It took a few emails to link up with Michaela, but once we did, everything said about her on Angie's list was true. She was very pleasant, a hard worker, and knowledgible. I met with her the first and second time, but after that I was out of town, and we communicated via email. She did not "get the job done immediately" nor did I require that. It was acceptable to me for her to schedule throughout the summer, and she did this largely independently from me. She emailed me "invoices" with summaries of the work completed. Sometimes the effort had taken longer than I expected, sometimes shorter. I think it all averaged out. As of today, I myself have only seen the results after her first two visits and not the final situation, so I must violate the Dos and Donts here. Our property manager says the place now looks much better, and reports that some of our neighbors have commented that it looks good. Michaela herself took a couple of pictures of one of the major efforts (mulching about 60 sq yds) and emailed them to me, and I think it looks much better. I *can* report that after the first two visits, the garden beds she weeded did look much better and healthier. Her hourly price had gone up since the earlier Angie's list postings, but she told me that up front. She was perhaps a bit high-priced for "just" weeding. However, since I knew I would be unavailable to supervise (and I don't know much about gardening ANYWAY), I wanted someone with experience. I must say I was completely comfortable turning this over to her in my absence, and relying totally on her judgement and experience. When it came to mulching the roadside bed, I think we debated how much mulch to order: I think she underestimated how much was required, the final tally came closer to my estimate -- so *that* came as no surprise (to me.) She had the contacts to arrange all this without my help, which was also a big relief. Ultimately, I would probably hesitate to recommend her for a simple weeding task (due to price), but would absolutely recommend her for anything more complex. I definitely would like to work with her in the future on more interesting gardening/landscaping ideas. B grades: Price (discussed above) Responsiveness: There was initially a delay in getting an email response from her, and then I think she changed her email address, so there were some times when I was getting just a bit anxious to get the project underway. After we got sorted out, things were generally OK. I don't expect instant responses from emails. N/A in punctuality: She arrived on time the first time (so that would be an A grade.) However, I did not require job completion by a specific date, so it is inappropriate to grade whether or not she got the job done "on time". Alternatively, as mentioned above, she completed the job independently over the course of the summer, and that is precisely what I wanted.

So good. I have hired Michaela before and will continue to hire her in the future. She is great at scouting for trees, coming up with ideas that wouldn't have occurred to me, and just being an all-around pleasant person to have around the house. One of our cats is allowed to go outside when supervised, and she is always careful to make sure he doesn't get out when going in and out of the gate. She is funny, smart, enthusiastic and always makes great suggestions. I can't wait to work with her again!

I really like her and I would recommend her to anybody and I have. She does a great job. I haven't gotten a bill for her last job so I am not sure if she has raised her price. She was very reasonable when I have used her in the past. She shows up when she says she will. I intend to keep using her.

She came over a week in advance so she could see the yard and we could discuss what needed to be done for spring.

She is personally easy to get along with. She works very quick and does a great job. She charges by the hour. She works alone most of the time and she just does a good job.

They were fabulous! They were detailed and on time. The whole time they were just so cheerful and professional while they were working. I really appreciated the fact that they were so easy to work with. I just liked there energy and I would highly recommend them.
