It went very well. Jon explained the process thoroughly and provided honest, straightforward information as to what I could expect from the outcome. The finished product looks great! I'm really glad I had it done.

The fellow was great. Performed his work excellently and it did not make hardly any mess. The tub looks brand new!

Their first attempt had some minor issues with inconsistency in the finish. We called and Jon was able to come within a couple of weeks. He promptly went to work correcting the issues from the initial finish. The tub looks very nice now. Jon and his staff are very personable and a pleasure to work with.

Setting up the appointment was done over email and very easy. The day of, Rob arrived later than expected due to a scheduling mishap on his morning job. He estimated 3-4 hours to finish my tub, but realized that due to a previous poorly done refinish, he would have to do more work than expected. It ended up taking about 6 hours, and the tub is now flawless! Seeing that we were installing a new Kohler toilet, Rob made a point to use a Kohler finish on the tub so they would match (they didn't actually end up matching, but I appreciated the thoughtfulness of it). Overall I am very pleased.

The process was very professional. I sent photos of my claw foot tub and elderly porcelain sink to Bathtub Guy. I was given an estimate for resurfacing within a day and they quickly answered several questions I had via both phone and email. Once we worked out a day for the work they showed up on time and worked quickly and cleanly. During the work they determined that rather than resurface the claw foot tub, it would be better to refinish my tub which would result in a slightly less white surface but would last much longer. I went for this option (same cost). The sink looks good too. There are a couple of places around the faucet handles where there are small gaps in the resurfacing but I think this was a difficult area to get to. After the work was complete they gave me instructions for care of the new surfaces. I am still pleased with their work.

GREAT....these guys showed up when they said they would, did an excellent job and left the bathroom spotless when they finished. Looked brand new. When a towel rack fell into the tub and put a small chip in it they came by and repaired it at no cost. That is what I call customer service....

Jon called prior to his arrival and showed up on time. He was very personable and professional. He advised me on all of the options for our repair and suggested the one he felt made the most sense (it turned out to be the cheapest!).

Employees arrived on time, discussed with us the procedures and color options, carefully prepared the area, completed the work, and cleaned up the area.

They were on time, and scheduling went very smoothly. They are super nice people, and they did a fantastic job with the service!

The work was performed on time and on budget. They explained all of my options by phone. I decided to change the color of my tub from tan to white to match some new fixtures in the bathroom. The 30 year old tub looks brand new! Great job.

It went great! We were moving into an older home, and the tubs and shower were rusted and stained. We thought about replacing them entirely and then found this company. When I spoke to Jon on the phone, he explained the process very clearly to me in a manner that was nice and not belittling. (I feel like when dealing with contractors you often run into that one person who talks to you in jargon and act like you're an idiot.) Not these guys. They talk to you like a normal person who does not work on bathtubs! The person who came to do my tubs turned out to be Jon's brother, and I feel so bad I can't remember his name but I think it was Nick. He was also very friendly and efficient, and finished 2 tubs and a shower pan all in one day. The tubs and shower pan looked like they were new! Fantastic job!

I used SBG last summer to refinish my "classic" burgundy bathtub to white, and it went so well I had them back to do the same finish to my rose-pink formica shower surround. The finish is perfect. Jon the owner came out to look at the surround and give me an estimate and even gave me a couple of alternatives to using them that might save money. Laura in the office is responsive and very pleasant and helpful. The technician who did the actual work was Graham, and I requested him for the second visit because of my good experience with him when he did the tub. He was right on time (8am) and the jobs took exactly how long he said they would. He is very knowledgable about surfaces and very professional. He obviously cares about his finished product. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

They did a great job refinishing my old cast iron tub and touching up a cracked sink. Everything was done as promised and I was told the cost before they even came to the house. Well done!

Fabulous job. He was so friendly, responsive, helpful in making decisions (texture, no texture). The tub looks great even after nightly baths for the last 4 months. It saved us a ton of money and time vs. doing a new tub or even having to rework the bathroom (it's an odd length, so it would have to be custom). I highly recommend them.

They were very patient with me as I had to reschedule my original appointment. Luckily they had a cancelation and fit us in sooner than the 2-3 weeks out. They were very professional and did a great job refinishing the tub. They were very thorough on explaining how to care for the tub since a refinished tub is not as durable as the original finish. Even at the time of first contact they wanted us to be aware of the differences, which I appreciated.

Took all day but the final product is worth it.

As I said, I did not use Seattle Bathtub Guy but will in the future because of Jon's courtesy, patience and detailed explanation.

We had such a great experience with Seattle Bathtub Guy! We had a crack in a tub at our rental house, so we needed a quick fix in order to allow our tenants to use their tub/shower. They were great at fitting us in as quick as possible and working with us on calling before arrival. I emailed several updates to them the few days prior to service and they were fantastic at responding quickly and kindly. The work that they did looks perfect! Hopefully it holds up for a long time. They were very kind and professional throughout the whole process. We also got another bid on the project-I don't know if their price was super cheap, but it was definitely comparable to the other bid, and the other company took almost a week to even contact us back.

It was very reasonably priced, especially compared to other companies in this category. Everthing was fine, all of the way around.

It went very well. He came in and did it, explained everything to me, didn't take too long to do it and then he was gone and I just took the plastic out and it was very nice.

We had a cracked tub. He came in when he said he would and did a great Job.

It looked like new when it was finished, it was great. The price seemed reasonable and I remember that he did not exceed his estimate. I wasn't actually there but my husband was and he said that they came on time, they were polite, they cleaned up, they were efficient, and did what they said they were going to do.

They were easy to work with. I scheduled through e-mail and then they came out. The payment was easy. I just left them a cheque and I wasn't even there. They collected the cheque and did the work, and they actually did some stuff that I didn't think they were going to do. That came out very nice. They did a better job than I was expecting them to do.
