Description of Work: Stop Bugging Me arrived on time and was very knowledgable. He spent time with my issue (bees in roof area and they were carrying out sheet rock). He explained the exterior treatment and said ALL signs of bee activity should be gone NLT 14 days. It was less than 24 hours and there was no sign of bees - at all! In one of my spare bedrooms, there was activity in the attic area (scratching). GONE 100% in less than 24 hours. I was amazed as there were hundreds of bees going in/out (yellow jackets). YES...I would recommend them and use them again!

Description of Work: We had a carpenter ant problem. The ants were probably moving their nests around but you can't tell where. I tried to handle the situation myself but to no avail. Stop Bugging Me had a coupon for spraying the ants so I tried them with great success. They are prompt, professional and courteous. The price is right and yes, I would call them again.

Description of Work: While technically they did their job, nice and professional - they came out set traps - looked for possible holes the rodent would be getting into our roof....sent someone back to look further when they couldnt find anything,,,, they didnt find any holes to seal the first or second visit. Prior to their visit, we set traps, plugged holes that we thought the rodents would be getting in. We feel like we spent 268.00 for nothing, and our first experiece with Angies list. We thought they would have been able to do something different than what we did for the money. We still have the rodent issue, we are trying some other things more ourselves - cutting in vents - setting bait and traps. As i stated, we just feel they should have been able to do something more than what we did for the money, they are the professionals. So very disappointed in Angies service and theirs, we chose them based on your rating.

Description of Work: Here's what they were going to do: Full inspection of your home to find rodent entryways Sealing off rodent entryways Installing rodent traps in safe and hidden areas of your home to eliminate any existing activity Advising on interior rodent-proofing prevention such as food and trash placement. They sealed up no rodent entry ways, and just put up a couple of rat traps. There were rodent entry ways, instead of sealing them, they just placed a trap next to them. Thanks guys, I could have done that myself. Easiest $149 they ever made. There's supposed to be a follow-up appointment that hasn't happened. Maybe they can add some value. It's not looking good so far. The next time I hire a vendor for Angie's List's big deal will be around never-again.

Description of Work: Chris came initially for the "coupon" special. He was prompt, courteous, professional and walked me through all the problems he found that needed attention. He laid traps for the rats, explained about their function and set up a date to return. Also gave me a very reasonable estimate for the next level of services he recommended. He in no way pressured me but encouraged me to "shop around" for handyman services if I wanted or I could go with Stop Bugging Me. Since his bid was so reasonable and I was anxious to be rid of my rat problem ASAP, I did decide to have them come and do the work of making covers for the crawl spaces and seal any places in the foundation that might give access to rodents. For that visit Darryl came and did the work in the pouring rain. He also was professional and efficient, got all the work done in a few hours. In all the whole thing cost the price of the special coupon---$149 and an extra $225 for all the additional work. I am very pleased with everything and it's great to now have peace of mind

Description of Work: Prompt arrival at the appointed time. Very nice and polite. Found and treated a location showing evidence of prior insect damage. In his continued examination, he found a very significant problem in my crawl space. If he'd not brought this to my attention, I would have even more expensive and massive repairs.
