saw ants and continue to say that raid is not good for ants. I know that everyone has family to feed, but they should specify- theii cost not asking for tax money when you ask them To schedule you TO come spray.

Arrived on time. Performed the service and gave some good advice on preventing future problems.

Very professional. I just needed to bait for ants inside, but felt I was forced to buy the whole package because the coupon applied only to outdoor spraying. So had to pay more for what I needed. Later found another vendor that separated indoor and outdoor pest control. Should have done that.

Person was friendly and punctual. Everything was completed as expected.

The initial Visit was good and the staff person was very professional and answered all my questions. After he left, another point of entry under the porch stairs was found by my husband. I called and the person on the phone was very pleasant, and said she would inform the service person who was coming for the normal followup visit about the problem. He did not fix the problem, instead told us he was there to empty the traps and that we should call a contractor to seal up the space.

Showed on time for both visits. Explained the process and completed the work. No sign of mice for over a month. We are pleased.

Treatment was applied and appears to be effective. The wasp nest was not actually removed as stated in the work order but I removed it myself with a broom. I am not an expert by any means but I thought that leaving the nest there might encourage the wasps to return. The service person did tell me that he would come back at no additional charge if the wasps returned but I figured removing the nest altogether would nip it in the bud.

He showed up, viewed the job and took care of it. All in about 1/2 hour. Made sure the area was safe. Kyle gave us instructions on what to do for the next few days and left. Very professional and friendly.

Everything went well with the exception of the tax, the tax should have been charged when the service was purchased through Angie's list to avoid confusion.

The technician arrived within the 2 hour window and greeted me with a friendly smile. He asked me which pests he needed to be on the look out for as well as explained the process he would take before applying the pesticides. I gave him a tour of the perimeter of the house and he set to work. After he was done assessing and applying he came back to the door and explained to me what pesticides he applied, how long before my pets could access the treated areas, about how long the treatments would take to work and any pest activity he saw while applying the pesticides. The experience was perfect in every way. I would recommend Stop Bugging Me Pest Control to anyone.

Very responsive and showed up on time. Thorough inspection and identified areas of concern that we were able to mediate.

The work was done very well, the follow-up promise did not happen. This is the second time this has happen with us on the follow-up. This first time they came and did a lot of work they left traps outside the house, we discontinued our service with them and they left the traps. On the second time they took the trap they left and did not do the follow-up, however in both cases there work was very well done.

The provider was very professional, arrived on time and found that the noise in the attic was due to a woodpecker and not rodents. So he removed the eggs and closed the hole that was used by the woodpecker to enter the attic. He also found evidence of rodent activity in the attic, so laid traps there as well as in the crawl space and in the garage. He offered advice on closing some gaps in the garage door. I was very pleased with this effort. The next week he paid a follow-up visit to see if any rodents had been trapped. There were none in the garage, but he didn't check the attic and the crawl space. The main reason I was not happy with the service was that it said pest and rodent. But when I asked him on his follow-up visit about pest control, he told me that it was only for rodent control. I was not in a position to check the contract and argue, so I let it go. Although our main concern was rodent activity in the attic, we had seen ants during the week inside the house and had signed up to get pest control work done under this contract as well.

The person showed up 45 minutes late, after I had to call the company and ask where he was. When he came back the next week, I expected them to try to be on time given how late they were last time, but he was late again! Yes - traffic exists so plan around it. Having to rearrange my entire day is frustrating and makes them seem unprofessional. Also, on the first visit, the person almost didn't have a tall enough ladder to reach some of the places. Who doesn't bring the right tools?? He was nice, but the experience was just bad and I would not use them again because of this. The rodent holes were sealed up fine so quality was ok.

We scheduled them to come kill a yellow jacket nest (in an old stump). Based on phone conversation, they agreed to help themselves into the backyard wth my careful instructions on where the stump was. Of course, it's pretty hard to miss the nest when there's a yellow jacket going in or out multiple times a second, so I wasn't worried they would find it. This was based on a 'deal' from Angies List. I got no phone call all day and looked forward to it being gone, but got a note when I arrived home that they couldn't find the nest. I think the real reason was that they decided the $100 wasn't worth the amount of work it would take (since there was so much activity. I waited for it to go dormant and poured a gallon of bleach on it, which seems to have solved the problem.
