Responsiveness was horrible. They kept bumping us to the bottom of the install list because they quoted poorly and weren't making a big enough profit. Which resulted in us not having a kitchen for significantly longer than planned.

We recently did a $25K bathroom remodel. Everything went great EXCEPT working with Specialty/Versaille tile. We were driving through the granite wholesale district in Seattle and saw a "sale" sign at Specialty/Versaille. We met with Amanda who then drove us over to Meta Marble. We selected the perfect marble slab. Meta was very complimentary of Amanda - and she was the best part of the experience. Amanda set up some time for Specialty/Versaille to come out and do the measurement/template. Issue #1: Multiple no-shows for the template/measurements: Specialty/Versaille had three no-shows for the measurement/template, which cost us a week. We called multliple times - and finally the owner (Robert) came out to do the measurement. Because of the no-shows, we lost over a week. Issue #2: Failure to deliver the cut slabs when promised: Robert told us he would deliver/install the cut slabs on Saturday (before Memorial Day). Because of the template delays, work on the bathroom had come to a stop because the marble needed to be installed before the remainder of the cabinets could be installed. Robert's team didn't show up on Saturday. When we called him - he said they'd come on Sunday. They didn't come. We called, texted, called, texted. Robert finally called on Tuesday, apologized for the delay due the holiday weekend - and promised we'd see the installers by Thursday. Again, a no-show (and no calls). Issue #3: Mis-cut: We finally got ahold of Robert - and he assured us the installers would be there on Saturday (a week late). When they showed up (at 5pm, not noon as promised), when they tried to install the second of two slabs, it was mis-cut (short-cut) by an inch. The installers rolled their eyes and said "Another Robert project". They took the second slab back with them and said they would recut. Issue #4: Communication stops! We tried to get ahold of Robert multiple times over the next week. When we finally got ahold of Amanda, she apologized profusely, and assured us the slab would get recut and delivered the next day. installation was finally complete - 4 weeks after it was promised. We were lucky. They miscut the 2nd slab (again!), but fortunately - the saw-cut was underneath where the cabinets were going to be installed. The installers did us a HUGE favor and brought the 3rd slab (which we were going to use for our other bathroom remodel. Without their help (underneath Robert's nose), we probably would have lost the remaining marble. Our biggest mistake - prepaying for the slab and installation (the only part of our bathroom remodel where we did this). Huge mistake. But in talking with the installers - it sounds like this was Robert's MO: Poor communication, poor execution, poor attention to detail, and poor customer satisfaction.
Description of Work: Selection, cutting and installation of several marble slabs for a bathroom remodel.

Overall we had a very good expirence with this company. We had the same counter tops done in the kitchen and laundry but they gave us a choice of a different top color for the vanity at no extra charge, beautiful workmanship. It is sometimes hard to get ahold of them by phone but if you leave a message they do get back to you. It took a week extra to finish but we feel that it was not any inconvenyence that we wouldn't expect with a project this size. They went out of there way to make sure that we were happy with what and how they were doing the work. The tile setters were especially helpful with ideas and there work is beautiful. They cleaned up after each days work. We have already had many friends ask for their referral.
