Description of Work: Installed side sewer line cleanout. I did the digging to allow access to the sewer line joint where the cleanout was installed. Raymark simply cut out a section of the original straight section and installed a new piece with a Y-fitting to attach the cleanout piping. I was quoted a time-and-materials estimate of $700 and the billed cost was $1000 but that amount was still below what I expected to pay when I started the process. I had a previous quote from three years earlier that included the digging required for access that was $3700. So I saved a lot by doing the digging myself and going with a time-and-materials contract.

We are in the middle of a "deep freeze" weather-wise and even though I had wrapped the outdoor faucets, both froze and the cold water was not running in the downstairs sink. I called Raymark to ask for advise (thinking I might be able to fix the frozen pipe myself) and Crystal very kindly explained exactly what to do. After thinking about it for a few minutes I decided I didn't want to deal with it and called them back for service. I was expecting it would be hours before they could come out---or wouldn't be able to come until the next day but they said they could be right over! About 15 minutes later Will showed up and assessed the problem. He was able to thaw the pipe and the outside faucet. He asked if there was another outdoor faucet and checked that as well. Upon inspection he found that our front faucet was also frozen! He thawed it out and then wrapped both faucets really well. He then discovered that the cold water would not turn off and he replaced the Moen cartridge that was damaged---no charge. He then educated me about what I could do to prevent further problems with freezing pipes. Will was kind, professional and efficient!
Description of Work: Thawed two frozen outdoor hosebibbs and wrapped both. Replaced a cartridge on our Moen faucet.

Extremely responsive. Answered call before opening hours at 6:30 am; they notified office and got call immediately back assuring that they would take care of it first thing in the AM. They were careful to ask about my schedule. The plumber showed up at 8 am and finished by 8:30 am.

We'd been having back ups, and have had it cleared, but found some breaks in our sewer pipe when they "camera-ed" it, a video like a colonscopy. Had Raymark and other companies give estimates, went with Raymark because of known reputation. Getting to the pipe required digging right next to a beautiful red Japanese maple tree and removing hedges. They did this very carefully, and the tree survived, although not all the bushes did. Had to do concrete work, and also replaced all the landscaping nicely.

This company came out to my home in a great time of need. We were experiencing some very heavy rains in my area, and we called this company for help in fixing our issues. We needed them to come out immediately, and they prioritized there calls to make sure that the emergency's were handled first. We felt that they were very trustworthy and did such a wonderful job. And we also plan to use them again in the near future.

Contacted plumbers for an estimate and they responded within a couple of days. The day they came for the quote, they were several hours late but did call to keep us informed. Then after telling us they could not snake the drains without installing an outside portal there was virtually no follow up for almost a week, even after telephone calls from my husband. Finally, the team came out to the house. They did the work, but they couldn't answer any of our other plumbing questions. They said they were "just the sewage team, you'd have to talk to someone in plumbing." My husband has called twice and left messages asking for a call because there is more work to be done. We have received NO response.
Description of Work: Sewage drains were snaked and exterior access portal was installed.

The company is very well supplied with technology. They were very accommodating. They provided me with knowledge on the best possible way to complete the service that was needed. They were able to go about their work without effecting any of my landscaping. I was very pleased with their work. It was exceptional. I have referred them to my neighbor.
Description of Work: I had a small leak showing in the basement wall where a downspout was. I found that the cement tile p-trap had eroded and was allowing water from the downspout to enter the wall. Raymark was recommended to me by my neighbor. They came out and gave me a correct diagnosis by using a camera to assess the situation in the piping and gave me a copy of the video camera findings. They put in a new side drainage system, replaced the sewer exits from the bathroom and the kitchen, and connected everything to the sewer right of way. They had to dig 10 feet deep into heavy clay glacial till to get to the sewer exits. During their work, it was discovered that my oil tank had to be removed, and it delayed the progress of their work and required them to coordinate with the tank removal company. In addition to their work, they installed a new copper water service line to the house and replaced the existing water tank. They also had to do interior plumbing to connect it all.

The team showed up on time, worked fast and efficiently and had water running again by the end of the first day, they only had to come back in the morning the next day to fill in the holes. The water pressure increase in my house is now fantastic and I couldn't be happier with their work.

The office was very courteous and helpful and explained the charges before I made the appointment. The plumber who came out was prompt and did an outstanding job of cleaning up. He left the bathroom perfect. He was willing to replace the toilet flapper even though I hadn't mentioned it when I made the appointment.

Dan cleaned out the sink drain and made sure it was draining well before leaving. He also observed that water pressure at the sink is low and that the kitchen drain pipes were small for the volume of use. He made these recommendations to avoid future problems: (1) limit the volume of waste going down the disposal; (2) consider installing larger drain pipes (easily accessible in basement); (3) as a (more expensive) last resort, replace the old galvanized pipe with copper to increase water flow and improve the flushing of waste down the disposal.

Prompt response, professional job. I described what I wanted, he offered some suggestions; they were good working together. The cost was a shock - I was expecting to pay $85/hour. After reading the bill carefully, I discovered the $85 is for the first quarter-hour. After that it's $30 per quarter hour which equals $120 per hour. In hindsight, I should have gone looking for a regular contractor, not a company that specializes in responses to emergency situations. My project was NOT an emergency.

We were right in the middle of construction, and I called Raymark in hopes we would be able to get someone out right away. I was immediately put on the schedule, and Pat kept in touch with me throughout the day to update me on possible arrival time. When it became clear that someone would not be able to get out until the next day, Steve called to check in as well. I told him what we were seeing, and based on my descriptions and a little investigative work, he was able to determine that the pipes and cistern would not interfere with our patio and we could proceed ahead. All this at no charge to us! Wow! I was so grateful and impressed by the fantastic service all the way around by Raymark!
Description of Work: I had a drainage issue. While installing a new patio, mystery pipes coming out from under the foundation of the house were discovered. A weird cistern-like structure was also discovered with pipes leading in and out of it.

This is the second time we have used this company and both times we were completely satisfied. This time our sewer backed up into the basement. They arrived the day I called and determined that we had a broken sewer line about 15 ft. from the house. They came back the next day and within four hours had fixed the line. I found them to be friendly, and knowledgable. The job seemed pricey but I have nothing to compare it against. It didn't seem out of the ballpark.

We called Raymark about our backed-up drain in the basement, and they suspected we had a problem with the sewage ejector pump. They scheduled someone to come out the next day. We were surprised at this because were told that this could be an "emergency." YIKES! Jim, the plumber, arrived on time and was ready to work. Our pump WAS broken, and if we had delayed much longer, we would have had the most disgusting flood in our finished basement. We were so thankful that Jim came when he did and that he happened to have a pump in his truck.

Used twice. Happy with first time when replacing old pipes. Excellent follow-up. Very unhappy with second time. $900.00 higher than bid. Ended up costing $3000 instead of $2000. Installed pipes for clawfoot tub incorrectly. Unfortunately, we did not catch until concrete had already been poured. After work was done, found upstairs pipe from tub, did not need to be replaced. Could have simply cleaned it out. Will never use them again!
