Do not even think about hiring this company. Troy claims to be able to do any type of work, but he can't. I had many problems with him, but the main one was that he did a terrible job of installing tile on my floors. He did not properly prep the floor before installing it & thus the tiles are not adhered to the floor well, so they move & the grout is cracking all over. It looks awful. Tile experts say it can't be fixed, it must be re-done. Halfway through the project he said, "In hindsight, I probably should have put a layer of concrete down." Other problems: he broke a light fixture, the tub door he installed leaked, the toilet he installed wobbled, a doorknob he installed wouldn't close properly, he installed trim hastily so my sliding closet doors won't close all the way. Also, he was very disrespectful of my belongings, he never covered anything & he made a mess. He left permanent stains outside of my door and in the stairwell. I could go on if I had more space. It was a nightmare.
Description of Work: Scrape popcorn from ceiling; paint entire condo (which he hired someone from down the street from me to do), install door knobs; remove old flooring and install tile on floors in kitchen, bath, laundry and entry; install new shelves; install lights; install new trim; paint ceiling fan; install new tub door and toilet; remove old vanity. The list of tasks was longer at the beginning of the project, but once I realized that he's not good with detailed work, I cut his list short and hired someone else to finish and fix the things that Troy screwed up. I ended up paying him the agreed upon amount, even though I cut his list short to get rid of him. Despite my requests, he never provided a contract with a detailed list of the work to be done.

Troy is really just a sheetrock guy. He really does not know anything about remodeling. He brought in his father Ernie to try and finish the project, but Ernie did the cheapest and easiest thing to finish each task. A water envelope engineer inspected the windows and they were all installed incorrectly, Troy and crew broke a window and never replaced it, Troy gouged a cast iron tub in 10 places while tiling and tried to cover it up with touch up paint. The final piece was when I went away for 2 weeks (after working with him for 3 months) I paid Troy in advance for 2 weeks of work and he ran off with the money and lied to me. Legal charges are pending. Do not hire this company.
Description of Work: Troy and his father Ernie did the following: framing and sheet rocking a basement, tiling of 2 rooms, framing, sheet rocking and tiling a bathroom, arch re-framing and texture, installation of 4 windows.
