The move went great. The guys were on time and super polite. They had us packed up, moved and unpacked in about 7 hours. They were very careful with all our boxes and furniture. This is the third time we've used them, and I can't imagine using anyone else.

Brady and Ryan arrived about 30 minutes late, but called to advise us of the delay. The guys worked really hard and obviously enjoy working together. Loading took three hours, unloading also took approximately three hours. We bought the guys lunch at Subway to keep the job moving and tipped them $50 at the end of the move. They did not do any packing, disassembly, or assembly (at our request), and volunteered to help carry boxes to and from the car for me. We'd use Mountain Movers again in a heartbeat... this was our second move with them!!

Very responsive and hard working crew. They were careful and easy to work with. Everything was up front and straight forward dealing with Mountain Movers.

I had never hired movers before using Mountain Movers and I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. They showed up and did everything carefully, courteously and efficiently. I would not hesitate to use them again. And they give a 10% discount to Angie's List members.

I had a last-minute appointment with Mountain Movers, but did not receive a confirmation email as promised. I called Kenyatta 15 minutes before the movers were to arrive and left a message. Called again five and ten minutes after they were supposed to start, but no answer. Distraught, I hired a U-Haul and loaded the truck myself. Kenyatta finally called and said his movers had called my number and been at the condo waiting for 30 minutes before leaving. We finally established that I didn't get the call because they transcribed my number wrong, and had been waiting on the other side of the building. Kenyatta offered to come over with another guy and help me finish loading and unloading the U-Haul for free to make up for the mistake. He was very nice and professional, and they were conscientious with my stuff. The way they handled the incident made me feel confident that they prioritized customer service.

Overall, they moved the stuff, but left one piece because apparently they overlooked it and two mirrors because they didn't think they could cart it safely. Also left some marks on the entry door. They were helpful about furniture placement in the house and did not damage our newly refinished floor.

They were prompt, did the work quickly and efficiently, and didn't break anything. The crew was personable and careful with my things.

It was good, they were efficient, quick and very friendly. It was a plus!

Job was done at time agreed and at price agreed (per hour.) We even got a 10% discount for telling them we found them through Angie's List. The team of Brady, Ryan, and John did a fantastic job. We were impressed with their professionalism and obvious experience. They took great care to protect our furniture and our home. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others!

Joe and Art were phenomenal. They worked quickly, carefully and cheerfully the whole time, even when they were tired and had to move many extremely heavy boxes and other poorly packed items from our storage pods. This was our first time hiring movers and I have to say that Joe and Art were faster and more efficient than a group of 6-8 friends in previous moves. At the end of the day they were more chipper than we were, I think, and they definitely maintained their professional demeanor throughout our monster of a move. With the Angie's List discount the price was extremely competitive with other services that don't have the positive reviews these guys have. I would recommend Mountain Movers again in a heartbeat.

On time and efficient. They accidentally tipped over a 32-inch TV onto the glass face. Slight scratches on glass, but TV still works. They apologized and took $100 off the bill. Despite that one mishap, I was satisfied with their work.

Overall was a good experience. Two of the three person crew were highly professional and clearly experienced and careful. The third man was clearly not experienced and in fact dropped three boxes marked fragile from top of the truck ramp -it was only luck and good packaging that the expensive things inside weren't damaged. I think they could have been more proactive about verifying the contents were okay, but they seemed a bit sheepish about it. From looking at other reviews of theirs and other companies I would expect that they generally do an excellent job - but they probably got caught short on good labor. Their prices may be about 10% higher than other comparable companies.

These guys were first rate. Brady and James were there on time and coordinated their work very well. Whenever there was a doubt about what should happen with an item they would check in, and if I wasn't available, they would take the safest possible path, which I really appreciated. I had the right balance of interacting with them while they worked and doing the million other things that go into making a move.

Chris and John from Mountain Movers were very nice, and efficient. They charged at the low-end of the estimate and were very careful with our furniture, some of which is one-of-a-kind custom wood furniture.

The 3 guys showed up on time, were very friendly and professional, and completed the job with one load in 7 hours, which was on the lower end of what they had estimated. They used extra care when handling fragile or easily-damaged items, and i noticed no damage to anything after the move. There were some pretty heavy items, which they carried with no hesitation or complaints. These guys worked hard -- the total included an 18% tip, which was well-deserved. I would definitely use them again.

We had 3 guys and 2 truck loads. These were the hardest working guys I've ever met. They only took a break for lunch and they worked for 13 hours! I was happy with how they handled our furniture. They also made it very clear that they enjoyed their work. It's clear the company treats them well, so they are happy employees. I highly recommend using them.

Good experience - 3 movers, 1 truck. Got moved with no damage. Started at 9am and finished at just after 6pm. Work crew was motivated and efficient enough, to get both loads to the new house same day. Polite, on time, had confirmation letter of appointment with packing tips and notice of what was and what wasn't movable by them and they were reasonably priced for the services offered. They can not move propane or open paint containers and knowing that ahead of time was great. They also gave us the Angie's List 10% discount, for mentioning where we got the number.

Overall, they did a good job, but we were disappointed in the lack of attention to the protection of our belongings and the space. Furniture was carried out without tarps or other forms of protection; movers did not wear gloves nor wash their hands before moving upholstered pieces; they didn't bring runners to protect the floors from damage and dirt. When we expressed our concerns, the movers were a bit dismissive -- ''don't worry, we won't bump anything, etc.'' Ultimately, the damage was minimal (our white chair is a little less white and there were some spots on the carpet requiring treatment), but we'd probably hesitate to use them again for this reason. In terms of cost, they came in on estimate - but we had moved a significant portion of our belongings ourselves prior to their arrival - nearly half. If we hadn't, they would have come in at twice what they had anticipated which would not have been a pleasant surprise. Not bad, but room for improvement.

I have never hired a moving company before and was nervous because I know there are some horror stories out there. I have only positive things to say about these guys! I hired them to move the furniture, washer and drier out of our 3 story townhouse into a 2 story, 4 bedroom home. The 2 men that showed up actually own and run the company. They were right on time, true to their estimate, very professional and careful with my belongings and were fun to work with. They had a good sense of humor and made this hard tedious job of moving rather fun. It was also pretty fun to spend the morning with 2 young, burly men. They worked very hard, and didn't waste any time. I don't want to move again any time soon, but if I have to, I'd call them again in a heartbeat!

They were WONDERFUL. They were totally professional, worked extremely hard, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

The movers were great - Ryan and Brady did superior work, and were professional and courteous. Unfortunately an item was lost and I have not had sucess with return phone calls from the main office. Grade for the movers - a solid A. Overall grade for the office - D.

Brady and his team were fantastic. They showed up promptly and were very quick to move all of our stuff. They bid the job at 5 to 7 hours and it only took 5.5 hours. I have worked with other moving companies who complained the whole time; not Mountain Movers - they did the job with a smile and were extremely hardworking. The contract sent by MM helped a lot, too, in knowing how to pack efficiently and get the most out of our movers. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

WHAT A GREAT EXPERINCE! The crew arrived at the promised time. They worked carefully and quickly. All three of the movers were extremely friendly and were willing to really go the extra mile. They were proud of the company and their reputation - something you don't see much of these days. I got a rough estimate over the phone, and at the end of the move, they were very near (under) the original estimate. I wish I had found them years ago!

They were on time, friendly, & efficient at what they did. The price was right as well.

It ended up taking on the high end of the estimate because I think the crew could have worked more efficiently. We've had excellent movers help us in the past, so maybe we are skewed slightly; however, it seemed like it took longer than it should to load the truck. We just finished painting the house prior to moving & I think they could have used more caution during the move-in. They explained that the townhouse was an issue, but last time I checked, there were thousands of townhouse units in the city & more on the way.
