I needed a new toilet and Jim from Raymark Plumbing installed a Toto-Drake ADA comfort height toilet with a slow close seat. It was the perfect replacement for my 22 year old worn out toilet. I love my Toto-Drake!!!

I contacted Raymark late in the day when I discovered water from my main floor was leaking onto the extra thanksgiving chairs I had stored in my garage, Yikes! Within 30 minutes Joe was there, determined the problem and corrected everything. This is what I love about Raymark-they are reliable, professional, and take great care of their customers. We have used them many times over the past 30 years and have always been 100 % satisfied.
Description of Work: Came out for a last minute Thanksgiving Eve leaking pipe that was turning my garage into a pond.

One of a homeowners worst nightmares. You can hear water running but you can't find it. You go to the inside service shut off and turn it off. You can still hear it even thought you just shut off all water inside the house. You head outside, open the meter box, clean off the meter and see that little triangle spinning around like a whirling dervish. You are in deep trouble. My existing service was 25 feet from the street to the corner of the house under a slate patio and then 8 feet underground 20 feet back along the side of the house under a concrete stairway. Ty from Raymark came by and after I showed him the lay of the land he suggested that the new pipe run diagonally from the meter under the patio to the center of the street side of the house where the garage is located. After jacking a hole in the corner of the garage floor that new copper pipe came snaking up out of the hole like an earthworm after a rain storm. From there they ran straight up and back to basically the middle of the old service inlet pipe and tied in. So I now have a surface mounted pipe on the ceiling of my 61 year old house and probably about 15 to 20K in my pocket that I would have been out, if not for Ky's intelligent, thoughtful approach to a difficult installation. There were 9 different guys on the job the day it was done. Utility locators, laborers, the boring guys and the plumbers. I was not there all day and did not get to know everyone but I would like to especially thank Ty, James and Chris. They were all very professional and put in a very, very long day to get my water back on. When they were all done everything was cleaned up and all you could see was where they dug the hole in the ground to connect to the meter and those spray painted lines and little flags they use to locate the other utilities. I did get other bids but decided to go with Raymark because their approach was the most logical and their price was competitive and they used copper, not pex which the other companies wanted to use. Thanks Raymark! I highly recommend you guys. My water is back on and my wife is happy. And you what they say; Happy Wife, Happy Life.
Description of Work: Used directional boring to replace leaking galvanized water service line from meter to new inlet location with copper. Installed new copper pipe from new service inlet location to existing galvanized pipe inside house.

We experienced a broken buried water supply pipe with water flowing from the meter box about 12 feet from the house foundation. Raymark was called, and Dan came out. After his onsite assessment, Dan concluded that the pipe was probably broken UNDER the house foundation concrete slab and would likely require laying a completely new supply line which would involve excavation through the concrete foundation and cost thousands of dollars. I had to insist that Dan begin investigating the leak by excavating FROM the meter box where the water was flowing out. A simple cracked pipe was identified within three feet of the meter. Broken portion of the pipe was fixed. Clearly, Dan's (from Raymark) assessment was way off base. As the homeowner, I just did not feel that Dan was committed to protecting my best interest. I would advise other homeowners that if they find themselves in a similar situation, it would be prudent to get a second opinion before embarking on a repair that costs thousands of dollars. Interestingly, the replaced portion of the pipe developed a crack a year later, and I replaced it on my own with a thicker one. I would NOT recommend Raymark to my neighbors or friends.
Description of Work: Replaced cracked portion of pipe (located approximately 10 feet from house foundation) near water meter. Portion of pipe replaced was approximately 3 feet long.

An excellent experience overall. The only glitch was the fact that emergency repairs took precedence over our more routine job several times, but that was understandable. Every person we dealt with was professional, courteous, prompt, and friendly. Highly recommended!

Dan from Raymark looked over the situation and gave me his suggestion as to the source of the water. He followed up by contacting the City of Bothell in an effort to determine whether we would be able to hookup directly to the sewer. He requested Raymark send out a video camera, which was sent into the drain tubes to determine if there was a blockage. A blockage was located six feet down. They scheduled a crew with a small backhoe, and had the drainlines exposed in a couple hours, with repairs completed in a couple more.
Description of Work: There was standing water in the lower corner of my property, draining over the sidewalk to the storm sewer. Raymark thoroughly assessed the situation before arriving at a solution to the problem.

They committed to get the work done over 3 days during the week of Dec 17 to Dec 21. They got it all done on Dec 17, 18, and 19. While the work was generally done well there were 4 small oversights worth mentioning: 1) In one of the holes opened up to replace the pipes, they actually poked ALL the way through the wall to the other side, causing a small hole where one wasn't at all necessary. I suspect this accident occurred because they pushed the saw too far through the wall while cutting the hole. Picture here: http://imgur.com/59NGv,qZY5N 2) There was a small leak at the junction for the washing machine, so after our first wash we had a puddle of water on the floor. They came and fixed this very quickly, but it could've been easily noticed and avoided if they'd just done a test run of the washing machine before leaving. 3) They left a lot of leftover parts laying around the backyard. Leftover screws and pipe-ends and such. Could've been a bit more thorough cleaning up. 4) One of the holes opened up in the ceiling exposed a bunch of insulation. After the first day of having this hole, they covered it with plastic and tape to keep the insulation from falling down into the house, but they must have had to get in to it a second time, and after the last day, they left it exposed and small parts of insulation kept wafting down into the home until we finally got a drywaller out to patch the holes. Picture here: http://imgur.com/59NGv,qZY5N#1
Description of Work: We had our homes' pipes completely replaced since they were the original galvanized pipes. We also had a new drain pipe installed for the washer and dryer since the previous one was too small, and we had a new water heater installed.

Description of Work: Cleaned out bathroom plumbing and installed two cleanouts in driveway. Then gave me estimate about a week later for sewer line replacement which we are still consifering. They are about 45" minutes from my house and yet they were more prompt and professional than more local plumbers. I would definitely use them again the future.

They already had a good write up in Angie's list. I consulted that when I was getting the house repaired and they were excellent. They have a wonderful write up. I hired them to do the re-pipe on my house property. They were quick, affordable and very efficient. I was surprised that they had several people's report and that's why I chose them. They replaced all the incoming piping from the street, with a new line from the street to the house and the entire incoming pipe underneath the house.

jeIn short, we had a clog in our sewer and the guys came right out and found the problem, dug it out and repaired the sewer. They then proceeded to tell me that the entire sewer line should be replaced at a cost of $17,000. The bid was done by the owner and we were under the impression that indeed we would need to go ahead with the work. My father in law tried to schedule the work for us through Raymark and the receptionist gave him the run around about scheduling a date and she would not answer his questions. In the end, my father in law spoke with the owner and he said that the work really did not need to be done and the sewer would be fine for "many, many years". So my question is, "Why in the world would they tell me it needed to be replaced, if indeed it did not?!!!" When we canceled the 'project that didn't really need to be done' they were going to charge us for come back to fill in the hole and remove the materials they dug up. We refused to pay them as we have already shelled out a huge amount of money. They left a chunk of pipe, two huge sheets of disgusting plywood and a tarp on our lawn. I would NEVER EVER have this company work on my house again! Very unprofessional. I feel cheated and taken advantage of by this company.

These guys gave me a thorough evaluation of my outside drain and gave me gave a couple of options. Their price was right. They came in, dug up the lawn, installed new pipe, and put the yard back together in such a way that you hardly new they were there except for the new cleanout they installed. For this job, like my inside plumbing, I had several plumbers come and bid. One came, stepped off the distance to the street and gave me a price in the several thousands $$. Several came and checked out the drain with cameras and the price range was large. Raymark did a great job for a price less than all the others. I thought I was going to have to plant grass, all I had to do was cut the grass.

Kitchen faucet was leaking into sink and under sink into cabinet. Fixture was about 20 years old. Jim, the plumber who came, attempted first to simply replace "o" rings (the least expensive route) but the old faucet just wouldn't give up the part that should have slipped easily up and down to provide water to the spray attachment. Since the faucet was so old, it was definitely time to replace it and we were preapred for that. This was done with a quality fixture that worked perfectly for our fixture footprint and with the proper fitting to attach to our portable dishwasher. Fixture was $157 and labor $175. I also asked about decreased pressure in the handheld part of our showerhead in the bathroom and JIm saved me the effort of taking it apart by doing so himself and cleaning the bits of debris that were partially clogging the watersaver piece, solving that problem. No additional charge as this all occurred within the hour he was here. Very efficient, well done job. We had used their services before and will again.
Description of Work: 20 year old leaking kitchen faucet. Attempted to repair, but had to replace and appropriately so. Replaced part on hot water valve to kitchen sink, too, as it was not shutting off completely. Also cleaned handheld showerhead of debris that was decreasing its water pressure.

The job got complicated. The work done was excellent. The line was a shared sewer line that "Y'd" with our neighbor. The original place was to replace our side of the "Y" and the res of the line to the street. Raymark ended up replacing our neighbor’s side of the "Y" without asking. Had they taken it slower, and involved everyone in what was going on, we would have been able to share the cost of the project. Rather than them footing the bill for our side and leaving us accountable for the rest of the project.

Raymark was very professional and efficient. I think we lucked-out to get someone out so quickly. This was a small job for them but a huge deal for us to be able to hav a working sewerline.
Description of Work: After 60 years of use part of our house's side sewer gave way. A cement elbow join just behind the house crumbled and became clogged. Raymark was able to come out the same day and unclog the sewer. They returned the next day to excavate and replace the crumbling cement section with new pvc. They also added an outside clean-out trap and ran their camera all the way out the side sewer to the street to check for other issues.
