Description of Work: Received bid to install a water line for the ice maker of my new refrigerator, talking about a line from the sink to the frig. They wanted $700-800 to do this, You have got to be kidding. Roto-Rooter is off my list for good. Angie's list is close to that status if these are the type of companies they suggest.

Description of Work: they say that it is a free estimate, but when he got here, he charged me 75.00 dollars to go under the house to see what the problem is, after he found out what the problem was, he said that it would be two hundred and fifty dollars an hour, I needed the work done and he knew that I was desprate to have the job done, he said that he had to go to a hardware store for parts and the time of his work would not start until he came from the store, he came back about 45 minutes later and started the job, it took about 30 minutes on the job, he charged me $ 500.00 dollars saying that it took him 2hrs to complete the job, he added the time that he went to the store to the time it took him to do the work then he said that it is $ 500.00 , my wife and I kept track of the time and we waited until he was finish and gave us the price , after he charged us $ 500.00, we gave him a $ 75.00 off any services coupon of any work that they do and he would not accept it, we gave him a $ 500.00 check and as soon as he left Our house , we called the bank and cancelled the check, later we called the company explaining what we did and they said , can you pay $ 470.00 we said that we will pay $ 360.00 and that is all, I will not use there service again, they will not give you a hourly rate over the phone, Never again will I use them

Description of Work: Arrived to give us an estimate to clear our drain from the front yard to the back. We agreed on a price, which was a bit more then we counted on, but after all was done, well worth it. The technician, Anthony, gave us the estimate and was going have another technician return the next morning to do the job, as he wasn't equipped with a jet to wash out the clog. We agreed to a time and he returned to the office in Everett. We got a call within 1/2 hr after he left. It was the dispatcher and wanted to know if Anthony could come back now as a previous job he was to go to had canceled. He was back in an hour with the jet. We still don't know exactly what was blocking our drain, but Anthony worked at least 1 1/2 hours until he had cleared it so that it would drain under normal use. We had an unexpected situation as no one can find the outlet for the water from the drain. He gave us some suggestions on how to locate it and make it acceptable for drainage. We were happy with the work, with Anthony and then realized how good the price was considering how much work it took and how he took it upon himself to search our backyard, and beyond, to help us find the water outlet. We would hire the Roto-Rooter company in the future and recommend them to our family and friends.

Description of Work: Cleaned out sewer line that was clogged with tree roots. Serviceman started with least invasive ways to check the problem of a toilet that overflowed and kept me informed of what was needed throughout the process. He was very professional, and the response time was within an hour. He cleaned up after repair and the bathroom was spotless.

Description of Work: ONE OF OUR UPSTAIRS TOILETS DIDN'T WANT TO FLUSH WITH ANY FORCE AND EVERYONE WAS AFRAID TO USE IT. STEVE GONZALEZ CAME WITHIN A HOUR OF BEING CALLED. HE WAS VERY POLITE. HE LEFT NO MESS. HE AUGERED THE TOILET AND DRAIN AND LEFT IT RUNNING FINE. HE ASKED US TO PLEASE USE IT A LOT AS THERE WAS A SEVEN DAY GUARANTEE OF THEIR WORK. HE WAS DONE IN A VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.
