I called them on a Thursday and scheduled a Sunday move. They were extremely prompt in responding to my email. Overall, the move took them a bit longer than they had originally said, but it was also POURING rain outside and the fact that I did not have to do the moving on such a day was worth a lot. The two guys who did it were extremely nice, and did all they could to squeeze a couch through my small door (it worked). They even gave me tips of what to do with my furniture to make sure it didn't scratch the new wood floors. The overall cost was just a tiny bit higher than what they had originally said, but it was totally worth it and they gave me a 10% Angie's List discount. They also provide the truck, which takes away any hassle of dealing with renting that. Overall a great experience.

I called them up and he was very responsive. They were very patient on the scheduling. They ran a little late. They did a good job. I am happy with what they did.

Two movers each time, both very professional and courteous. They were careful with our things, did not break anything or scratch any walls or flooring. Excellent!

There were a number of small items that were "loose" in storage and they did a great job of packing them all up. We recently had the floors in our house redone, and they were very careful about not scratching them. They were quite prompt and were very efficient. The estimate was for 4-6 hours and it took 5. They did a really great job and would definitely use them again.

Movers were 30 minutes late - not a huge deal, and Kenyada called me at that time to let me know they were coming. He sent three movers for a job that only required two, but I was assured that I would only be charged for two. As it turned out, only one of the guys was experienced, and the other two were new trainees, so it didn't really go any faster than if two guys were doing it. Again, not a problem in my mind. Here's the problem - these guys did a LOT of damage to my furniture and the residence I moved from and obviously decided to try and sweep it under the rug by not alerting me. I didn't find this out until the next day when I went back to clean my old house and found a large gash in the wall in the bedroom, and then I noticed three places on my Ethan Allen, high quality, leather couch where they had obviously dragged it on the ground or forced it through an entry way to completely take the finish off the leather (each spot is about 1-3 inches in length). I know it happened during this move because the couch has never been moved and was delivered to me by Ethan Allen, wrapped in plastic. So now, I've paid then AND tipped them and I got charged $250 dollars by my old landlord for the bedroom wall damage, and my $4000 couch is not repairable. Great. I can't recommend this company for a move.

They were great they did a wonderful job. They didn't damage anything. They moved some of the stuff with us to an apartment and some into a storage unit. They were very good.

They did an excellent job and I could tell that the crew, two of them, were seasoned professionals. There was a third young guy that followed directions well and was very focused on doing a good job. This condo association is very specific about move in move out requirements and they passed the test. The new residences was a single family rambler with a half story laundry/attic. It was a very hot day and the attic was very hot! I had a lot of books and boxes that had to go to the attic. They were very organized and very efficient and friendly. If I had only one negative comment it was my bed frame. When I asked about installing the center iron rod of the frame they said they couldn't because I had elevated blocks under each corner of the bed but said it should be fine. On the second night the bottom end of my mattress & box spring hit the floor! It would have been great if they would have told me that I should get rid of the blocks, but really I hold myself responsible.They did a great job overall and I have recommended them several times since.

Fine overall. The main guy that I worked with (Kenyada) was an hour and a half late to every meeting, including the move. Luckily, those delays were never an issue. I suspect we may have been the largest office move they've ever done. I suspect they generally do home moves. They didn't ask the same questions or take as detailed notes as, for example, Bekins did. They didn't have a certain type of insurance the building owners required. Kenyada and I had discussed how we could help them by labeling the boxes and such. So I came up with a system. However, when Kenyada arrived, I couldn't get him to discuss it with me. The estimate was for 10-12 hours, 6 guys. End result: 19 hours and 8 guys for some of it. Part of that was our fault: There were quite a few items we'd expected to move ourselves that we had them move. Also, while we packed most everything that fit in a box, there were a lot of small items that didn't fit in a moving box but that his team packed into wardrobe boxes. (Like fans and footrests and such.) If we'd known to do that, we could have saved some time on moving day. They have a slightly different system than I've seen before: They have multiple small trucks so they load that and can be unloading and placing that while the next truck is being loaded. This makes having a larger team worthwhile - there's no bottleneck at the truck. Sadly, I felt I was arguing with Kenyada a lot, particularly about the specific logistics of the move. We couldn't effectively place much of the equipment and boxes without having the desks moved and the desks were moved late. This contributed to the move taking so long. Also, we ended up doing a lot of the placement ourselves - movers would bring up stacks of items on the elevator and while they were going down to get more, my employees and I would move the items they'd just brought up. I really expected more help from the movers with that. I think we would have avoided that, had I been able to explain the situation to Kenyada when he arrived. I've had service providers including movers quit working at the end of their day even though the job isn't done yet. These guys kept going well past the expected end time - until 4:30a! Which is good as we moved on Sunday specifically so our office could be back up and running on Monday. If they had quit to come back Monday, we'd have lost a day of productivity. I gave a lower score on professionalism, though, because, while I never had an issue with any of his guys, I heard more than I needed to know about personnel issues from Kenyada. Not my business, not my problem, not anything I needed to know. The guys he employed, however, busted butt, were respectful and patient and never once complained to me about anything.

I spoke with Kenyada Winston over the phone. He asked questions, gave me an accurate quote for the move, and then sent a confirmation via email. We had to make a quick move of half of our things in order to stage our current home for sale. His crew arrived exactly on time on the scheduled day. The two young men listened carefully to the fairly complicated sorting process that was necessary. They were extremely careful, yet efficient, never wasting any time. After filling the truck, they moved some furniture around the house here to new locations. They were polite, friendly, and attentive to my requests at all times. Their equipment, blankets, hand trucks, and the truck itself were immaculate, and I was impressed with their clear pride in the company that they work for. We had to take a ferry to the new house, and the fellows never wasted a minute. I'm eager to schedule them for the last half of our move once the house here is sold.

The work was done without a hitch. The workers moved a table from one condo to another within my building as well as bringing the table from QA. They performed their responsibilities with great care and professionalism.

I thought that they did a good job packing and moving everything. The problem that we had was that they charged us three times for the move. We gave them a call and they had one of the charges removed almost right away. It did take them three weeks to get the second one removed. Every time we called them, they would not answer, but if we blocked our number, they would answer the phone. I'm not sure if I would use them again because of that.

Very nice and did a very good job. They will even pick up the boxes when I finally have them all unpacked! Their prices were good, too.

Everything was very smooth. They arrived on time, worked non-stop loading, and when unloading they were helpful setting things where I wanted. Kenyada even unhooked my washer/dryer for me. I would highly recommend them again, and in fact am having them move stuff from my storage unit over to my house as well.

They were very helpful and efficient. They did a good job and I would use them again if I were still in the area.

Both experiences were good although there were a few issues with the packing. First, the team was late (was to be there at 9 am but arrived closer to 9:45-10 am). Second, the packers missed a cabinet in the kitchen. I only noticed it about 2 days later when I returned to my former residence to complete the final cleaning. It seems a no brainer to think, "check before they leave," but once you have boxes in front of every cabinet in the kitchen (and other spots in the house) it becomes difficult to do a spot check. So, it's something you'll want to make sure that you address with the team. However, in general, the packing was done professionally and quickly. I also found the packing team personable yet professional. The moving team was outstanding. They arrived exactly on time. Everything was done efficiently and with courtesy. Nothing was damaged. I have moved a lot (5 states in ten years). Mountain Movers is the first moving organization that I would definitely use again (and recommend to others).

We found Mountain Movers on Angie's List, compared them w/2 other movers. Their good reviews, Kenyada fast response, great communication skill and helpful attitude closed the deal even though their quote was higher than the others (it was a special offer w/10% membership discount & no charge on Sunday). Last Sunday in the afternoon was about 96 degree, hottest day since we have been in summer. Chris, Martin and Jake who helped us move were professional, helpful and most importantly very careful. They spent 1.5 hour more than estimate (totally 7.5 hours) in moving everything probably due to the problem in dismantling the master bed that was badly assembled by the previous mover (we have to abandon the headboard that attached with one side-board at the end and took care of it later); our over-packing and might be the heat has something to do with it too. I rated their punctuality 'B' because they came about 15-20 minutes late. The move was very smooth, no sweat or damage. When I wasn't sure about the calculation of hours, Kenyada replied and clarified with me right away. This is a group of professional movers and our money was well spent. All in all, we are very happy with the move and would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning to move. P.S. the cost is including tip to 3 movers.

Me and my family moved across town and mountain movers came and moved us. I would recommend them to anyone needing to moving.

I think they were very professional and careful. It seemed like they were more prepared. They were prompt. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

I've moved across the country twice in the last few years and the last experience was an absolute disaster, so ever since I've dreaded the next move. I researched movers on Angie's List (love it!) and contacted several. Kenyada was the most responsive and based on my interactions with him and the reports on Angie's List I hired Mountain Movers. It was great to have such a high level of confidence in what my experience would likely be - took a lot of the stress out of the situation. My crew (Chris and Martin) showed up a little early the day of the move and we got started. They were great - very careful but quick - and also extremely polite. Every time I did any little thing to help, they thanked me. The move took longer than I expected, mostly because I had a bunch of garden stuff that wasn't packed. They were very nice about it and just tried to put the pots into the truck as carefully as possible. After a couple of hours I was definitely flagging but even at the end of the 7 hour day the guys were still hussling up and down my driveway. I almost wanted to tell them they could take it a little easier! I am very happy with the whole experience and super impressed with those two guys - they worked their tails off and were complete professionals. They definitely earned their tips. One other thing, in the course of the day we learned that one of our crew had recently suffered a back injury, and the company had taken care of him and paid for his recovery time. I am proud to patronize a company that respects its staff and treats them well - that was extremely impressive to me.

Fantastic. Kenyada and company were fantastic with the move. Kenyada responded to our phone call quickly for an urgent mid-week move. He asked very good questions to suggest that they bring in 2 trucks and 6-movers. The entire move was painless. We had a lot of items and had packed almost 75% of the items when they showed up. The crew of 5-people efficiently and carefully moved our packed items. They methodically wrapped and disasssembled right parts of our furniture for move which was safely loaded and unloaded. They also loaded up several 'wardrobe boxes' and gave us creative ideas on using these (pack pillows, comforters, shoes, umbrellas, etc). They brought several blankets to safely cover our furniture and even shrink wrapped our leather couches to protect these during transit. Our stuff almost filled the 2-trucks that Kenyada had estimated.After the nearly 4-hours of loading process they took a break of an hour and arrived at the new place fresh to unload. They wanted one of us (me or my wife) to stand at the door to direct them on which boxes are unloaded where. The entire unloading process was smooth as well...again they took great care to not damanage anything in the new place. They also agreed to move around a few items after the initial placement. Overall it was a great move that went on smoothly. Thanks Kenyada and company. They worked well as a team. Great team work. I will definitely use them for our next local move.

We moved in 2 phases, first 60 boxes and some furniture, the rest of our 2900 sqft house in the second wave. Used Mountain Movers for both. They really hustled and worked hard, at the same time, were very careful with everything. No scratches on the furniture, I had no broken items, they were careful not to scratch the walls as well. These guys did an outstanding job for us.

Very pleased. John and Mark were on time, professional, patient, and overall very nice to work with.

First they didn't get there anywhere near the 8:00 start time. I actually had to call and leave a message around 9:30 to see where they were and if something might have gotten messed up. They finally arrived about 10:30 with a slightly lame story about taking the wrong turn and traveling on some back roads to get to my house which I had no idea how they could have gotten that messed up because it is a really straight shot from any potential freeway exit and there's no way to get sidetracked for over two hours in Kent and it's vicinity. But I wasn't at all concerned because I knew we didn't have that much to move and only expected it to take a couple of hours anyway. So they proceeded to immediately start packing up the truck and moving the stuff out of the house. I wasn't able to help much because of physical problems with a bad hip and back. It ended up taking more than the couple of hours I had estimated but they kept really busy the whole time helping with a lot of smaller stuff.

They were great. Because of a family emergency, I had been out of town since the day after I closed on my house. I had to postpone the move and then come with just 3 days to completely pack and move. Kenyada was wonderful. He arranged for the packing and came himself to fill in when one of the packers became ill. Every one was very professional, efficient and nice. The movers took great care with my things and my house. The only problem was figuring out what was in various boxes - better labeling on the boxes would have helped. Oh and that initially the website didn't work - but I think that's fixed.

We had reserved use of the building elevator at our destination for 4 hours: 8:00-12:00, which meant the van had to be packed the night before and we paid extra for overnight storage. We heard many complaints about other companies who didn't send enough men to unload in a timely manner. Mountain Movers provided 4 men and everything went smoothly. Our new apartment was freshly painted with a tricky right angle entrance, and we never suffered a single paint bruise in spite of some large furniture. Every employee was friendly and totally cooperative. The pre-move advise was personal and helpful.
