+ -1 moreFirst, it was SO easy to book the appointment - all online. I received an email confirmation with a number to call if I had any questions. The Sears Home Services employee called about 20 minutes early and let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time. We looked at the washer and he knew what the problem was right away and he had the part with him. He fixed it and then performed maintenance on the dryer and gave me some tips on how to keep it cleaner. The whole thing took maybe 30 minutes. He was pleasant and was very respectful. I will use them again for any appliance issues.
Description of Work: The spin cycle on my Kenmore washer stopped working. I also wanted to have maintenance done on a Kenmore dryer.

+ -1 moreEverything went splendidly. We walked in on some super sale so we got everything real cheap, new not used. Everything was delivered on time and the refrigerator was installed well. The only problem was that I didn't have all the parts to install the dishwasher myself, but after I got the one part I needed it was easy to hook up and push into the wall.
Description of Work: We bought a washer and refrigerator and had the refrigerator installed.

+ -1 moreOverall, I am not satisfied with the amount of time it is taking Sears to resolve the issue with our oven, and am frustrated that their repair person claimed they were at the house and no one answered the door when I was sitting at home waiting for them.
Description of Work: Our oven had an issue that was covered by our home warranty. Sears came out to troubleshoot, determined the problem, and ordered the needed parts. Their next available appointment to install the parts was one month from the date that they ordered the parts. This was not ideal, however we made it work. On the day they were scheduled to complete the repair, I stayed home between the hours they scheduled with us, which was between 8 am and noon. During that time, I sat in the front room of our house working on my computer with no music or TV on (i.e. the house was silent). I received a call at approximately 11:00 am notifying me that they had claimed they came to the house and no one was home so they must re-schedule for two weeks out. I do not believe they actually came to the house and am frustrated that it is taking well over a month to resolve the issue with my oven and it will take three missed work days to resolve this.

+ -1 moreThey were very nice and prompt. They were very good. We have an extended warranty because we don't have good luck with appliances so we want to cover ourselves. We try to shop around for the best services. They were very professional.

+ -1 moreI called the 1800 number to have them come out, and they called right away. I have a service contract with them, so I did not have to pay for the service, but whatever was the problem, it would have cost hundreds of dollars to fix it. I would use them again in the future.

They are very straight forward, they were on time, they understood the situation, and they explained to me how everything worked when they had to order a part. They had the part delivered here then came back after it arrived to put it in. They cleaned up after themselves beautifully. Everything has worked just fine since they were here.

+ -1 moreThey were prompt and were always here when they said that they would be here. They were very professional and always cleaned up after themselves. They completed the job in one day. I liked their follow-up response on my satisfaction. Their price was a little more than what it would cost if I had to go out and got the things myself. They put the whole package together like the counter tops, they coming and doing the work at home.
