We had recurring issues, I just think that they came out to fix an issue and they didn't really fix my issue so I had to have them out back again.

I don't shop there a lot of the times. I do my shopping online most of the times. They happened to have one of the dishwashers that I wanted to have, and they also had 12 months free interest, so you don't have to pay it all at once, which I like. The only thing I didn't like was that they charge so much to deliver and put in. The guy did a good job putting it in. He was 15-20 minutes late, but he called to let me know.

In the beginning: 1) I purchased a dryer to be stacked on top of my fairly new 2 year old washing machine. The salespeople DID NOT TELL ME that it would be physically impossible for me to reach the dryer's controls (I'm 5'3"). My contractor is 6'3" and he could barely reach them. 2) After spending hours on the phone with a totally useless Sears Service Center, I went back to Sears to complain, to return the dryer, and to purchase a washer/dryer combo. Even the Sears floor personal called the 'Service Center' and got the runaround, so they completed the transaction. p.s. When I told them the issue, they KNEW it wouldn't work, but they aren't allowed to inform the customer (and washer/dryers aren't stacked in the store). 3) I was emphatic: I was returning the dryer and they were delivering the washer/dryer combo. Nothing more. The washing machine was staying. Then I had to leave on a business trip and my contractor had to deal with Sears. The first washer/dryer combo delivered was so banged up, my contractor refused it and it was sent back. He had another (2) hour useless conversation with the service dept. trying to determine when the replacement was showing up. The Sears service department told him that (1) they had no record of the purchase (2) the tried to sell him another machine!!!! The icing on the cake: they delivered the washer/dryer combo and took BOTH the dryer AND my washing machine!!! It was on the paper and my contractor thought I had made other arrangements with Sears. When I called Sears the next day, they informed me it was too late - the washing machine had already gone to the recycling center. I was then offered a $75.00 Sears gift card. After refusing this insulting offer and threatening to call the BBB and the Attorney General's office, they upped it to $200.00. I was so sick of it by this time, I took it..
Description of Work: They were supposed to deliver a washer/dryer combo and remove the old dryer. Well, they also removed a washing machine at the same time!!!! I was going to donate that washing machine to Habitat for Humanity. Since I was on a business trip and couldn't be reached, the contractor assumed I had made different arrangements. WRONG.

I called Sears about my Kenmore refrigerator which was purchased just a few years ago. I wasted 20minutes talking to a robot. Finally got a human. My first question was "how soon can you come out". This was ignored while I listened to a sales pitch for 'extended warranty coverage' (for over $500). I declined. He asked me why I was turning down such a good deal. I was told that the "diagnostic fee" would be $120. The actual repair cost would be on top of this. I asked my question again. I was finally told that the earliest appointment would be in 5 days. My food would be rotten by then, so I decided to try a different repair service (which offered next-day service).

Repair m Was scheduled the same day we called. The repairman called to let us know he would be here in 20 minutes. When he arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He was professional, friendly and showed my husband what to do if it happened again in the future.

As soon as we got off the escalator we were gretted by Betty Tatick who seemed to be very professional. We are updating our home and Betty happened to be in the same position as us. She more or less sold my wife on the stove top range, dishwasher and microwave. She called us on Sunday telling us that they have a new promotional discount for the next week. We bought those 3 items along with a replacement dryer. I highly recommend Betty's customer service and knowledge she has on the appliances.
