Seattle Movers went above and beyond moving all the furniture and boxes into my new home. For this I have to thank Kirk for handling all the logistics of the move as well as Garrett, Leland and Travis for unloading the truck and seeing that everything was taken into the residence in a very speedy manner with no damage done. Would I use this moving company again? You bet!

No Dos or Don'ts about it. They were great.

Overall, everything was terrific. Travis and Timmy were on time, personable, friendly, and extremely helpful. All items were secure and unharmed, and they were in no hurry to get back to Seattle. I would highly recommend them.

Estimate was handled online and confirmation thru phone call. Moving team showed up on time. Accomplished the move under the estimate with no damage what so ever. The team was courteous, professional and very efficent. Would highly recommend!!!!

I was hesitant at first to use professional movers because of the cost, but I needed help, because none of my friends were willing to move things without an elevator. But as it turns out, it was SO worth the money and it wasn't expensive at all! The two movers, Travis and Vic, showed up at 8am sharp, very punctual. They were also very professional and courteous. I had packed everything I could in boxes, so that things are ready to go. They moved things efficiently and carefully. The two really hustled back and forth, but despite that quickness, they were very friendly and were able to make friendly comments here and there in between. They were also very precise in ensuring that the things were put in the place that I want them. The total time was just over 3.5 hours, pretty fast considering they had to haul about 60+ boxes plus furniture down the stairs at the first place. I would definitely use them again for a move!

I did have them for moving the furniture within my house in preparation or staging a reselling. They were just great on that. They were punctual. They were friendly. They were competent. They didn't damage anything. I have nothing but praise for them.

Outstanding! Found the company on Angie's List. The quote to scheduling the move was handled very professionally. Received confirmation via email plus a call the day prior to the move. Crew was great- they were on-time, efficient and very professional. All my items, including a VERY HEAVY armoire, made it through the move without a scratch. I would highly recommended this company.

I'm so glad I had professionals do this rather than trying to pick up a couple of strong guys or re-injure old friends' backs and ding up the walls in the process. They were running early and called to make sure that was OK; it was. They took exactly the half-hour expected to move heavy items from one room to another, some of them up and downstairs, and with a really tricky fit. They pulled the nails from pictures out of the walls so that they wouldn't catch on my couch. Quick, easy, professional.

They were really good. They arrived right when they said they were going to arrive. They worked fast. They charge you on an hourly basis. The guys who came in were young and they were running most of the time. For someone that is billing you by the hour, I was very impressed with them. They actually were trying to do the work as fast as they could do it. They did a nice job. I would use their service in the future too.

We moved into a rental house in October while our house had a complete remodel down to the studs. We used Seattle Movers at that time and they did such a great job that we used them again when we moved back into our house in March. Again, they did a great job. With our brand new walls and floors in our new house we were concerned with the little dings and scrapes that tend to happen during a move- not a single ding or scrape! They completed the job quickly and efficiently and met- actually exceeded- expectations.

Kirk, the owner, came over prior to the move to estimate how many men and trucks were needed. He told me if I packed and/or used my own boxes, I would save $. We rounded up dozens and dozens of boxes and did some preliminary packing. I especially recommend moving your own CLOTHING if you can -- you save a bundle on expensive wardrobe boxes. On the day of the move, we had 5 guys show up prompty. They were courteous and professional. There were two extremely heavy items, including an upright piano, which the movers had no problems with. They worked great as a team to get them on rolling dollies and moved the items without incident. My "complaints" are very minor: two large pots got left behind in the old house, and a couple things that were supposed to stay in the old house got moved. As I say, very minor! We were thrilled that although the forecast called for rain, it didn't rain. Nothing got broken, nothing damaged. What more can you ask for? In the end, the final price came to far less than the original estimate. Very, very pleased! I highly recommend Seattle Movers.

We gave them $150 down and got a 5 percent Angie's List discount. It went really well. Our initial response was that everything was fine. She is having trouble finding some things but I didn't label all the boxes right so that was not the movers fault. We also didn't double-check the truck. We would use them again.

They arrived on time and were pleasant to deal with. There were three men on the crew. They worked hard, and quickly, and the entire move was done in about 5 hours. It was a complicated move with large pieces of furniture hoisted into the upstairs and brought up a narrow staircase, which we had explained in the request for a bid. I remained present during the move. The house we moved into was 110 years old with original woodwork and a staircase. After they left, we noted they had gouged the stair case in two places. In one place, a large piece of the original craftsman woodwork was ripped off, and the chunk had been picked up and set on the window ledge! So - obviously the mover noted he broke a piece of molding off and neglected to tell us. There were also a couple issues with our furniture. Overall, they were quick and professional but really careless.

The job went really very well. The truck was due to arrive at 9am - at 855am the driver called to say they would be late by 20 minutes. In my book, that is no problem at all - I appreciate the courtesy so I am not left waiting and wondering. When the crew (Travis & Leland) arrived they got right to work loading the truck. Both were very careful with the fragile boxes and all the furniture - no damage to my interior or the exterior stairway. I had several large pieces that had to go into my garage for donation the next day and they moved those down as well. At the storage unit Travis & Leland worked very quickly and efficiently. They finished well within the estimated 5 hours. I will definitely use Seattle Movers again without hesitation.

This move went very smoothly. Received estimate over phone, we set date. We had to change date due to closing getting moved (Whee!) they were able to accomodate. They were early, professional and did a good job.

Seattle Movers/Mountain Movers was one of two movers we got estimates from based on their ratings from Angies & Yelp. They came in lower than the other but more importantly there was a sense of trust from the interactions with the owner/estimator. He sent the bid via email and followed up that way which was our preferred method of communication and evaluation. On the day of the move, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that in addition to our 1 truck, 2 man crew there would be another 1 truck, 2 man crew assisting since they were in the area and had a job 4 hours after ours started. They ended up making amazing time and coming in under the original estimate which did not have 2 trucks or that many men. It was awesome. The crew was professional and handled our belongings with care. Thanks so much you guys.

This is the second time we have used this great company. They did our original move from a 4400 sq. ft. house to a 2800 sq ft. condo. That move cost us less than the estimate of $1400.00 even with two trucks and crews! These guys are professional, helpful and careful. What more could you ask for in a moving company? I would use them again and refer them to anyone. This time we moved a few large pieces of furniture to an antique dealer's location, then delivered one item to our condo and then on to our daughter's place in Seattle to deliver a large couch. Everything went like clockwork. OK, I did give them a "B" for punctuality - just can't give ALL "As": but with both moves they were just a bit late, probably Seattle traffic related. It isn't like they were hours behind, I'm talking 20-30 minutes. That's really pretty good. Frankly, I was amazed at their prices, they are more than fair. In addition, Kirk is good on the phone and sends confirmation emails with the schedule and estimate. Both times we ended up paying less than expected.

No snags what-so-ever. From the first phone call to get estimate to the last minute paying them they were profesional and friendly. Their pricing is super competative and straight forward. The movers worked fast and did not waste any time. Very efficient. I must say we were organized and ready for them (they said so themselves!).

It went great overall. We found out on the Saturday of Halloween weekend that the flooring people could start on Monday. Getting someone to respond on a holiday weekend on the end of the month was very challenging. The owner returned my call within hour and we were able to schedule a crew for that Monday morning. They were very flexible with our scheduling throughout the project as the flooring project timing kept fluctuating. Estimates and schedule confirmations were sent quickly via email. The crew arrived on time each time, were respectful of our things and especially careful as they were moving things back onto the newly refinished floors. The crews were all very personable, hard working and willing to help with whatever we needed. The owner is involved and obviously takes pride and his business and the level of service they provide. Excellent job.

We were most impressed with the speed of the movers. The three young men wasted no time, but were in constant motion for virtually the entire 7-8 hours. We had trouble keeping up with them to direct them where to place the items as they unloaded them at our new home. And throughout the move, the men were in good spirits and actually seemed to enjoy their work and take pride in what they do.

They did a great job, nice people and they were very helpful.

Overall the move went well. I was quite disappointed in the estimate. I was quoted 1-2 hours. When I received the written estimate (after I had committed to use them and paid the $150 deposit) I learned that movers charge 30 minutes time each way, from their base to the moving site. As I explained to Kirk, it's not possible then for the move to only take one hour (which was the low end of their estimate). I thought the estimate was misleading and Krik should have explained this when he provided the verbal estimate via phone. The movers did a nice job. They loaded up everything in 15 minutes from the apartment, but it took almost an hour to travel to the condo (4 blocks) and unload. However there was an elevator involved, so I can understand why it was slower unloading. I was happy with the job the movers did.

We used Seattle Movers for a two-stage move. First we moved from our old house to storage units, and then a month and half later, we moved into our new house. Both stages of the move went very well. All of the movers were professional, courteous, careful, and efficient. They worked hard solidly from when they showed up until the job was done. We met two different crews of three guys each, a different group on each move stage. Both crews were great.
