Description of Work: I would very strongly not recommend this company to anyone looking for movers. They were highly unprofessional and even though we had a simple in-city move from Queen Anne to Ballard many of our furniture items were scratched and damaged which speaks to the lack of care that was given to packing and unpacking them. | |The most dissatisfying part of the experience is when the team offered to help me with wardrobe boxes for my clothes. I was planning to move my clothing on my own and saw that the boxes were very used. Not feeling comfortable I initially declined and then they brought the boxes up to the apartment. I should have trusted my judgment as I thought what could be the worst that could happen? | |As I began packing one of the boxes I looked down to see two condoms and their wrappers at the bottom of the box. I was so taken aback that I thought surely I was imagining things. One of the movers then came up and laughed and told me it was a practical joke and that they were "clean." I was absolutely disgusted and found this to be completely inappropriate and unacceptable. They were unloading their truck by our loading dock and should have thrown this box in the dumpster on their way in. It should have never been presented to a customer especially as an odd "joke." | |Also, when I went to bring the crew a cart from our building to help with the moving, they were exiting the elevator complaining about the job and how difficult it was. When you're paying over $1,000 for movers you would expect that they would not openly complain about the work. | |When my husband complained to the company they acknowledged the incident but wouldn't even let my husband finish his complaint. We were shocked by how the company handled the feedback. I would encourage other Angie's list users to seek another moving company. |

Description of Work: The experience with Seattle Movers was seamless. They responded promptly, gave an accurate estimate, alerted us about their arrival and moved our furniture with no breakage or scratches. Cannot say enough good about this company!

Description of Work: We were dissapointed due to the fact that the company would not come out to do an estimate for the move. How can you get an accurate estimate without seeing the house? They sounded great untill we called.

Description of Work: Packed belongings securely on 5/11/10. Moved contents of a one-bedroom apt. next day without breakage or damage. Packers and movers had an excellent attitude. Very helpful and took time to answer all questions. Would highly recommend this firm.

Description of Work: They moved us out of our old house into our new house. Our old house was on the high side of the street with no alley access and about 25 steep steps. Most of our boxes were in our basement, which was another 15 steps. These guys worked their tails off. They sent 3 men and a very big moving truck for $165/ hr. It was a very good deal, and they were so very careful with everything. I highly recommend these guys, they know what they are doing.

Description of Work: Moving my fiancee out of a 2 bedroom apartment in Issaquah (up 2 flights of stairs) and into my house in West Seattle (up 1 flight of stairs). The move included difficult items such as huge lovesac, and heavy items such as a large TV and some stuff had to go upstairs through an old curved, narrow staircase (that we've had problems moving things through before).

Description of Work: Mountain Movers moved me from a small 2-bedroom house with a basement to a larger house about 20 mins away. I already had my stuff boxed, labeled, and disassembled so they packed everything up the truck in 2 hours (2-guys, 1 truck). They moved everything, swapped fridges, and did a dump run all within 7 hours!
