You get what you pay for! Rainbow has helped us with several garden projects including irrigation with seasonal management. Their work is excellent. They are punctual and honest. They do charge more than other less-established landscapers. However, the peace of mind knowing the project will be completed as stated and with good materials is priceless. We recommended to friends in West Seattle with a large sloped property and they work there was excellent also. Highly recommend!

This company installed brand new fence (posts and fence sections) on the borderline of my property. They did it in two stages (which was per my request as we had change in plans). In first stage, they installed all posts and several sections of the fence. That work was done rather well. Then 6+ months later I contacted them again and asked them to complete remaining sections of the fence. They started about a week late from their original time estimate but finally came over and installed remaining sections. The problem is that they installed them backwards (flipped horizontally) and now I have several sections of the fence facing one way while others facing another way. They also managed to damage one fence post which will make it more susceptible to rotting. I contacted them several times both by phone and email about this issue starting in mid-May 2016 and I was told that someone from will come over and look at it. Finally in mid June they came over, looked at it and later sent me an email claiming that "to build the fence another way they need have room for operating with tools.". They also claimed that "crew leader will look it one more time" which didn't happen. Essentially they are refusing to fix the problem and I am now stuck with mismatching sections of the fence.

I asked for a quote for biweekly lawn maintenance. I have seen their work around my neighborhood, and it always looks beautiful. They were prompt getting back to me with a quote. However, they would have charged me twice what my current yard service charges ($180 per month vs. $90 per month). Therefor, I did not hire them.

I received an estimate on the day I contacted them! Dariusz was professional, knows his plants and explained his suggestions for the yard clean up so that there were no misunderstandings on what I wanted and what he understood the job entailed. The crew works hard and were very thorough. I will for sure use them for any future gardening needs.

It went very well. They did a good job. The price was definitely in line with other companies we got quotes from so we were happy with it. It was a good value.

i hired Rainbow of Magnolia based on a referral from my sister who used them to do a big clean-up at her new house. The owner, Dariusz, was punctual, responsive, and professional when I met him for an estimate. i walked him through my yard and explained several issues and areas of concern that I wanted to address. He gave me an estimate of $1400 for yard clean-up, and $1400 for mulch and mulch application. I thought that was quite a high price, particularly for the mulch, but I assumed I was going to get stellar work above and beyond my expectations for that price. Sadly, that did not occur. It was a two-day job. Dariusz arrived with his team the first day and walked them through the work, then left and did not show up again the next day to ask for payment before the job was even complete -- it was my mistake for paying him before the job was done. The team managed to remove and/or bury under mulch several dozen smaller plants in the clean-up and mulch application process. The mulch application was also sloppy and careless -- it overflowed into my lawn and onto the sidewalk and other hardscapes. They also applied mulch so high around my house that it went over the wood siding, which is a big no-no due to wood rot issues. Overall, the job wasn't awful, but it certainly wasn't worth $2800 -- aside from removing several plants, the clean-up was good, but the subsequent mulch application has just created a big mess in my yard -- it's only been a few days and the mulch is all over the place. That bothers me because that was one of the big issues I discussed with Dariusz -- they were supposed to address that issue in the clean-up and instead just made the problem worse. The team also left at the end of the job without allowing me to do a walk-through to ensure the work was completed to my satisfaction. I did let Dariusz know about my disappointment and he agreed to send his team out to my house a few days later to fix the issue. They did come back but they did the bare minimum and didn't really fix the problem. In fact, some areas looked worse than before they came back a second time. At that point, I just decided to let it go and just not use the serivces of Rainbow of Magnolia again. Overall, the work was just OK, kind of sloppy, and VERY overpriced for what I got. I had almost the same work done a few years ago for almost one-third the price. I look at my yard now and I'm just really disappointed in the whole experience. Rainbow of Magnolia isn't awful and I like that they're a very legitimate, well-established business, but there are plenty of other landscaping companies that can do similar, or better, work for much less money.

Initially, Dariusz (Derek)was very responsive with providing an estimate and setting up the 1st service date. He seemed very conscientious and customer driven. The 1st service was a major clean up with tree trimming, pruning, cutting blackberry bushes, weeds, etc. The team that showed up to do the job was fantastic (A-team). Unfortunately, that was the last we saw of the them as the team that was assigned to us to do the ongoing maintenance was not nearly as conscientious. It seemed that speed was more important than quality. They tried their best but I continually had to ask them to finish work and clean up things that should have been obvious. I mentioned this several time to Derek (owner) who seemed to be responsive but the problems persisted. The straw that broke the camels back for us is when we asked Derek to come out to discuss some new projects we had in mind and review past performance. After agreeing to a date, he didn't show and had no follow up. The relationship was terminated.
