We had the same guy from this company came to fix our new Samsung fridge that we bought from Home Depot twice. The first time was right after purchase, he was referred by Home Depot to fix the loud noise the fridge made. He didn't fix the problem. The second time was warranty work scheduled by Samsung because the fridge didn't cool sufficiently. The fridge temperature was higher than what it read on fridge's front panel. Food in our freezer was thawed. Samsung customer service told us to shut down the fridge and turned it back on. Then, the temperatures on panel showed a lot higher temperature in both fridge and freezer. After a while the temperature on the panel showed the freezer temperatures going down, but the fridge temperature went up! We left it alone for a while and the fridge started to cool down. The service guy called on the day of the appointment asking me to explain the problem. He asked if the problem was fixed. I told him the fridge was working but the problem of mismatch temperature between the panel and the fridge did not get fix. What was done was a workaround of the problem. He was pretty rude and told me "When I ask you a question, you give me the answer only, okay?" He told me that he would be at my house at 11am, but showed up at around 12:15pm. He looked at the fridge and basically told me that the sensor was messed up because of two things. 1. we didn't change the filter 2. we didn't pull the freezer drawer out hard enough and all the way. So the freezer wasn't close properly. He showed me by pulling the freezer drawer out really hard. That didn't seem to make any sense. I told him again that resetting the fridge was a workaround of a problem. I don't want to loose my food in the fridge/freezer again so I'd like the original problem of the temperature on front panel not matching the fridge temperature fixed. The guy laughed at me and said there was nothing to be fixed because the fridge was working now. The same guy came to our house before to fix noise problem on the same fridge. He did not fix the problem either. He didn't even ask to reproduce the problem, how could he know it was fixed? He did something in the back of the fridge and said the problem was fixed. Then he pushed the fridge all the way to the wall. I told him I thought there need to be a few inches between the fridge and the wall. He said no it didn't need to. I called Samsung after he left and they told me I had to pull the fridge back out to leave a few inches room. I couldn't believe Samsung used someone who didn't know this fact to repair the fridge. I am very surprise when I see the review on Angie's List that this company got grade A. Please, before you use this company, read the review from other sources such as Yelp. We are hoping our fridge doesn't have anymore problems, because we don't want the same guy to come fix the fridge again. Unfortunately when I asked Samsung if they have other company for warranty fix, they said this was the only company in the area. I don't think we'll ever purchase another Samsung fridge because of problems we had and poor warranty service by this company.
Description of Work: He did not fix anything and blame us for the problem.

Description of Work: Radio Hart is the local service provider for Samsung. My new oven was making a loud clanging noise due to a fan blade hitting the fan housing. The service technician came, opened the housing, pushed the blades back into place, & the noise finally stopped. This was covered by warranty without a lot of questions or hassle. Now I can finally ENJOY my oven!

I first checked the internet for a fix to the problem. The fix they listed was to replace the water pressure switch. The service technician said that the problem was on the main circuit board and not the pressure switch. He was going to replace the circuit board but did not have one with him, so replaced the water pressure switch and that fixed the problem. I feel it was very expensive call to replace a inexpensive item..

Repairman called right at beginning of time window to let me know he would be there in 20 minutes. The diagnosis and repair took a little more than an hour. The cost was what I expected. The service was excellent.

l talked to an Asian woman with a heavy accent (hard to understand her at times) and was told they would have to replace the entire door and it would be over $350. The microwave cost $380 new I then called Aand E Factory Service and was told they would just replace the latch. Latch cost $3.48 and the inside door surround cost $8.48. The repair took 20 minutes Removed inside door surround, lifted old latch out and detached spring Reattached spring to new latch and installed in door put new inside door surround on. Easy repair. Radio Hart may be good for warranty service but would not used them for out of warranty repair Yelp reviews seem to repeat my latest experience with this company http://www.yelp.com/biz/radio-hart-tv-and-appliances-seattle

I called Radio Hart after calling several other appliance repair shops because we own a Samsung microwave and Radio Hart was listed on the Samsung website as a Samsung service provider. It turns out that many appliance repair shops will not service Samsung appliances, so I was thrilled when I checked Angie's List and found that Radio Hart had good ratings. I called and spoke to Danny about our broken microwave door latch. He indicated that if they had the part in stock, they could come out the next day and gave me a two hour service window. I was thrilled since Thanksgiving was the following week and we desperately wanted to have our microwave in working order. He told me he would call back as soon as he checked for the part. Within 20 minutes he called back and told me that he had the part, but was reluctant to set the appointment because the cost of the part and the service call was going to be close to $250. I told him that my husband and I were willing to pay the price because the alternative of purchasing a new microwave and installing it would be more costly and likely wouldn't be possible until after Thanksgiving. The next day, 40 minutes before the service window, I got a call from the Radio Hart technician. He indicated that he could come within 20 minutes if I was available. YES! He arrived and within 15 minutes had my microwave working. It was a very easy fix (and now I know I could do it myself if I needed too!). He was pleasant and helpful, giving me tips on caring for and prolonging the life of my microwave. We also have a Samsung refrigerator, so I was able to ask some questions I had about the refrigerator. The appointment couldn't have gone any smoother and we are very pleased. If anything else happens to our microwave or refrigerator we know who we will call!
Description of Work: Our microwave door latch broke, which disabled the use of our microwave. Radio Hart's technician came out and replaced the door so that the door would latch and we could use the microwave.

Same problem as reported by another person in this review.Again Radio Hart came out and knew what the problem as and removed the back panel (had to use a steam generator to thaw the ice). The repair tech also checked the drain tubes in the back to make sure all was well.As I stated in the Microwave repair, I am totally satisfied with the service Radio Hart gave me and will use them again for future repairs. Also thanks to the previous post on this issue I was able to cover this repair on my VISA extended warranty provision. It pays to keep your receipts and bank statements and read what additional coverage you get when you buy an appliance using your VISA card.

The service tech came and diagnosed the problem as a blown internal fuse. He replaced the fuse and the microwave was back in operation. While he was there I asked him about possible causes for water showing up at the bottom of our 14 month old Samsung refrigerator. He explained one possible cause and explained what would be involved to check it out . I will be making a call to Radio Hart to set up an appointment to get it looked at. As the one year warranty has expired I will be using the VISA extended warranty provision on my BECU VISA card to cover the cost of this repair

On the appointed day, I was given a 4 hour window. Knowing he would have to get to the back panels I had removed the food earlier in the day. The technician called to tell me that he'd be here in 30 minutes. He called a second time when it became apparent that he would be late due to heavy traffic. He removed his shoes before entering the house, he was courteous and answered all of my questions. The back panels were frozen in place - he had a steamer to unfreeze them. He made sure the unit was working properly before leaving (required several computer board changes). From the time I called Samsung to obtain a work order to the time the repair was completed, was just over 24 hours. Some additional information - the repair cost is being covered by American Express' extended warranty policy (refrig purchased with Amex card). I paid with a check as they don't take Amex. I rated the price as N/A as I did not get any other estimates or have any idea what others are charging for the same service. Update December 2014 I had them out to the house a total of three times and the problem still exists today. I asked them to make another service call when I saw that the original problem had not been fixed. They refused to respond to my request. Samsung needs to find another repair shop - one where the technicians really know what they are doing. While the refrigerator is somewhat functional, every couple of days I have to knock a big piece of ice off of the back wall of the refrigerator. If I leave for vacation and turn the heat down to 45 to 50 degF, then the vegetables in the drawer actually freeze. Using ambient temperature to manage the refrig temperature doesn't work well in this situation, and I am not going to leave the heat at 65 degF just to keep the refrigerator happy. I have another refrig in the garage that is 40 years old - works better than the Samsung.
Description of Work: Samsung refrigerator (French Doors, bottom freezer) needed repair - I noticed ice forming on the back panel of the refrig compartment. I also requested that the technician check the temperature - I had the temp set to 46 degF, but the actual temp on my refrigerator/freezer thermometer was reading around 38 degF/

I was given a 5 hour window from 1PM until 6PM. I requested that they call at least a half hour prior to coming so that I could come home from work to meet them instead of taking a half a day off. They said no problem, and sure enough, they called to let me know that they would be at my house in 45 minutes to an hour, and they showed up as promised. Danny and Sy got right to work and had everything done in an hour. They educated me on why the dryer heater had failed and took steps to avoid having it fail again. Hopefully it will be a long time until I need anything else repaired, but if I do, I will definitely call them again.

Working with Radio Hart TV and Appliance was a very pleasant experience. They were timely, on budget and got the repair right the first time. When my oven display stopped working I found that most companies do not work on dual fuel ranges. The one company that did would not come south of I-90 in Seattle. Then I found Radio Hart. They not only were in my neighborhood and would work on my range, they were available to come by on the day I requested. They gave me a four hour window, and when it got close to the end of the window I called and it turned out the technician had the phone number off by a digit and had been trying to reach me for hours. He came over immediately and completed a thorough examination before giving me his diagnosis. It was only my schedule that kept the repair from being done within days. The fee for the initial service call was credited toward the repair and the estimate I received was the price I paid. I will definitely use Radio Hart again.
Description of Work: My Kitchenaid oven computer stopped working. I could not use the electric oven, clock, timer or other electronic features, but the gas range was still functional.

It went ok - technician was prompt, called ahead. He was somewhat difficult to understand (heavy accent), though. Repairs went fine, although we had to wait 5 days for parts to come in, and coordinating the return visit to install was a little hectic.
