I emailed Plum through Angie's list and made an appointment with Mr. Emre to look at our plans. He visited our home and spent a feww hours walking us through the remodel process and had some great cost savings ideas. We really liked him, but have never heard back from him or received an estimate even though we have emailed him. It's a shame, but I assume he's just too busy to take on our job.

Never had any follow up response.

They finished in 2 days and the owner and Josh were very professional.

Plum construction came highly recommended by my peers in Ballard. I've reached out twice for services and unfortunately couldn't get them because Plum is so highly regarded and popular that they're usually booked out 2-4 months out and I have short deadlines, because I'm not planning ahead very well! Great sign. Unfortunately, I wish I could get my time management in order!

How frustrating! They came out to look at my project and said they would email me the bid. After two or two or three business days I sent Emre a text asking how he was coming along with the bid. No reply. Next day I left a voice message, no reply. It's been a week now. If you don't have the time to do the work, or you don't want it, JUST LET ME KNOW! Don't keep me hanging. Just a big waste of my time. ( and his also )

Emre and Josh's work was of a very high quality -- tiling, structural work, etc. The only glitch was in communication around the cost. Because of the Angie's List deal, they planned to bill the rest of the work as time and materials. Because of how I'd dealt with contractors in the past, I didn't realize this until we were well into the project. They agreed that for this size of project, it should not be billed at time and materials but with a researched estimate. Also, we agreed that any add-ons would be communicated with a change order, rather than a verbal estimate, which, in the case of this project, had been coming in below what ended up being the actual labor time. Because of the confusion over the cost, Emre and Josh were willing to give a small discount, for which I was grateful. I was very happy with the work they did, and, in hindsight, I can see that it was well worth the cost and effort! I would call them again.

It went well. Emre and Josh are great. They were very busy but we waited for their service after 2 months and they came through on the promised dated. I like them.

Fabulous!! We worked together on several quotes for projects around the house. Emree was very professional and gave exceptional guidance on what needed to be done and the implications. He is also great at following up. I ended up being relocated and only did one project - building the deck, which had a complicated trap door in it to access the basement. He did an EXCELLENT job, very thorough and precise to the fine details. I was very very happy with the job - and I am picky!!

I didn't get an estimate and gave up on calling for it.

I purchased the Big Deal to fix a problem of water coming in my garage. Emre had come out and looked at at and suggested a couple fixes. Josh came and fixed the problem, then did a lot of small jobs for me that really needed doing, such as planting a couple of address signs in cement; fixing a water problem with my deck roof; bracing up an arbor that was leaning into the fence; fixing the entrance to my garage with cold patch; replacing (and then painting) a piece of rotten wood in the deck railing. He also saw at least one thing that I had seen and forgotten about near where the water had been coming in, and he took care of that too! The fence gate that was attached to the garage was not very well attached and when the gate was used the siding moved. Josh redid the attachment so that the siding no longer moves when he replaced the siding where the water was coming in. Josh was thoughtful and good at his job and had good ideas for fixes. His attitude was what would he do if it were his house. He was great to work with. I would definitely recommend Plum Construction and will use them again. The original Big Deal was for $1,799 and then there were the supplies for the repairs in addition. Plum Construction added 15% to the cost of supplies, which I was fine with, especially since Josh had to make several trips to the stores for supplies.

The vendor was fairly communicative, but we were not able to find a suitable time to discuss the project or to perform the work.

Plum is a terrific outfit. They communicate clearly and in a timely manner. The Plum team are professional and deliver on their promises. Emre, the owner, is super clear on pricing, schedule, and goals so expectations are clear all around. Their work is top notch: clean, thorough, and demonstrating a real passion for their craft. We couldn't have been happier! Specifically Plum installed six Marlin windows; big, three-awning metal framed windows (we like the modern look). One of these windows was nearly double-sized and another was on the landing half-way up the house. Our house is an old Victorian-style kit home - basically a box. It's over a hundred years old and the window casings showed a lot of wear and tear. We are planning to re-side in the future so we wanted Plum to basically pop out the old windows and put the new ones in with as little re-trimming as possible. Emre and crew did great. Even though it was raining, and despite some heavy glass and difficult window framing, Plum finished the job on time and exactly the way I wanted it done. They even went further, applying extra weather-proofing while sticking to budget. We're so happy with their work that they are at the top of our list for future remodeling jobs - and with a house this old there are plenty of those!

Took great care in executing the job. Asked my opinion along the way and suggested some improvements and used better materials than were originally there. Josh was a perfectionist and did an excellent job despite bad weather conditions. Kept me updated in progress. Communicated time line and costs.

Emre repaired tile, put a drywall patch in a lath & plaster wall, and replaced failing shingles on exterior wall. All were professionally done and cleaned up in a few hours over two days. Emre has done work for me before. He has a good eye for design and always has good solutions to recommend. I'll call on him again for sure.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. Overall it was good. The job went over what we thought it would in terms of time and scope. They stayed on and adjusted their other projects that week so they could complete it that week, which was a good note that they saw it through. We paid about twice the price of the deal.

The experience went very well. What I really liked, was that they took the time to actually ask what we were trying to accomplish with the job. They told us what they could do, and they told us the time that they would take. They have a carpenter who is a very good artisan, and I am still in awe of how things turned out.

Love these people! A couple posts were rotting, and the first fence guy who came out said we should replace the whole (13-year-old, and mostly sturdy) fence. When I asked about replacing just posts, he said he couldn't get to it until late fall (after a windstorm would likely destroy the whole fence). So I called a few other places, and Emre at Plum called back quickly to say someone could replace the posts the next day. It cost just under $500 to replace two rotting posts set in very thick concrete, and it was such a pleasure to deal with both Emre and the post replacer, Joshua. I'll use them next time for posts, whole fences and any other construction work. What luck to find them.

Emre is great and the job was done very well. He was priced well and the workmanship was top notch I would recommend using him to anyone.

Outstanding work! Emre and Josh did an excellent job and were a pleasure to work with. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is evident, and they took the time to do things the right way. The finished project is beautiful and the experience of working with Plum was nothing but positive. I couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend Plum Construction.

From start to finish, Plum Construction was thoroughly competent, knowledgeable, and efficient. Emre studied all the damage, then came up with a detailed repair plan that addressed everything that needed replacement, at an affordable cost. Emre and Josh put concentrated effort into each stage of the project, so that it was complete in eight working days. They are considerate, and easy to work with. All the damaged areas have been replaced. Both the interior and exterior were finished, and match the existing areas perfectly. This project required multiple skills, all of which were met. These guys are true professionals.

Emre was on time, polite, responsible, pleasant. His work was precise and neat, clean-up was well done. He was knowledgeable and had good advise.
