I had to be somewhat proactive about nailing down starting time. But the painters, Ray and his group, arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, and most importantly provided flawless painting skills.

You get what you pay for. Though QAP?s quote was at the upper end, the quality was top notch. Though the start date was delayed several weeks, the crew was able to catch up and ultimately meet our deadline. The lead painter (Ray) was an outstanding communicator (prompt, responsive, knowledgeable, personable), not to mention a great painter and a reliable, hard worker (starting like clockwork daily, and working what seemed like some 12-hour days). As with any large paint job, there were some glitches, but the owner (Doug) was eager to correct them, the sign of a company that truly stands behind its work. Throughout the experience, we consistently felt that we were in good hands, and that our customer satisfaction was paramount. Even their support staff (Margarita) was very friendly and helpful with billing, scheduling, etc. Highly recommended.

We have used Queen Anne Painting for numerous projects on our house over the past year, both interior and exterior work. Doug has been our project contact on every job, and his attention to detail and costumer service are exceptional. The painting crews are professional, polite and tidy. We are in the middle of one exterior job with QA Painting now, and we have them hired to paint our newly remodeled kitchen in a month. We highly recommend this company.

They were very accommodating. It was a tricky job because it is a older queen ann's style house with three stories and eaves that are not in simple places. The painters where flexible and willing to do what was necessary to get the right results. The painters took a personal interest in getting the job done well.

The job took about a week. Worker safety is a significant concern. QAP uses strong procedures to ensure the safety of its employees. Painters arrived promptly each day, worked steadily, and completed the job as estimated and on time, with no spilled or splattered paint, sags, or overruns. Plants next to the house were protected, and they cleaned up after themselves each day.

The owner did the estimate.? He was friendly, knowledgeable, very thorough and gave an honest bid.? I simply felt more comfortable with another company.

Painter was on time, professional and neat. We have used Queen Anne Painting before and are always pleased with their professionalism and the quality of the finished job.

Queen Anne Painting gave us a very throrough bid for painting the exterior of our house. The price was expensive, but the detailed standards of work listed in the proposal were very high, and the proposal included a guarantee. We did not use them, but may wish we had in a few years!

They did a good job. It was a positive experience. They're dependable and do good quality work.

Working with Queen Anne was contractor bliss from beginning to end. While the carpentry work was performed on a time and materials basis, putting some uncertainty into the process, the quote for the painting was clearly presented, complete and transparent. There was no "price creep." The price quoted was the price we owed. It was not a low price, to be sure. But working with the team was so easy and pleasurable, that it was well worth it. They never made or left a mess, never showed up late, never left us wondering where they were or when they were coming back, and basically, just never did anything except deliver a good experience. Special accolades to the lead on the paint crew, Pete. He is a consummate professional: polite, hard working, conscientious, prompt, responsive, and just a really nice, interesting person. Dana, the carpenter, was another lovely soul who really helped me think through my choices. Doug, the principal, is personable, responsive and really helped me think through and envision the process from beginning to end. The job was substantial and took some time, but in fact, the crew was so good that my husband and I joked that we didn't know what we would do when they were no longer there every day. The only downside with Queen Anne is that once you've worked with them, working with other contractors feels hard, even when they are doing a decent job.

They were good. They did a great job, and I was very pleased with what they did. The interaction with them was very good. We paid additional to get an extra room painted.

I thought that he had a math error in his estimate. He confirmed that was his price. What a joke.

It went pretty well. They supplied the paint and the end result was high-quality. They were not the lowest bid, but it was worth it. We opted out of their doing trim as well, since that would have cost about the same amount.

They did a great job cleaning up the holes left by the insulation contractor. The holes are barely visible and I never notice them. We were extremely impressed with the major repainting they did on our house in 2007 and once again with the touch up this time. They aren't the cheapest company, but they do first rate work and have excellent customer service. We recommend them without hesitation.

It was a pleasure working with Queen Anne Painting from start to finish. I give them my highest recommendation. We interviewed four paint companies for this complete interior painting project. Doug Wold stood out in the interview process as he was very thorough and in fact, interviewed me to find out exactly what I wanted. He also made some very helpful recommendations. Queen Anne's bid was not the lowest. But, Doug's professionalism gave me a high degree of comfort. I was not disappointed in the least. They did a top notch job. The lead painter Eddson was fantastic! This was a large project that included remodeling with other trades involved. Queen never missed a day that the house was ready for paint! When necessary, they worked around other trades (plumbers, electricians, hardwood refinishing) like pros. When it was time to stay out, they did that as well by communicating seamlessly with the general contractor. They repaired lots of imperfections walls and did a first class paint job. My whole family is proud of our house again. Queen Anne Painting is a top notch operation!

The painters were on time and very professional. All of the painting was completed on time and looks great. Overall a very positive experience. We love our new paint job.

I did not use them. They have a GREAT following, but I simply cannot afford this. The estimator was very professional and respectful.

My house has very high ceilings, and the walls had a few lumps and bumps from some questionable construction finishing. These guys were so friendly and professional, they were in and out in two days. They take great care in preparation, and don't leave any detail out. My bedroom went from blah to beautiful, and I am extremely satisfied with the results.

It was a beautiful paint job. I would use them again, and it was outstanding quality of work. The painter was very accommodating and really knew how to do a professional paint job. We have used other painters before, and Queen Anne Painting is by far the best professional painter we have used. He made sure the prep work on the walls and ceilings were done right.

When they were going around the house, they seemed to know what they were talking about - what work needed to be done. But, I don't know how organized this person, or the company, is. Very strange they never got back to me with the estimate. We got along quite well, so highly doubt it was a personality clash.

Queen Anne Painting is truly amazing. Their attention to detail in regards to their prep work, this includes not only the prep on the actual surface to be painted, but also the protection prep done prior to any work is outstanding. Queen Anne's painters are skilled at their craft, and very professional in all regards. Queen Anne's team have been in our home for several projects. Upstairs bedrooms, hallway, downstairs living area, etc. The trim work, doors, etc., in our 1919 Colonial has never been more beautiful. We look forward to working with them again soon. Some people will comment that they may be slightly more expensive... Our thoughts are if the project is done correctly the first time and exceeds all expectations, Is it really more expensive ? We don't believe so. Queen Anne Painting & Doug Wold, have been industry leaders for many years... after working with them, it is very apparent why. We have recommended them to many friends.

Queen Anne Painting have been pretty good. They came out in a professional way. I was impressed with their proposals but I chose another vendor because their price is more on the expensive side so I didn't choose them. They also did a follow-up. I probably will use them in the future.

The paint job looks great and I believe it will last: they did good prep work ensuring the old loose paint was thoroughly removed, surface cleaned, bare wood primed and gaps caulked. They were very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. I will consider using them for interior painting as well.
