SEE ABOVE. It was a terrible experience through and through. The worst part is PROLUX took zero accountability and didn't even bother to apologize. Their attitude towards business appears to be, There's other fish in the sea.... Well, Seattle can be a relatively small place... and one rule of thumb to heed is that a happy customer will tell maybe 5 to 10 people about their experience, but an unhappy customer will tell everyone they know. One other note of caution: their cleaners don't seem particularly experienced with cleaning homes with high quality finishes.... the first red flag is when they hauled in Murphy's Oil Soap to clean our wood floors. I should have listened to that inner voice when I saw that - and thanked them for them time and had them leave. Be forewarned - stay away from these guys - far far away!

I bought a living social coupon and tried to call the company several times to schedule a cleaning. It wasn't until after 2 months of trying when I contacted living social to complain when the company finally called me back. I was extremely disappointed in the service. While both men (named Nick) were extremely nice, their cleaning skills leave something to be desired. While vacuuming, nothing was moved. I certainly didn't expect furniture to be moved, but one expects small items to be moved for thorough cleaning. That being said, there was visible debris remaining when the vacuuming was completed. My invoice notes that the furniture was cleaned. While I saw one of the Nicks using a vacuum hose on an upholstered chair, when he was completed I couldn't tell anything had been done. There was visible pet hair on the cushion and he apparently had no attachment to vacuum upholstery. The invoice also lists vacuuming as a deep cleaning feature implying it was a "bonus" for me. I consider vacuuming a very basic function of home cleaning. In the bathroom, the floor behind the toilet was not cleaned nor were several of the corners in the room. The backslash in the kitchen was not cleaned and the cleaner left streaks on the counter tops. My mantel was not cleaned off and visible dirt was seen. The dusting was hit and miss. In several instances the shelves were dusted but the items moved from the shelf were not. I could go on, but I will chose to stop here unless you would like further details. Some of the areas were cleaned very nicely but that was the exception not the rule. If the men had worked the full two hours and run out of time that would have been one thing. On the contrary, they were packed up and everything was outside my home a full 15 minutes prior to the conclusion of 2 hours. When I pointed that out one of them said they didn't really have anything else they could do. I made several suggestions and pointed out some shortcomings in the vacuuming,etc. After talking to me for a few minutes, seeming reluctant to keepworking, he asked if he could use my vacuum for the upholstery. For me to get it out and ready for him took about 5 minutes. The other Nick came in a minute or so later and the first Nick suggested something for him to do. He did start that in a couple minutes. Then promptly at the 2 hour mark they both stopped. Nick didn't even put the cord away on my vacuum. He put it in a nice pile, but I had to put it away when they left I reached out to the owner again to express my disappointment. He blew me off and said I tipped the crew so my complaints were not valid. I explained the groupon indicated a tip was not included and the men basically told me they expect a tip. The owner didn't respond until I contacted living social and BBB. The owner was ever so happy to issue a partial refund at that point. I wrote an honest review on an online site only to be badmouthed by the owner for complaining even though I had been issued a refund. He didn't get the point.

The crew was on time, clean and polite. They were detail-oriented and friendly.

The service was good. I got a quick reply from the customer service department, and they did their best to accommodate my tight schedule. They were on time and forthright, and they did a great job cleaning my unit. As a result, I was able to quickly attract a new tenant for the vacant unit.

I recently bought a groupon for ProLux; a One bedroom basic cleaning. The crew, of three, showed up promply within the time window! They chatted with me about some changes I made. Since I just had my carpets steam cleaned before they arrived vaccuming wasn't necessary, they were flexible and washed windows instead. Overall the crew was very friendly,efficient and professional. They were in and out in about an hour and a half. They left their cost sheet --with out groupon I would use them again. Their prices seem really reasonable. I would use ProLux again.

I bought a Living Social voucher for two hours of discounted housecleaning from ProLux Home. They gave me a one-hour window for the arrival time (on a Saturday), and arrived in that window. They did a fabulous job on a house that doesn't get regular professional cleaning. They offered a discount on future services, and I will probably be signing up for regular service with them. My house was sparkly, but as they use more environmentally-friendly cleaning products, there wasn't a strong chemical smell when they left. It was the perfect level of cleaning, as I wasn't looking for things like dishes, laundry service, or inside of appliances/fridge/cupboards. All in all, it was a great experience.
