Contractor's description and voice mail message is not consistent with actions. Did not return initial call within 24 hours and disappointedly did not show for our appointment even when we purposely set it so he'd miss rush hour and provided a "window of time." No call to cancel and no follow-up when I reached out to make sure everything was okay. Never heard from him again. Lost about a month in waiting around and finally contacting and finding someone reliable to do the work.

It went really well, Steve showed up and got right to work, a few hiccups along the way made the job last longer, but steve stayed until nearly 3 am just to make sure the job was finished and finished correctly! He didn't even charge me for the time spent making adjustments! Amazing service and dedication. Quoted me over the phone and when all was said and done he stuck to his quote, but having spent so much extra time on this project I had to give a little extra for such good work.

Steve was very responsive and professional. He came out to our house after dinner and, once here, explained to us what he needed to do. A really good guy.

Steve is fantastic. His workmanship is top-notch, he guarantees his work for life and his pricing is more than fair. He is a genuine craftsman and a very nice guy to work with. I give him my highest recommendation.

Contacted Steve 2 days before Christmas regarding a small welding job - my refrigerator shelf had broken and needed to be repaired. Steve indicated the job was too small to fire up his mobile service as it would be quite costly. However if I could bring the shelf to him he would repair at no cost. We were unable to connect on the 23rd, however, to my surprise, a little after 8pm on Christmas Eve, Steve called my home, apologized for the disconnect the day before and offered to come to my home that evening to repair the shelf and save my Christmas dinner. AMAZING, I am so impressed that I will sing the praises of Steve and Starr's Mobile Welding to everyone that will listen. The shelf had already been repaired by the time Steve called me on Christmas Eve so I do not know the quality of his work. However, that he took time from his family on Christmas Eve to call me and was willing to come to my home and make the repair is a good indication of the quality and character of the man. I will and do, HIGHLY recommend Steve and Starr's Mobile Welding.

I originally talked to Steve about the work that I needed to have done. He was able to come out and look at the job. He realized that he could take the piece in question and fabricate a new piece to match. We had an issue with trying to arrange a time that would work for both of us, because of his busy schedule. He was able to fit me in and get the stove repaired at a very reasonable price. He was also able to weld a missing piece on my wind sculpture. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to any one that needed welding done.

I had a couple of welds on two iron gates that had broken off. Steve drove his mobile truck out to my home and set up shop right on the spot and took care of both welds to my satisfaction. He even fixed a hinge I didn't ask him to fix but it was a good thing in order to match the new weld and make the gate more stable. He showed up on time, is easy to talk to, and cares about doing a quality job. I'd recommend him to anyone that needs this type of work done. Jeff

Steve was great. Short-notice, he was willing to arrange his schedule to accommodate us and to work over a weekend. After I emailed him photos of the bed, he gave a reasonable upfront estimate, over email. He then stuck with his estimate, once on the job. (We did end up paying him extra to do some additional work, however he cleared the extra cost with me prior to starting.) Steve has a work ethic, which is uncommon among contractors. I appreciate that he worked late to finish the job - without tacking on an extra charge. Too often, with contractors, a low bid is given in order to get the work. Then, after the work has been completed, the bill looks nothing like the bid. Steve did not do this. Our appointment was at 230 pm. Steve called prior to 230 pm and gave an update. He arrived a bit later than originally scheduled. However, more importantly Steve called prior to 230 pm, once he knew he wouldn't be there exactly at the agreed time. My experience with contractors is that they are rarely on time (often fail to show at all) and few bother calling when they know they'll be late. The fact that Steve called, and he did it prior to 230 pm, was a huge plus. I give my strongest endorsement to Steve and Starr's Mobile Welding. Steve did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was detail oriented, punctual, responsive, and best of all did excellent work. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work Steve did, and would highly recommend him for any of your metal fabrication/welding needs.
