Service was excellent!!! The day before Christmas Eve and they showed up on time and were able to fix the problem within 2 hours. Very professional and knowledgeable with Oil Furnaces. Highly recommend this company, the service has always been outstanding love to support the small Ma and Pa shops!

I have nothing but good words for this company. They are incredibly responsive, and keep our oil tank full and furnace running smoothly. They are knowledgeable and pleasant. If they have any difficulty with a task, they keep at it until it is correct. I wouldn't dream of using anyone else.

They keep this really old (over 30 years old furnace) furnace working for years so i don't have tp replace it in my rental.

It seems like a good family run business. They answered all my questions. I did not have oil heat before. They went and did some kind of testing on the tank to kind of give me the piece of mind that the tank wasn't on its way out.

We use Seelig Fuel because they are very knowledgeable in the industry and we can count on great service, with a professional attitude.

Seelig Fuel called me to tell me they were coming over to fill up my oil tank. They stated that they were trying to fill oil tanks while the price of oil was low. We have only had exemplary service from Seelig Fuel. They are incredibly responsive, responsible and friendly. They made sure our themostat was fully fixed when we were having trouble with it, even though they had to return three times until it functioned properly. They come by once a year to service the furnace, and they are efficient and only do work that is necessary. I highly recommend Seelig Fuel!

I've had them as a provider for the last seven or eight years. It's always the owner that usually comes out. I really like the owner but this time, they sent somebody else so that kind of surprised me. The owner does a very good work. The worker they sent out was on the phone a lot but I didn't check his work so I don't know. I asked my renters and apparently, everything was fine.

Everyone at this company was extremely friendly and accommodating, from the booking to the maintenance visit itself. Russ came out to the house and spent over 1 1/2 hours thoroughly investigating the entire system and walking me through what everything was and how to use it. It went above and beyond and was greatly appreciated. I have no doubt that if I have questions in the future they will happily walk me through them. A+ service.

It is always a pleasure working with Seelig. I have been using them for years and they have always been prompt, professional and kind. Any time I ever have a problem they are responsive and come out to fix the issue. Any time I call them I always speak with a real live person, which I appreciate as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

They arranged a schedule and with me and the the technician was on-time, checked out my furnace that had not been used for 6 years due to neglect by a tenant, and got it working. He also pumped water out of the bottom of my 300 gallon tank and the furnace is now running beautifully. The technician was very willing to answer all my questions.

First, we used Seelig to fill up the oil tank in the house we were renting. Upon filling the tank, Kay Seelig, confirmed that if we were to move out of the rental that Seelig would refund us the remaining oil and bill the landlord for the oil that remained in the tank. That is the reason we went with Seelig to fill the oil tank. Next, we purchased a home that also uses oil for heating. We contacted Seelig to fill our new oil tank, measure the oil left in the rental tank, bill us for the new oil and set up the refund/billing for the rental. We also were going to use Seelig to service the furnace in our home. We were able to get Seelig to quickly come and fill up the tank. Sue notified us that the person who would service the furnace was out of town and could not service the tank for a few weeks. We made an appointment for 3 weeks later to have Russ service the furnace. That day when Seelig came to fill the tank, we requested the service man come and show us how to start the furnace. Russ came in and was very helpful in showing us how to start up the furnace and even showed us a few other features of the furnace. We let him know that we were having Seelig service the furnace, but that apparently the technician was out of town for the next 3 weeks and that we appreciated him giving us a few minutes of his time to look at the furnace with us. Russ looked confused and told us that he was the technician who would be servicing the furnace and said, and quot;I don't know why she would say thatand quot; in regards to Sue stating that he would be out of town. Upon talking with Sue, she stated that Seelig did not have a policy for reimbursing tenants upon move out and billing non-used oil to landlords. We thought that strange since Kay Seelig personally clarified earlier that winter that was indeed the case. We called back to speak with Kay personally. These are the notes we took when we originally purchased the oil earlier in winter: and quot;They will measure the depth of the heating oil tomorrow both before and after adding 100 gallons. Ten days before we move out we should call them to have them measure the remaining quantity, they will reimburse us for the balance, and bill our landlord for the remaining amount in the tank.Their price when I checked December 3 was $3.89/gallonand quot; Kay made it clear that she had no intention of keeping her word from earlier that winter to reimburse us as tenants and bill the landlord for the difference in oil used. She also said that they failed to measure the depth of heating oil before filling the tank. However, she said that they would measure the tank and send us a statement that said how much oil was left in the tank and what that amount of oil was worth. She repeatedly said that there is no way there is much oil in the tank based on how long ago we filled up with oil. While we were extremely unhappy with this turn of events, we moved forward with the measurement and statement. We received a phone call stating that there was 37 gallons left in the tank (while that may not be much to Kay Seelig, it was significant to us). The price of the oil remaining was and quot;about $150and quot; and we would receive a written statement for our landlord in a day or two. We received a written statement, however, it did not reflect the statement over the phone. Instead, it claimed that the 37 gallons of oil was worth only $27 and change. The letter was signed by Kay Seelig. We immediately called Seelig and asked what was going on with this letter. Kay went to look up the letter, but said that they did not keep a copy of it. She said they usually keep copies of these letters, but didn't this time. We let Kay know that the lack of standard practice seemed to be standard practice at Seelig. Failing to be able to email a new letter with letterhead - they actually wanted me to go find a public fax machine where they could fax a new letter. Kay emailed the following to us: The heating oil storage tank at the above referenced address contains 7and quot; of heating oil. The value of that oil is: 7and quot;= 37 gallons $3.72 current price/gallon $137.64 Value of heating oil 13.07 Sales Tax $150.71 Total Value Thank you, Kay Seelig Office Manager Apparently Kay Seelig has multiple titles as the one on the previous letter claimed her title was and quot;presidentand quot;. At this point, we cancelled the service call and discontinued all business with this company, since they are clearly unethical and, at best, disorganized in their business practices. I would recommend that members do not do business with Seelig based on our experiences. IF you were to decide to do business with Seelig, make sure that you get everything in writing as they are dishonest and will not honor statements made over the phone. SUMMARY: Kay at Seelig committed to: 1) have the level of oil in the tank measured before and after the fill, 2) put 100 gallons of heating oil into the tank, and 3) to come out and measure the tank when we move out and reimburse us for the remaining oil so they can bill the property owner. The outcome of the tree commitments were: 1) they failed to measure the tank before and after adding fuel, 2)they put oil in the tank, but they cannot validate the quantity with measurements, so I have zero confidence they actually put in 100 gallons based on their other actions within the business transaction, and 3)Kay was dishonest about their policy, I have to assume this is a dishonest business practice used to draw customers into their scam. 2 out of three commitments were not honored/performed. Their fuel is the least expensive for good reason, in order to get their price, you have to deal with dishonest business practices and poor service.
