Staged By Design

The bid was INACCURATE, i.e., it did not reflect the situation in the house, such as it called for a shower curtain when none is required (or even possible). It called for a barstools and a table and other furniture where those already existed. The bid was TOO HIGH. They had ballparked it at $2000 and came in at $4000 and there were no additional rooms or any particular reason for the vast increase. The wording is insulting. They "recommend the bathroom be thoroughly cleaned" (it had been cleaned by professionals gotten off Angie's List this same day). They LIE. When I called them within 15 minutes of receipt, they told me that I needed to respond the night before or they could not work with me. I disagreed and they said they had told my agent that; he says no and read me their email, which does not mention that. STAY AWAY FROM THESE UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE.
