+ -1 moreEverything went very well! We had chimney repair happening at the same time and Rick was aware of this fact and was willing to work around the unpredictable schedule. The work was completed EXTREMELY quickly (within three days of his crew beginning work!) and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Rick is a very reasonable businessman and was always available by phone when needed. He was willing to work out a payment schedule with us so we didn't have to pay the full cost upfront, which is very helpful during these tough times.
Description of Work: Before purchasing our home, Rick Larson from Roof Doctors gave us an estimate on the cost of replacing the roof in its entirety as it was very old and had several holes in the shingles. He gave us a very reasonable price which was far below other bidders. He and his crew pulled all of the roofing materials off and put on new substrate and new algae-resistant shingles.

+ -1 moreMy conclusion: Roof Doctors does not want to have their bids compared. Watch out for the contractor who prefers to be the sole bidder & relies on a grifter's sales pitch to lure the unwary into an overpriced proposal.
Description of Work: The Roof Doctors estimator, Mr Rick Larson, arrived promptly at the appointment time- 11 am, 3-16-06. After Mr Larson inspected the roof, we talked of possible shingle types & warranty periods. I mentioned that I expected to get several bids for cost comparison. Instantly, Mr Larson lost interest. He said he was not going to provide a quote & drove away.
