The service provider was a large man and the crawl space door was "awkward" (not entirely too small for him, but would have required some squeezing and bending). He more-or-less refused to go into the crawl space, stood at the port-hole door and "inspected" the space with a flash light. He then pronounced the space "without any water problems". I explained to him that the hardwood floors above the space seemed to be cupping from moisture and that the inspection report had noted some water damage to the subfloor and some of the joists, as well as vermin; he still wouldn't enter the space. He did give some advice about how to place a vapor barrier and commented on what he could see with his flashlight, but this is not at all what we expected for our money.

The service was performed with satisfaction and I was relieved to know I did not have a moisture under my home. The service provider explained his finding in detail and was very professional in doing so. I would recommend this companies services to all my friends and family.

I am quite pleased. They showed up when they said they would, did the job in a professional manner, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again.

Galen, the owner, came out and looked at the drain system around the outside of my house, and then examined my dug out basement. We discussed my concerns with water coming into the basement; and the problems that arise when my sump pump stops working (clogs or electricity is out). He told me the expensive way to address the problem, and was frank to say that it is not a guarantee to keep all moisture out; and he discussed a few things I could do myself to minimize the sump pump clogging as well as investing in a generator for those times when the electricity is out in the neighborhood. I appreciate that Galen addressed the situation with my house and my concerns in a way that offered options that make sense to me as the homeowner --as opposed to focusing on only selling the services his company provides that would address my concerns. This perhaps means no future business from me because the other options he suggested are things I can do on my own.

As it turned out, there was no water leak/seepage, and Galen was able to give me a very good explanation that settled the questions I had. There were no additional costs except the cost of the coupon.

The provider didn't walk around the home or even go into the basement for inspection. He was here and gone within 10 minutes. He wouldn't go into the crawl space because there was a dead mouse that I didn't know about. He said he doesn't go where there are rodents. I found this to be odd that he deals with crawl spaces and basements where things like this usually are. No services were performed. I am 80 years old and can't go down stairs because I am disabled. I didn't know about this but it seemed to be a huge deal to him.

I ended up not using the coupon because I’m not in their service area, but when I called them, they were kind and courteous.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. They sent an email to my Angie's List email and I didn't know how to access it. I called Angie's List and they walked me through it and then they came out the next day. I just paid the price of the deal because he doesn't fix what he found. He told me what questions to ask when I call around to get somebody to seal the leak and crack. He told me exactly what would have to happen to fix it because he used to work for another company. He said his company doesn't offer that service because it is very rare that he gets those kinds of calls. He was good. He told me what to look for and what questions to ask so I don't get taken advantage of. He was nice, personable, prompt and informative. He beat me there and waited for me.

Asked via email that my husband be contacted on his cell to arrange an appointment. They replied with call and a number. I responded back again requesting g them to co tact my husband. Still have not heard back from them.

He was timely, professional, knowledgeable and informative. I was given the information I wanted - to find out if my crawl space sump pump was working effectively and to ensure that the water damage issues that had been dealt with prior to my purchasing my house were sufficient. He advised me that I was in good shape, and gave me annual maintenance tips to keep my system performing well.

Seattle Superior Waterproofing called me back and were very helpful and informative. They are very professional and knowledgeable I would highly recommend them.

It turned out fine. The deal was for someone to come out and give us an estimate if work needed to be done. He showed up on time, which was perfect. He was really knowledgeable and very personable. He seemed like a really good guy. We don't really need to have their services because we have more of a moisture wicking problem than we do a waterproofing problem. It was nice that he told us that and told us how to fix it, so he was very helpful.

Galen did a good job waterproofing my basement. He installed a drainage system and sump pump, fixed a couple of foundation cracks, patched some concrete holes, and hosed out the basement when he was done. Overall a good job for a reasonable price. I would use him again.

We ended up not using the services however it was definitely worthwhile having them come take a look at our basement. He basically said that it was bad enough that he couldn't repair it and that we needed to talk to an engineer and somebody else so we did that. So I appreciated him not trying to fix something that he couldn't fix and that he referred us elsewhere. We didn't spend anything other than the cost of the big deal and once we called him he came out within a few days. He was honest and he was timely. We didn't have him make the repairs but he got there in a timely manner and he was honest about what was going on and I appreciate that.

All OK, Offered suggestions for possible future problems

I like him. I had a difficult porch that they had to go under to get to the crawl space and he managed that just fine and I felt very relieved that I was dry under my house. The vapor things were already setup and things were fine. But I guess that one more than many of the things that I bought made me happy. It's a place that's very difficult to get under and the people who did my porch did such a poor job and I gave the worst rating I ever could. They almost made it impossible for anyone to get under it. But not only did I learn that my house was OK but I also learned that someone could get in there in an emergency if they needed to. So he cn have A's all the way across.

We thought he would come over and tell us what needed waterproofing in our basement, but it turns out his company does not d the service we thought they did.

Did not determine the real source of the water problem. Suggested it was due to toilet seal . . . i hired a plumber to re-set the toilet, but that did not solve the problem. Had to call another service man who tracked the problem down to water pipe.

We were very happy with the assessment. They provided helpful information and advice, and we were quite surprised at how economical the solution to the flooding would be. We plan on having the work done at a later date

It turned out fine actually. He said that there were no visible signs of damage that he could fix. The up shot is, we are going to monitor the situation and we were satisfied with what we got. It went as expected; it was nothing superior or inferior. It was what we would expect from a professional service person. His behavior was fine; his appearance was pretty bad. He showed up disheveled and dirty. He had been working. It would have been nice to have an inspector to come out in a suit and refreshed. He was honest and I would trust him to do a job for me. I would use them again.

Galen is very, very nice. He was professional and payed great attention to my goals for my basement as well as making a realistic assessment of what should be done in my basement including pointing out current and potential future problems. He was a great help and even though I have not had the work performed yet (financial reasons) I do plan on him performing the work.

The service went good. They were on time, they showed up and did the work. They were fine.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. The guy came early which is not a problem other than I had another company so I had 2 people here at the same time and I really couldn't supervise it. He was fine. He told me what I needed to know. I kinda felt like he was wanting a contract to dig around the bottom of my house and fix things. I understand that's his job, to get business. It wasn't as professional as I would have liked but it wasn't bad. I didn't know what to expect and I just wanted information and for the price of the deal, it's good to have another opinion. Maybe I was just expecting a little bit more.
