The technician, Chris, was professional and courteous. He gave me an honest evaluate of my home's foundation. Thank goodness my home is structurally sound!

Ram Jack team were diligent and dedicated to completing a difficult lift of one wing of our two-story house. They were polite and thorough and cleaned up before leaving. We are 100% satisfied and recommend them for your consideration.

I believe the job went well. The crews were on time and worked hard all day. They kept the site clean and minimized any disruption.

Did you hear me Angies List YOU ARE WORTHLESS!!!! (not this contractor but Angies List). I only stay with them because I have many reviews and use the contractors again when I need them.

I just bought a new house, where one room had a noticeable slope in it. I believe it was because this room used to be the garage before a remodel. I had RamJack come out to check it out to make sure there was not an issue with the foundation. They showed up and looked at the room, checked out the outside and performed some tests with their instruments. He could have scared me and told me that I needed lots of work, because honestly I have no idea about foundations and I was willing to pay to fix the issue on my new house. However, he explained to me that he did not believe there was an issue and that the house was fine. He said when I replace the carpet, to have the flooring people level out the slope and that should take care of it. It is great to work with those who do their best to give you accurate honest advice and not try and use your lack of knowledge against you. All of this was done for no cost, and that is what puts the cherry on top of this story. I know if I ever do have any issue, RamJack is the first place I will call, since if they tell me there is any issue I can trust that there really is one.

The crew,run by Joe Brown, did an excellent job. Very fast and cleaned all the mess afterwards. I would definitely call them again if I needed foundation work.

After repair was completed, there was a noticeable improvement in the house.

We couldn't be happier with RamJack. They were the most prompt and professional company we talked to, and they were also the lowest bid. Their work was stellar--it was a major project in our backyard and I was impressed with the shape they left the yard in given the level of work they did. Most importantly, our house is no longer sinking. I spent a lot of time talking with other companies and experts, and I wish I would have talked to RamJack first.

The job went as expected

Company was efficient and responsive in all respects. Work took about 1/2 day and they were able to come 1 week a earlier than planned. They explained the process as the work progressed and I am satisfied that our chimney is finally stabilized.

They sent out Foundation Specialist, Colt. The company as well as Colt communicated appt time and provided me updates as to time of arrival. Colt was very polite and did a complete inspection of the property even though it was becoming apparent to me that the changes and signs in my house were due to the settling of the property. Colt spent time explaining and showing me how these things occur. Even though the house is on Vashon and requires a ferry fee, there was not a charge/fee associated as Ram Jack provides free estimates. Most importantly, was the professionalism and knowledge/experience of RamJack and its employees. I highly recommend their services.

The representative from Ram Jack was punctual, polite and very helpful. He thoroughly inspected our house, and gave good advice.

We live in North end and the crew had to drive up from Puyallup everyday. I don't know how they did it with awful Seattle traffic, but they arrived on time every day. It even snowed one day quite a bit and we expected them to not show - but there they were! On time! I don't know if we just got a superior crew: Anthony (foreman), Mike, Kai, and Jim - but they worked together so efficiently it was really a pleasure to watch. A lot of heavy metal rods had to be drilled into the foundation. It took days of hard labor to lug all of the hardware underneath the house and drill it all in place. All the while, Anthony kept us informed of the progress, obstacles and solutions as they came up. His crew consisted of really knowledgeable well- trained guys. These weren't just workers performing tasks. Not at all. They are trained professionals and they have great attitudes and obvious pride in their work. After all the piers and jacks were installed, the house was lifted on the 6th day. On that day, three more men joined the crew and manned different areas of the house; below, around the outside and inside of the house. The lift was done very carefully, slowly and successfully and supervised by one of Ram Jack West's specialists, Ken who communicated to the crew under the house, while they lifted it in increments. It was an experience to behold. We now have a level and secure home and a lifetime guarantee that Ram Jack West's work will last. We will miss seeing the crew and wish them well in all their future endeavors!

The lift got the elevations of the foundation were back to level. The job had some difficulties but the end results were great. I got to observe the work from start to finish and came to appreciate the complexities involved in raising a large structure. The workers were friendly and kept me informed on the steps they were undertaking. Not a fast process but well worth the time and money.

A contractor that gave me a bid on drainage issues thought I might have foundation problems since I have cracking with a bit of sloping on my garage floor. I called Ram Jack and Cory Myron came to my house to investigate. He was very personable and knowledgeable and said I could accompany him as he analyzed my foundation, so I did. After lots of measuring both the interior and exterior and looking at the foundation he noted that I had a few areas of my house that measure under an inch in sloping. Cory made my day when he told me that I did not need to do any foundation work since the measurements were minor. I really appreciate Cory's/Ram Jack's time since it is a complimentary consultation! Great peace of mind!

I called Ram Jack after having called two other engineers to assess what should be done about a sinking floor joist. Two others had offered to come over and write a written report, one for $900 without any repair. I left this undone for years because I just didn't have the funds to even figure out what needed to be done. I didn't want to try to lift this up on my own since I wasn't sure what the ramifications of doing it wrong might be. When I called RAM JACK, the owners wife answered the phone. She actually seemed very knowledgeable herself and I found out later she really is, having assisted her husband on many jobs. She advised that for the issue with my pier post sinking and the floor sagging, that if could be an easy fix and if possible, Ken, the owner, would just tell me how to do it. I really didn't believe this, but she was so nice, I decided to give them a try even though they're based in Eugene and I'm in Portland. Ken came out at the appointment time and even called to say he'd be 10 minutes late (which I don't count as late ), because he was giving a talk to a bunch of engineers in town and they asked too many questions. Again, I really liked that he is a mentor to others.Ken and I went under the house together, although he seemed surprised that I was willing to do that. Evidently not too many women go under the crawlspace, but it was very important to me that I understood what was needed. Ken gave me a bid, which to avoid hassle, I was willing to pay at $500, but he clearly told me that I could easily do this job for less than $50. He wrote out what materials to buy and where, showed me diagrams and drawings of what to do. He offered to get someone to help at a lower hourly rate if I tried to do it and ran into difficulty. For me, this was unbelievable at NO CHARGE. So, it has taken me a while to get my gumption up, but I have now completed this job. My floor is almost completely level, I made a decision not to make it perfect since to do so would have buckled the new flooring I studpidly laid prior to leveling the floor. But the floor is no longer uneven and feels solid underfoot. I cannot say how great it was to run into someone who does business in this way. It was like having your very knowledgeable boy-cousin over to help you out. Unbelievably nice guy, and not patronizing at all, which if you are a woman, you unfortunately run into alot. Ken is honest and professional, call him first.
