Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

They did a great job. They do a good job. It took about half hour. Keep doing what they are doing.

10 minutes and it was $400. They did knock a $100 off after calling. They price by the job so be aware. They could track the plumbers time by GPS which is why they knew it was a short visit. That is why they are getting an A vs. a B. The work great, fast, punctual and HONEST.

Rotor Rooter had the right equipment and technician was very competent at performing this work. Their response to my call was within 2 hours and the work was done in 1 hour.

A local representative was dispatched the next day from RotoRooter and he had the tools and experience to do a great job and he was very quick. There is a first drain charge that was twice what the other two cost but...hey...the sound of running water through the drain pipes was sweet. All in all it was worth the price for the peace of mind I felt knowing it will be a few years before this needs to be done again.

The work is fine, though I felt it was probably overpriced. Mostly, I feel like these guys take advantage of people who feel they have an emergency in their home that needs immediate attention. They over-dramatize what is happening in your pipes to try to sell additional services. I was glad to have the work done within days of the problem, but hated how terrible they made me feel. I would never go with them again.

Narcis was friendly and very informative. What we initially thought was needed was for the toilet to be cleared. Narcis put a camera though our pipes and explained we had missing piping under the toilet. Although the cost was unexpected, Narcis was fair in the estimate. He also came back to our house to ensure the job was on track. Sandeep was the plumber who did all the work and did a great job and took much pride in his work. Sandeep provided 5 star work. Best part is the work is guaranteed.

Overall it went great. Prompt, courteous, clean, professional, got the job done quickly, with a 6-month guarantee. But those prices! That's what you get when you need same-day service and they have you over a barrel. A coupon from their website took 10% of the sting out of it.

After calling a plumber who said they'd be out that afternoon & was a no show, calling yet another who couldn't make it for another few days we called Roto-Rooter! They arrived when they said they would, removed the clog, & provided excellent customer service! Will use them again for sure!

from the very start the guy trying to up sale other service. He pull number out of his &*$%. Since we don't have time to get another estimate, we just have him to do the minimum. He doesn't warranty any of his work at all. ***

My sewer line backed up the afternoon of 4/19. I've used Roto-Rooter previously and had reasonably happy with response and work. The office asked questions to determine the severity of damage and impact. Since the flow had stopped, I was willing to wait until the next day for service. Given to choice of 4 hour time windows, I choose 8am -12noon. Next morning, I was called by dispatch, asked more questions. The service charge of $400 seems pretty steep, but I reminded myself part of the charge is for expedited service which I needed badly. Service Technician Narcis Ciceu arrived about an hour after the dispatch call. Narcis proved to be a smart and conscientious person. He was polite and very good at explaining what he was doing. I've had other technicians look at my sluggish back drain, but Narcis was the first to take the time to get it open. I was extremely happy about that. If I have plumbing/drain problems in the future, I would request Mr Ciceu be sent on the call. I'd know for sure things would be done right.

They actually came early. They had someone cancel, so they were free. We felt like they weren't trying to rip us off. The only thing I can think of to improve is to make it a bit more user friendly when you call to make the appointment.

We did use Roto-Rooter and they did a very good job. There was one minor thing that was found out afterwards and they came right out and fixed it. They were early. It took about a half hour to complete the work. There was one worker that came to do the work. He found a couple of things, he had to replace a piece, then he found a couple of thing. Then he went ahead and fixed them without charging. He took another look at the plumbing there and gave us some sort of free advice on where things might need to be done or whatever. I would tell others that they do very good work and the pricing is less than some of the other places and they don't try to up charge you.

They gave excellent service. There were 2 workers and it took them maybe an hour. It was great service and I have no complaints.

Came quickly and finished quickly. They gave good advice. Found them on line. Left area clean and it only took 1 person to do the job.

Ron from Roto-Rooter showed up quickly. He was very professional and knowledgeable and helped solve a very unique and odd situation. He was friendly and honest and I would absolutely call him for future issues.

Technician was nice and on time. But the price seemed ridiculous.

Horribly. He said he could fix it but $550 later I still had to buy a new hot water heater and shell out thousands more. Waste of money and time.

I was reluctant to call "the big company," but based on all the good reviews, I did call them. The whole organization did great. Excellent dispatching, promising someone within 4 hours. They called at 2 hours just to let me know they hadn't forgotten about me. They called again when the plumber was enroute. Carlos quickly sized up the situation, gave me an estimate, and got to work. The blockage was tougher than expected, and he actually broke his smaller drain snake cable. We got the bigger machine out, and that did the job. Once he thought he was through the blockage, he had me turn on as many faucets upstairs as possible to ensure that we had full flow. He even kept feeding the snake in to make sure the whole line was clean all the way to the street. Carlos worked as clean as possible by working on a tarp, and then cleaned the area as he finished. Two hours of on-site work total,

Charged $300 to screw gas hose to stove. All labor for about 20 minutes. Required no supples of any kind. Did not want to tackle other tasks. Was told if would cost $1500-$1800 to install dishwasher. Refuses to work on pedestal sinks!

That worked well, yeah very good. He knew what he was doing, was very professional, he was pleasant and there was no problems, we encountered no problems and he got to the root of the problem and took care of it very well.

It went well, technician arrived a few hours later, use those commercial drain cleaners to snake it, unclogged, work looks good, in total stay for ~1.5hrs, quite expensive for the final bill at around $400 though. Good service it seems, but would shop for a more economic one next time.
